Question: In regards to lowering the maintenance fee, how is it that on your maintenance page the mining profit % went up, to my understanding that's the % we pay you for hosting/power/upkeep the gh/s. It was at 19.6% and now its 26.1% am i wrong in assuming that's 26% btc being removed from our mined balance?

PS

I know the fee is set in USD and is converted to btc and when btc/usd goes down the fee should increase but, past few days USD/BTC went up, (over $500) shouldn't the fee be even lower now?

***UPDATE ***

seems old cexy removed their blog post about lowering the fee rate , guess they meant to say we will be RAISING IT!

Anyone know if the site is vulnerable to the HeartBleed exploit and if so has it been patched yet?

Well something has changed the price per gh/s has drooped down to 10% (was at 20%)  over what the FMA is offering, funny how it lasted all the way up but less then 2 weeks out. So everyone that has bought and held the FMA just wasted there profit that gh/s could had mined for while we all wait on 26 April.

It's getting more fishy.  On the login page they claim to use CloudFlare.  I contacted CloudFlare and they say they aren't covered by them.

Well i can verify this, i use FireFox with a addon called noscript, basically its a addon that allows you to control what java scripts run on a web site, if they did have cloudflare on it, it would show up as a java script. And it doesn't.

646  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: How many btc/day on: April 14, 2014, 12:37:10 AM

Is more or less 0.01 btc per 100 ghs.

Yea you wish it was that high. 100 gh/s= .0.00821779 BTC  per day  @ 6119726089.13 diff.

647  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Cheapest GH/S on: April 13, 2014, 09:21:12 PM

You will be able the generate some coins before mining has even started.
Check it out on CEX.IO

Ah don't believe that FMA will not start mining till April 26th meaning if you buy now it will just sit there till 26th of April.

648  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Cheapest GH/S on: April 11, 2014, 08:29:29 PM
Well if you can hold off till end of month (25th) or wait for another month may 25, CEX is offering futures contracts that are 20% .008 now and  50% .004 in may per gh/s.

So my 460 gh/s i have now can be sold before the 25th of April and buy back ~ 620 gh/s for the same price and in may that 620 gh/s will turn into 1.2 th/s Smiley

Icon

FYI

The futures contracts wont start mining for you till after the 25th of this month and the .004 wont start mining till after the 25th of may.

Less we all forget, the network hash rate is ~ 43 ph/s and BTC Guild is only ~ 7 ph/s and Gash.io  at 11 ph/s that means there is a whole lot more pools out there now taking your slice of the pie, sorry kids you're going to have to share them btc's

650  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PB Mining vs Cex Io on: April 08, 2014, 12:26:39 AM
Well for someone that has been into cex.io for now just over 6 months i am one that's not hit roi yet. And now i didn't get into cex to use bots to trade , i use cex to mine btc.

Use blockchain to verify this my cex deposit address:

18SCt6XCchp7UDnxdRDaJUPUUA8qfjdu39   ~ 14 btc sent there

and with my 460 gh/s and if i sell now i would make only less then 5.10 btc

And i have mined probably (guessing) 5 btc worth. so i am still in the whole -5 btc

Reason i did was simple i rather have small amount of  daily  income instead of just selling those 14 btc and have a limited amount of cash laying around always going down due to me spending it.

651  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PB Mining vs Cex Io on: April 04, 2014, 10:45:27 PM
also PB mining YOU CAN NOT SELL YOUR GH/S , It's a 5 year contract.. Cex does not have contracts. Meaning you can sell back your gh/s, and PB Mining only pays out once a week (Sundays I believe) cex will payout any time you are over .001 btc

>Pool fee is 0% ! GHash.IO SCRYPT Multi Pool is open for beta testing. To get access, request an invite from webmaster@ghash.io. The most active testers will be rewarded with GHS! <

So this.. just how much and when do we get the free gh/s for being beta testers?

Thanks

Icon

PS

And what consists of most active testers i got a 1 miner on 24/7 does that consider me as most active tester or just the 1's with the most hash rate?

653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTO SWITCH] ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta - Multipool Done Right on: March 28, 2014, 08:38:58 PM
.. and still waiting on btc auto payouts set to min .001 seeing the new qt client lowered the xsfer fee and btc guild allows it, why not scryptguild?   I have read servile request for this and still cant go below .01. It so close to being perfect.. (almost)

655  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [6000 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+Orphan+NMC, Stratum, Private Servers on: March 17, 2014, 12:43:08 AM
I don't really see how your hash rate determines your  pps/pplns options, only thing that would count is if you were on 24/7 or on/off during the day. On/Off pps is the way to go seeing pplns takes time to build up shifts to get paid.

Also EMC when i was on it, had min payout .02 for auto payout and constant pool hopping from there servers finally moving to Eu server to stay connected and the UI had problems showing 0 hash rate even though bfg miner was showing accept shares, oh and the fixed min diff rate  it was 10 diff or something no matter what miner i was using, just what ever you do DO NOT USE DGM on EMC.

PS

Glade you took my advice Tongue

656  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5500 TH] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+Orphan+NMC, Stratum, Private Servers on: March 13, 2014, 01:59:31 AM
Well what you could do , if your hardware allows, is point some of your hash rate say 50% at 1 of the big three and and some at the second largest pool ~ 25% and the last 25% at the 3rd highest pool. Think its called covering the spread. that way one way or another you'll get btc that day.

657  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: March 10, 2014, 01:22:48 AM
let it drop, who knows maybe one day we might be able to afford to buy the gh/s cheap enough to cover the rise in diff increase Smiley

.. well one can only hope Tongue

658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [AUTO SWITCH] ScryptGuild (BTC Guild) Beta - Multipool Done Right on: March 07, 2014, 06:52:01 AM
Well seeing I asked this in irc, thought i would ask here too, see if anyone else would want it Smiley

Please consider lowering the minimum payout on btc from .01 to .001 for us hashpowered impaired:) waiting a week to get paid sucks Sad

I mean you already do it on BTC Guild Smiley I am fine paying the .0001 fee to do it here as well.

Thanks

Icon

PS

I know of at least 1 maybe even 2 (does middlecoin do payouts below .01?) other multipools that pay that low..

659  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: March 06, 2014, 03:14:40 AM
i posted this on the cex.io thread, thought i would repost here:

Why would you want to do that for 5 years? And by the looks of it you cant sell back your gh/s. And don't forget the constant rise in diff. at the end of 5 years you might make .0000001 a week or something if you are lucky. (o and that you started with like (1Ph/s).

Sure its 1/2 the price of cex right now, but you can sell the gh/s back and make back "some" of your btc. PB, you cant its gone.

Icon

PS

Who will keep an btc address for 5 years anyways, says on web site cant never be changed.

660  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: March 04, 2014, 07:31:43 PM
