61  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 22, 2015, 11:37:19 PM
I am never going to gamble again. I never win, I just hate it, god damn it!
Screw all those casinos, they all become rich because people play and lose their coins. It is imposible to win from the house. I suggest everyone to stop because it is bad!
basicly that is purpose of casinos Tongue something like a fee so you can play a game xD.
regards.
-Katerniko1
no, thats what the casinos want you to think, they want you to see the price of losing your bankroll as a fee for playing, as if you intended to lose your money there in the first place. if youre going to play at a casino, you should have the mindset to win, not pay all your money for a bit of fun.
62  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 22, 2015, 11:32:20 PM
I think for me my total lost since im young around thousands or some thing.
But here on online gambling i think around 0.5 bitcoins lost in any gambling site.
Im just trying my luck in any site but bad luck... house is always win..
just having bad luck isnt the whole problem, maybe you just need to take a good break from gambling, dont think about either losing or winning any money for a while.
63  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: how much you lost money in gambling? on: December 22, 2015, 09:35:24 PM
how much money you lost in gambling?
after losing money are you still playing?
if anyone addicted to gambling what to do?
you think gambling id good way to earn or just fun?
Thanks

over 100 btc in gambling, including altcoin trading and sports betting, damn i was good at sports betting but after i lost over 75 btc on altcoin trading in 2 years, i was sad so i bet 25 btc on andy murray vs wawrinka in final tour, and lost the money, luckily my salary is decent so i can recover soon.
sorry for loss
i also have lost more than 70btc in binary option trading 10 more btc on primedice ,any way to stop betting??
just employ self control, there is nothing in this world forcing you to keep betting other than your addiction. just take the matter into your won hands and block the site you bet on forever, just stop using the computer if you have to.
64  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling any one got cheated by house? on: December 21, 2015, 11:49:13 PM
In Gambling any one got cheated by gambling house?

Just share your bad experiences with any gambling houses so other people will be aware of it.

Edit:

I don't think this happen anymore. These day people are quick to notice and post they story with proof on social media etc.

It would take hours before the casino would go broke.
people only notice quick if people are looking for inconsistencies in their bets and whatnot. usually, people are content to take the website as is and try out a few bets without really bothering to check each and every roll. and if the house was cheating, i dont see how they would go broke, if anything, they would be making a good deal more.
65  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling be profitable in long term ? on: December 21, 2015, 11:45:51 PM
Honestly, I don't think so for the average person. If you are a professional and you understand what you are playing, the core elements and the essential vital components of the game to take advantage of the house, you will be profitable. There little reason why a casino would want to give you any advantage. A casino isn't there to lose their money, it's there to earn yours.  Grin
except you cant really take advantage of the house, that's why you dont see any professional slots players or anything. you can only take advantage of other players, in a game such as poker, where the game isnt designed to make you lose, and you can come out ahead with enough skill and experience in making the right calls.

Absolutely, every spin of a slot and every throw of a die has a negative expected value (-EV), but in poker, you have both -EV hands (which you fold) and +EV hands (which you raise).  If you always get an optimal value out of your +EV hands and always fold your -EV hands....you'll be a winner in the long run, mathematically.
that's not all thats involved in poker though, if it were that simple everyone would be a poker professional in a few days after picking up the game. poker is profitable after years of accumulated experience in reading and judging your opponent's hands as well, and those small decisions can make or break a player.
66  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: December 21, 2015, 11:43:49 PM
i am just gambling at just-dice. and my target just 3clam/ hour.. no greedy
you should abandon all thought of a "goal" to reach when gambling, its all a matter of chance, and results are not guaranteed. just take what comes to you as it is, and of course, accept whatever losses come to you too.
67  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 21, 2015, 11:41:10 PM
You dont ever have to worry about stopping if you manage you money right.  Maybe people need to rethink their betting sizes that way you can play all the time and not ever worry.
The problem is, not all the gambler knows how to manage their money properly. Betting size are not a big deal, as long as you gamble what you can afford to lose.
no, the gambler only thinks they know how to manage their money, but in reality theyre just throwing money into a site and hoping they get it back after a few clicks. "gambling what you can afford to lose" is a terrible mindset too, that's just an addict's justification to make it seem fine to throw away money on their daily fix of gambling.
68  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: when your out of btc on: December 21, 2015, 11:38:41 PM
No money means the game is over and you lost.
Why would you try to win in a game where you are destined to lose.

Remember it's not you alone but close to 99% of the games are lost by gamblers.
because addicts will always try to somehow justify their fix somehow, convincing themselves in the process that they can somehow beat the system. just take a look around a gambling site's chat box, addicts talking about some secret method that's usually martingale thats a magical foolproof way to beat a losing game.
69  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: December 20, 2015, 02:47:33 AM
it's called gamble there is no safe methods there is only wins , losses and losses , wins
exactly, people cant seem to understand this for some reason Grin
some people are so utterly convinced that martingale or some sort of magical "skill" exists in dice to help them profit somehow Roll Eyes
70  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: December 20, 2015, 02:40:54 AM
yeah true, before, I was good at sports gambling, I could make a profit of up to 100% per week,
but when I enroll in the competition, I always lose, because my goal is to prove I'm great in gambling

You should then create your own thread to share your bets without pressure or bet constraints as in those competitions. If the picks are good, you could be receiving tips or you could try selling your picks like Joca after establishing a good record.
i can tell you from past experience that tips pretty much arent given out, maybe once in a blue moon. everyone always says "surely ill tip you" or something along those lines though Roll Eyes
71  Economy / Gambling / Re: I am done! on: December 20, 2015, 02:39:08 AM
Looks your having a trouble in gambling we all know that house always win.
So if you have a problem about money dont try your self to gamble because your problem will increase and you will be bankrupt in the end
So be wise and smart for better result.
the house doesnt always win, it just tends to win more often than it loses because the games are designed so. that being the case, i think it would be in op's best financial interests to just stay off of gambling as he says.
72  Economy / Economics / Re: Passive Income on: December 19, 2015, 02:21:53 AM
Yes, from stock dividends--I believe that's completely passive, as I do nothing day-to-day to earn what I get.  As others I think have said, sig campaign earnings are not passive.  That's my understanding.  I do post for fun but I'm in a campaign, and whether it's a hobby or not, I still have to "work" for the bitcoin I get.

Wish I had rental properties, that would be sweet.
its passive if you would have posted the same amount without being enrolled in a sig campaign, but that usually isnt the case. when money is involved, almost everyone is bound to put at least some more time into an activity.
73  Economy / Economics / Re: Do your Christmas shopping at businesses that dont convert bitcoin to fiat on: December 19, 2015, 02:17:51 AM
There needs to be more encouragement for shops to keep bitcoin.  There are a few businesses that keep their BTC as BTC and we should be encouraging that.  Not using companies that are just using the bitcoin for buzz and cashing in on all of us bitcoin consumers.

There should be a list online of all the businesses that dont convert their bitcoins into fiat. Then we could as consumers make that choice.

Do you seriously expect regular merchants to hold a currency that is so volatile as Bitcoin? Think again, the answer is no.

What will you do as store when you sell for example a tv for $800 in Bitcoin and hold the coins, and a day later the coins are worth $750 and another day later the value dropped to $700??? You can say, let them just hold the coins and wait till the value has recovered. But it doesn't work like that.

In their system it says a tv has been sold for $800, but the real value of that transaction is now only $700. It means a direct loss of $100 for them. Don't forget that they also have to pay tax over the $800 sale, while their coins are only worth $700  Wink
most big merchants will convert to fiat to cover their expenses for this very reason, but some merchants that are more familiar with bitcoin themselves might opt to keep part or the whole of their revenue in bitcoin. this might be true if their suppliers accept a flat bitcoin rate, but that's most likely not the case. if adoption becomes more widespread, maybe.
74  Economy / Economics / Re: When do you buy Bitcoin ? on: December 19, 2015, 02:13:55 AM
You actually plan out when you're going to buy Bitcoin? I don't think anyone does that. I just buy when the price is low. Who doesn't?
Yeah It all depends on how you see Bitcoin. If you use Bitcoin to make purchases, transfer money or as a daily currency then 'buying Bitcoin' is a little like someone going to Japan wondering if they should 'buy Yen'. Of course you should if you need to use that specific currency.Wink

Yeah the most logic is to buy low and sell high, but I see that people say that is a bad thing for the system. I have heard when you buy high with bitcoin than the value also will go higher en when u sell it when the price is low than the price can go up. I am still confused about this, but is maybe true. So just buy bitcoin a little amount every month.
thats trading bitcoin for profit though, which can be risky without doing enough research and having the economic knowledge to more or less predict how the price will shift in the short term future, not to mention any fees the exchange might charge for trading. investing a bit in bitcoin every month isnt a bad idea though.
75  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do DICE BOTS Actually Work For You? on: December 19, 2015, 02:05:39 AM
I ever deposit 0.1 to let the bot run for whole day..for 80% winning chance and 250multiplier when lose. With base bet 1000sats. and when i check the bot stats its busted whole fund. Alot of losing streak.
So i don believe bot can make profit if we dont set how many xx win or loss.
the bot itself has nothing to do with it, all the bot does is provide an alternate way to bet on the site, usually for martingale purposes, which doesnt work anyways. bot or no bot, the results will be pretty much the same. the bot does not influence your rolls in any way, the most it can do is maybe speed them up a bit.
76  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much can you earn with gambling? on: December 18, 2015, 09:37:14 PM
You can win big when you bet big, but it's risky. The slow and steady method works for me. I can win about a few dollars a week.
sounds like youre using martingale or something then, which i think is just a losing strategy. even that aside, a few dollars a week is just completely inefficient. you can make much more than that in an hour of work. gambling should be done to either win big or lose big imo, not play with pennies and hoping to win a dollar a month or something.
77  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think coming up with new gambling site is risky? on: December 18, 2015, 09:22:05 PM
you will definitely have to find out how to make a new and different website in order to attract a lot of people to it and make money from people who would play it thats one of the hardest thing to do when you start a new gambling website in my opinion
new and different doesnt always work, if no one has done it yet, it means one of two things, either no one has though up of it, which is unlikely with the number of people that may be thinking about these sorts of things, or there isnt a market for it, and would be a waste of time even if it was made.
78  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In Gambling any one got cheated by house? on: December 18, 2015, 09:09:35 PM
Never had such a case where i would be cheated, but i mostly stick to trusted sites and casinos with either impeccable reputation or
with option to check for provably fair rolls. Once i was not getting my withdraw processed, but it was all resolved in due time, so no loss there either.
holding withdrawals isnt the only way you can get scammed by a casino, they control everything from your balance to your rolls. most of the time, gamblers wont bother to check all of their rolls since it takes so much time, and may overlook that a casino has manipulated or changed the outcome of a potential win to a loss.
79  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: December 18, 2015, 09:04:50 PM
I don't know about that, fixing my life with gambling is just not a good option for me.
I think when I am playing and beeing greedy than it will wreck my life.
But I don't just gamble for money so yeah, having fun is almost the best thing to play gamble.
if you just keep going back to play "for fun," youve already put your life in a bad position. you knowingly trade a good chunk of money in exchange for a few moments of fun every time you walk into a casino or open up a gambling site in your browser. an accict will make the argument "the fun is worth the cost" or something like that, but that's just them trying to justify their addiction.
80  Economy / Gambling / Re: Do you think coming up with new gambling site is risky? on: December 18, 2015, 08:47:19 PM
life is a risk and you know gambling has a very big risk. if you really want to do so you must be prepared everything that will happen.

Yes, staring a gambling site must be riskier than gambling in my view. Before earning, you need to spend a lot for making your site more popular. You will need to have a niche game, but, it will be very hard to come up with a particular game that will draw the attention of people.
not really, although the gambling site market is sort of saturated now, and there arent that many new ideas that people are coming up with, people are still going over to play at new dice sites that pop up every now and then with good advertising to bring them exposure. i think dice is fairly safe to start, with all the martingale users bringing in a steady stream of profit.
