Just a suggestion for safety safe, don't put the sha256 sigs on the same ftp/host as the files. That way if the files do get hacked the hacker cant alter the sha256 sigs too.

This is well-addressed by the verification procedures you should follow.

So we don't need to delete the chainstate folder before opening the new update?

No, deleting old stuff is never necessary. If any adjustments are necessary, the new version will do it for you.

Theymos, what i was referring to is seeing you keep the sig and the file in the same location, what is keeping a hacker for rehashing the key after he hacks the client and reposting his version of the sha256 sig file?

Seeing we are verifying the sig from the same site as the file. Its like locking your house and placing the house key under your welcome mat.  The file and sig are too close together.

Too bad #11658 didn't make it into this version.
That isn't a bug fix or a critical change, so it isn't eligible for a minor release anyways.

"This is a new major version release, including new features, various bugfixes
and performance improvements, as well as updated translations."

So which is it major or minor release?

The most if you just bought 1th/s to make profit (assuming diff never changes) which it will is ~ $60 after 5 years of mining which you wont get due to diff going up.

So as i said before if you want to spend your btc send it to me, at least 1 of us would feel better Smiley

Soo i know, or i think i know what HD wallets are, so i make a new receive address and send btc to that address. But then delete the new wallet with the new receiving address and replace with backup wallet that did not have the new receive address, would the btc i  sent to the new address be in the original wallet? Seeing they both use the same seed?

Hope i made that question clear..

Icon

PS

Could someone with the new receive new address be able to see the original btc balance on blockchain explore?

... and Difficulty mentioned was 3.85T/3.51T , is this the hash rate of miner?...
That's the network minimum difficulty (3.51T) and the actual difficulty found (3.85T)
"3.51 T" is shorthand for 3,511,060,552,899
"T"= trillion

AKA Peta hashes?

What you might want to do is enable onboard graphics, reason why your miner intensity is dropping cause you are remoting on that miner/video card and slowing it down to show the remote desktop, especially if you are using windows 10 due to hardware acceleration.

So if you use the onboard video card as the primary you'll be fine, that's what i am doing Smiley

got a question, can i addnode= from local LAN that's running a full node to my spv wallet to sync from alot faster then say using the internet? Reason i run 2 copies is i hate copying that 150 gb of data over my network ~ 30 mins to backup the entire blockchain Sad
Sure, there's no reason you can't. You can use connect instead of addnode to guarantee that you are connected to your local node and syncing only from it.

Kewl Smiley would i need to add server=1 on the full node for it to work? right now it has no .conf file running gui version

Are there any dependents programs like C++ run time software i need to run a full node in windows?  Running 64 bit 15.1 version and allowing connections and about 5 hours later it gets a popup saying ignore, abort and try again run time error.

That only happens when i allow incoming connections..

Not sure what to do, fresh install and fully patched windows 10 pro and Firefox  on a i5 with 8 gb ram and 1 meg dbase cash.

Ok here is a problem, according to hashnest withdraw page it's showing my 2 month old withdraw is at 0 conformations, and there own app is still showing unconfirmed, but when click on the provide txid id link they provide it's showing over 1k confirmed conformations. Either way i still not got my dec 12, .025 btc ...

Icon

** UPDATE ***

Well i am an noob, seems if i went back to dec 11 they did send my btc... I just today got the withdraw email notification..

So you got your withdrawal amount then? When did it confirm and how long did it take to get that confirmation for your TX as it was a lower fee one?

Got it on dec 11, according to Coinbase.. I just never got an email withdraw from Bitman nor did the ios app/web site show withdraw till i posted on here seems, i got under the radar before the influx of higher tx withdraw fees started.

But after i posted on here the next day i got the withdraw email from Bitman and block-chain.info they use for tracking their withdraws finally showed over 1k conformations, weird how that all happened in 1 day. Till then it had  unconfirmed on bitman's web site and 0 confirmations on block-chain.info.

humm question, which is better on multi card miners rig, run 1 client and control all gpu's via the 1 app? Or run each card on a separate client per gpu?

Currently running 1 pc with 1060 and a 1050 seems they are mining 1 algo together.. was thinking of separating them.

Yesterday I transfered some of my earnings to coinbase - It happened in less than a minute.

Really nice! :-)

people can move their NH BTC to Coinbase with no fee ?

Yes sir. Enter your mail and bam its there

Ahh that is if you use there internal wallet/there btc address they assign you. Not for external btc address. And you need a minimal .002 btc to be able to withdraw..

Ya huc is going to need another exchange, poloniex is closing all accounts that are not verified with an photo id, that you can only get via web cam.. Sad meaning low ress cams wont work for verification. they won't allow uploaded photo id's..
