I disagree with this point haha; I think Simeone is the main problem of the Atletico side; the clubside has signed countless of top attackers and none of them is able to perform under Simeone as manager. his model of football is outdated and he needs to change his approach or be changed if Atletico Madrid wants to challenge again Simeone tactics aren't that bad, they were useful in the past but keeping the same style the whole time will end up by forcing the others to know it and counter it. Honestly, I expect Argentina to pass to the next stage with 9 points. They classified in the South American conference with no loses at all, and it's an extremely competitive conference. This group should be pretty easy to win for Argentina. It is still nice to see the people who are voting for even Liverpool to become the champions. But if we become more realistic then we can see that it is really difficult for Liverpool to enter the title race this season. After that bad run the gap with the teams at top has got much bigger. There is a 15-point gap with Arsenal now.
I know that the season is still long but Liverpool just need to be very consistent and hope for Arsenal - Manchester City duo to make mistakes more often. I have heard that Edouard Mendy might be thinking of leaving Chelsea at the first opportunity now. Because he seems like worried about not getting many opportunities in the starting eleven. I think Belgium is pretty much out of the question here. They will qualify for the next round 99% as they are always able to switch gears considering the overall quality of their squad. Newcastle United instead is a properly managed clubsides with good structures.
