Puppet: you say that the intention is to let other people verify your findings, but I find that's very hard to do. There are no links to the documentation you use, so I can't verify it. For instance when I look up hashprofit.com they are behind Whoisguard, but you have not given them a 6. I suggest changing the format so that you show all numbers, but use red when you think they fail a test and a link to documentation (for instance an external web page or a message in this thread which you control and can update) if they don't. It might useful to put a link to documentation which explains why they fail a test too, sometimes.
142  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin should raise when Ruble fall, No ? on: December 18, 2014, 10:28:31 AM
The Russian market is only a tiny share of the global Bitcoin market so it's not enough to stop the Bitcoin from falling.

I have pointed out some of the things that repeat here:

Nah, what you see I think is just the border of the transition effect.
You have to pause it just before the transition begins. The two first vertical racks of miners look completely individual in their setup (cables, how the miners are arranged and pretty much everything else), but from the third they look completely identical.

Its not a photo, you can clearly see the fans spinning and the camera position changes. If its fake, its pretty well done.
Only the first couple of vertical rows (not sure what it's called in English) have fans. Pause it just before the video of the room ends and look at the rest. It's not very hard to make a video that joins a video and a picture like this if you have the right software.

Just looked at the video on the Hashprofit site, and I think the part that's supposed to show a large hall of miners looks like a badly manipulated image that has been filmed. Except for the first couple of rows all the cables in each level hangs exactly the same way, the curly vertical cable curls in the exact same way, and the rows don't line up in a way that seems natural.
147  Economy / Economics / Re: Russian Ruble drops 12% in one day. on: December 16, 2014, 02:09:29 PM
Both Russia and Switzerland have some gold, but it's not backing the currency. You can't go to the central bank and demand a specific amount of gold.
148  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Ghash.io Secrets they do not want you to know about on: December 16, 2014, 09:34:54 AM
There is nthing wrong with my math, you know why, I am not the one adding it up Smiley I plug my machine in and I turn it on, it mines and I compare it with my electric bill Smiley. so no my math is not wrong YOU ARE!!

Which mining equipment are you using?
149  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 15, 2014, 09:45:51 AM
"I met a bloke in a bar who said for $1000 he would cloud mine bit coins for me, but he didn't" versus "I have a cloud mining contract between me and Jason which he has clearly defaulted on".  One would stand up in court and one would be laughed out the door.  We paid in Btc and got paid back in Btc.  Do any legal systems even count that as money?

Ask Trendon Shavers.
150  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Recovery program beginning in January for PB Mining customers. on: December 11, 2014, 02:37:25 PM
I believe that no body here expects to get any profit from pbmining from no on, but let us get back the invested funds.
There isn't enough money left, they have already been given to the people who joined the scam earlier and withdrew before it folded.
151  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: December 11, 2014, 02:19:30 PM
badbitcoin.org didn't warn about PBMining being a ponzi until about a month ago so it's definitely not listing all scams. In reality most of the cloud mining offers are probably ponzies.
152  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: ## Can you please tell us @@ How do you scammed by someone ## on: December 10, 2014, 09:51:14 PM
Pretty much everyone asking you to send them coins in return for more coins later will turn out to be a scammer. It doesn't matter if their excuse for needing the coins is mining, trading or whatever the next big thing will be.
153  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: December 10, 2014, 08:40:01 AM
Another day, another Bitcoin ponzi bites the dust. Why do you refuse to learn? Some times I get a feeling that Bitcoin is a government project created to teach naive libertarians why their police and laws are needed.
154  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where to invest my bitcoin on: December 05, 2014, 04:30:13 PM
Mining companies that claim to provide a profitable offer in these market conditions are most likely ponzies. The smartest think you can do is to put the coins in a few offline encrypted wallets and make lots of copies of them which you store in different places.
155  Economy / Service Discussion / Question about Hal-Cash on: November 28, 2014, 12:43:33 PM
I'm going to Spain in a few months, and I intend to sell a few bitcoins to have some Euroes while I'm there. It seems to me that it would be very easy and convenient to do it through Hal-Cash (I'm getting a local sim). However, hardly any buyers here or on Localbitcoins seem to offer to pay using this method. Have I missed anything that makes using Hal-Cash a bad idea for trading bitcoins?

Also, does anyone know how long it takes before a Hal-Cash transfer expires?
156  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: November 25, 2014, 02:13:11 PM
Well, their ass was pretty well tuned to some market movements, so the question is not answered so easily...

No, their numbers were hardly related to the market at all. Even if they were it wouldn't be hard take daily turnover or price changes into consideration when they made up their numbers. They did reduce the payout over time, but that was to make the scam last longer and not because market conditions changed.
157  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: bitcoin-trader.biz on: November 19, 2014, 02:53:04 PM
I have done my research and I know now BTC jam is not a scam. Any way might be risky so I will watch.

How do you know this? I think it's more than a bit strange that their deposit interest is much higher than the interest they charge for loans.
158  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: PBmining - legit? on: November 17, 2014, 08:45:02 AM
I think pb mining is legit.............
Then clearly you are not really thinking.
Don't be so harsh. I'm sure he's thinking, he's just not very good at it.

Here's a case where they had considered taking the child from the mother after she put him on a diet: http://www.newsinenglish.no/2014/11/09/boy-found-dead-probably-starved/
