lol eleuthria, you should just remove the PPS option all together, less hassle and no more answering the same questions over and over, oh and var diff and don't let users manual adjust the diff. Then you could have more time for something else Smiley

.. and the loss of the btc that .4 while u are off solo mining. also don't forget to add a node to the config to keep your miner up2date on the rest of the network , so you don't wind up mining old data.

so.. orphan blocks to my under standing is you lost the race sorta. And someone else got awarded the 25 btc for being the first or awarded the 25 btc by the rest of the miners.. I really don't see how you can lose/waste mining power.

I'll throw my 2 cents worth in here, i too got band off bfl forms even though i been posting scene April 2013, after my 6 month delay on my jally, Reason i got band i called them scammers for cutting 60% of the price on the monarchs after not delivering a single one.

And when i created another account they removed it , after i linked to BFL being sued.

PS

@TrillionBTC , that was classic after calling someone a bitch, turning around and asking him to use your cex referral.  Epic

http://www.alloscomp.com/bitcoin/calculator

That is your friend. 1 gh/s will take quite abit of time to get .01

667  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: February 26, 2014, 09:56:47 PM
Why would you want to do that for 5 years? And by the looks of it you cant sell back your gh/s. And don't forget the constant rise in diff. at the end of 5 years you might make .0000001 a week or something if you are lucky. (o and that you started with like (1Ph/s).

Sure its 1/2 the price of cex right now, but you can sell the gh/s back and make back "some" of your btc. PB, you cant its gone.

PS

Who will keep an btc address for 5 years anyways, says on web site cant never be changed.

668  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Scrypt.CC | Scrypt Cloud Mining on: February 24, 2014, 03:22:20 AM
Looks good to me. But website seems amateur to me. Also Break Even In: 169 Days. seems not good roi.

Don't let the front-end fool you, we have a very secured system, but I have to agree that the front-end of the website is amateur. Our crew consists of programmers, we are not top-end web designers. But we are in the process of having a full web 2.0 front-end revamp.

About the break even, scrypt coins difficulty and profitability are very unstable, the rates you see on the calculator are updated every minute with data coming straight from our data centers. I've seen it vary from 90 days up to 210 days on difficulty spikes.

Well if its secure you should add more then just a pin and force redirect to ssl/https: quite of few people and myself included were redirected to just plain http connections.

Also how about adding a display kh/btc for current price, i had to ask someone in the chat box for the going price.

Also how about adding the chat function on all tabs not just the trade tab. Lastly no F2A yet? Your site looks like its growing and alot of btc are invested there needs to be protected more.

Lastly how about an daily or auto withdraw when xx amount of btc is reached. Don't want to become another 50btc.com mess where people left their btc on the pool just to have it hacked/lost their coins.
669  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How come no miner's fees?! on: February 22, 2014, 10:57:38 PM
That or a set fee is only used when you send below a set amount of btc, if the amount you sent is higher then the minimal, then correct me if i am wrong, the fee is waved.

just an FYI if you have low hash rate (i do) then stay away from this pool and middlecoin not worth your time.. That is all..

20 mins to get 1 accept share @ 100 kh/s and over 30 rejects = not good Sad

First just wanted to take time and say thanks for the 2x hash rate increase for the down 8+ hours yesterday, don't know anyone else that would do that. Second can we assume after the maintenance today, that we could start pointing hash rate at other pools?

Thanks and keep up the good work.

Well lets hope something productive comes out of this 10+ hours delay of not mining..

674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How are fees channelled to miners? on: January 30, 2014, 12:18:50 AM
Also the fees received by mining pool might or might not be distributed among miners (participating in particular pool). This is entirely up to the pool's policy and such division is unenforceable. However pools usually do this. Otherwise they would loose miners.

No they don't i know that gash.io doesn't pay miners tx fees' nor for orphan blocks, Only one that i know that pays miners for tx fees and orpahn blocks is BTC Guild.

Geez the DOGE minimum withdraw up-age seems kind of unfortunate for us small time miners, that'll take a few days to generate 10k DOGE with 1MH/s.

Also, flound have you thought about adding captcha to the login screen? I feel it would prevent a ton of these brute force attacks.

Don't add that captcha shit, its nothing but worthless and is pointless. If you want to slow down bruit force attacks add a delay say 1 sec for each time you fail entering password and have it accumulate the more times you fail at logging in.

Crytpsy tried and failed at adding captcha to their 5 min  relogging in, man that was annoying...

Also flound said on irc the reason for the increase was due to all the xsfers logging in the wallet.dat file think is over 20 gb now, on the plus side the fee was reduced from 25 to 1 doge. So just manually withdraw when you want to.

You guys said on the News page that you're not mining DOGE because the overall pool MHs are too low. Do you have an estimate as to what MHs the pool needs to reach before DOGE will start getting mined?

I imagine MEOW would still be better anyway right now, but watching DOGE consistently sticking around in the top 3 on coinwarz is pretty painful to watch when we aren't fast enough yet.

Well for me multipool.us and dogehouse.org are both in the upper 20 gh/s scrypt hashing power.

A snipit off dogehouse.org pool:

Pool Hash Rate    20.908 GH/s
Pool Efficiency    97.35%
Current Active Workers    21335
Current Difficulty    1271.45703428
Est. Next Difficulty    1512.63890396
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Network)    50 seconds
Est. Avg. Time per Round (Pool)    4 minutes 21 seconds

.. lol nice "fix" removing the miner's hash rate on the dashboard, guess that will teach me.
678  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: January 27, 2014, 04:06:21 AM
That is because there is a fee  charged for each share /payout for renting their gh/s. seems you are not mining enough to cover the fee. However if its over 1 gh/s and you just got it. It will pay the fee and get you out of the negative once 1 block or 2 are found. If under 1 gh/s then its not mining enough to cover the fee.
679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [POOL] [VARDIFF] [DOGECOIN] Doge House - We won't let you down! [PPLNS] on: January 26, 2014, 10:07:17 PM
Well i got ban after ~ 20 mins on irc, cause i was complaining about how slow the server is, "Pool is running in SLOW-MODE" for over 2 days now and still have no clue what my total hashrate is, unless i add up my workers hash rate.
680  Economy / Exchanges / Re: ***CEX.IO Cloud mining official page*** on: January 24, 2014, 12:32:06 AM
also its worth mentioning, cex.io charges miners who rent their gh/s a set USD not BTC rate per gh/s, the only thing that will go up down is the amount in btc miners will have to pay in fees to reach that set USD rate.
