There is no special result in this week's EPL game other than Manchester United's win at Old Trafford, I didn't think they could beat Tottenham by 2 goals, before I thought that they would be difficult to win, and if they did win, they would win by 1 goal. It is reported that Aston Villa are interested in Mauricio Pochettino recently. They are aiming to replace Steven Gerrard with him.

Brighton were unlucky in the game after a goal-less draw with their visitors Nottingham forest. The Seagulls Albion did got the best of their chances with countless shots on target but failed to Neil a goal in the both halves. I didn't get clear view of the second half but the first half was fully dominated by the home side with March and Trossard doing their best to make an attempt on goal. Welbeck didn't have goal scoring chances as usual but March present was a big threat for the opposition defend line. But they didn't yield a goal in both halves, it was rather a endless effort for the both sides.
I wasn’t okay with Brighton’s performance. About 70%+ possession, 19 shots and they walked away with just 1 point? It’s not promising. Great possession but that doesn’t mean anything when the attacks and finishes are poor. I hate to say it but Brighton are going to be descending down the table and fast. I want the manager to bring in fresh legs, starting the same set of players every time isn’t giving good results. Nottingham Forest doesn't have a Premier league quality squad. Brighton should have definitely won this match. They got into many attacking positions but failed to score. This match was very simple 2 points lost for Brighton. They definitely should have won and got the 3 points. Looking at the current conditions of the groups, I can say that the most exciting and competitive ones are Group D and E.
In Group D, I really appreciate Marseille's incredible comeback. They started with two losses but they still didn't give up on anything. They defeated Sporting two times and took the second place. I think atletico and juventus are the most surprising results so far, we all have seen how milan are performing in the european competitiond and in a group with chelsea and salsburg two experienced teams in the champions league i was kinda expecting them to have big trouble, still milan and atletico has a great chance to make it to the next phase.
Juventus really has bad performance in UCL, they can only make 1 victory and lost 3 times. There are only two matches reminding and I don't think they can make it good. moreover, they will face PSG at the end of the round match. This will be a hard and tough match to win. So does Atletico Madrid. Porto is a quite good club that has performed well enough so far. But, the result is still unpredictable moreover because Atletico Madrid sometimes plays unpredictably worse. Juventus certainly will not qualifying because they only get 3 points from 3 matches and next match against Benfica it's quite hard to get win from Benfica at their home ground and to qualifying Benfica only needed draw result from this match so their position is more comfortable compared to Juventus and in my opinion Juventus high achievement on group stage will be at 3rd and playing at Europa League on the other hand Atletico chance is not completely lost so they still have any chance to qualifying if Atletico won from Leverkusen on week 5 and their destiny will be determined on week 6 against Porto |
