461  Economy / Economics / Re: Spending Bitcoins on: October 28, 2017, 04:19:45 PM

I think someday I will spend a bit of Bitcoin that I have but for the moment I just want to collect bitcoin for my future. Anyone who spends his money just to get drunk will hurt himself and I use bitcoin to make money and I use bitcoin with a wonderful purpose to please my parents.

For me I will also hold my bitcoin and continue to save.  I want to spend my bitcoin in a good way like investing it, buying stocks and mutual funds.  I will also want to put up a business of my own.  Bitcoin is too precious and I will not use it to any wasteful act.
462  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'll never stop buying Bitcoin on: October 28, 2017, 01:17:56 PM
Yes, now I'm doing it - I work and put all the free money into bitcoin. And I will do it until its price allows me to do so. And there already results from the investment in it will bear fruit.

Having said that, I will also put some of my money into bitcoins.  Bitcoins showed everyone of us that it can really give us income.  It has been tested and proven.  So investing on it is all worthwhile.
463  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 28, 2017, 12:27:33 PM
if I already have a lot of bitcoin I will start a new business, because I think it would be more advanced if we run many businesses at once like opening a hotel and car rental or producing clothes at the same time selling it, and making bitcoin as a long-term investment only.

That is the same thing in my mind if I have a lot of bitcoins, to put up a business.  I do not want to live my life forever being an employee.  All of these are possible now because bitcoin can really give a profit.  I will keep my bticoins until I reached the desired amount and secure my future.
464  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bitcoin is not gambling on: October 28, 2017, 12:15:29 PM
Bitcoin is not gambling. Bitcoin is most popular and valuable currency that acceptable to all.  Its beneficial to invest through Bitcoin. Bitcoin is a currency that you use as how you use It. Bitcoin can be used to play gambling as well a lot good work and use. Everything depends on the user.

My friend told me that after I introduced bitcoin to her it seems I taught her to gamble.  Because it is like taking a risk just like gambling because you do not know if you will be successful.  The difference is, bitcoin can really give you an income or profit in return.
465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is Satoshi? Why did he hide his identity? on: October 21, 2017, 03:47:47 PM
I'm curious about that too! Like who the hell is he? At first when i know bitcoin, i heard that 'name' a lot. I think it's another coin like bitcoin, but nah, satoshi is a person.
I think he didn't want to be wellknown? I mean it'll be hard for you to be famous. Moreover for something like this. And also, who knows it may threat your life if someone know your identity? Satoshi may has his own reasons why. Let's just respect it and not trying to find out more.

Or that name is just a pseudonym just to hide the real identity.  Jist like you said, he just do not want the attention and does not want to become famous although he is already.  Maybe it is just his nature not to be known.  Maybe programmers are like that.  Whatever his reason and whoever he is, thanks to him for his brilliant work.
466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 21, 2017, 03:39:31 PM
my bitcoin plan is to be collected until it is multiplied
because the day will come when our wealth goes down
so it's better to have a bitcoin

Bitcoin indeed is a good way to keep because just letting it sit in your wallet and it can multiple.  After seeing and realizing what bitcoin can do to me, I started to save some of my earning.  Then some of my earnings will be spent into buying things needed for my family.
467  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are We Dead Without China? on: October 20, 2017, 11:03:53 AM
China has become the powerhouse for Bitcoin (and the whole cryptocurrency in general) as it is hosting many Bitcoin miners due to cheaper electricity and maybe also cheap labors. China also boasts of probably millions of Bitcoin owners and traders who are influencing the moves of the market on day to-day basis. As far as acceptance of Bitcoin in China, it is comfortably good until such time when the government decided that it is time to intervene.

In general, the Chinese government is not comfortable with Bitcoin as it indeed representing a different currency that they can not control with. since Bitcoin is decentralized it would be hard for the government to make interventions and so they are thinking that maybe it is time to ban it altogether. The government can not kill Bitcoin but what they are doing is actually closing the country as a market for Bitcoin.

So the question is: Can Bitcoin survive without China? In case, it can't then then there is something wrong with it since it is not resilient to ride the big storm it is in.

Yes losing china is a big blow but we must also remember that there are still other countries that we can look forward to and yet here we are surviving and earning at least with Bitcoin. China might have forsaken us but bitcoin is still there and we can still capitalize on it.

I do not think that losing China is something big.  Just look at the current price of bitcoin compared to the price when Chinese government banned bitcoin, its price drops just right.  Its price dropped a little and the price which is nothing to be worried about.  It just dropped then because there was an issue also stated by Dimon.  But looking at the price right now, we are good without China.
468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How much risk in bitcoin investement ? on: October 20, 2017, 11:01:13 AM
I just wanted to know that, what amount of risk is there in investing in bitcoins.
Right now i am planning to buy btc approx 3-4 btc and just hold them as i guess the price of bitcoin will increase in future and i will get some good profit. But i want to know what is the risk involved. Can bitcoin price decrease and is this right time to buy the bitcoin.

We cannot say how much risk it is to invest in bitcoin.  But the sure thing is there is always risk whenever you invest not just only in bitcoin but in anything.  As they say, when you invest be sure to allot the money you can afford to lose.  Besides, no one knows what will be the price of bitcoin everyday considering that its price is volatile.
469  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: crypto Currency is making people millionaires all over the world on: October 20, 2017, 10:59:13 AM
2020 millionaires all  over the world Grin Grin

I cannot say that I would become millionaire by 2020 but I will just claim it, anyway dreaming is free. Wink  It is very possible especially to people who works their entire life with bitcoin.  But if by 2020 and I have saved a good amount of bitcoin, then maybe I can say and hopefully I will be one of the millionaires by 2020.
470  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ? on: October 20, 2017, 10:56:53 AM
What do you think ? Bitcoin is going to hit big value soon like 7000$ and more ?

Definitely we do not know about it since we cannot speculate or predict what would be the price of bitcoin.  We do not even know what would be its price after an hour, we could only assume.  Anyways, who do not want that to happen that bitcoin will reach $7000.  By that time, all of us who are into bitcoins will be surely happy.  It can even goes up higher than what you predict and it could even goes down.  Whatever it is I am still into bitcoins.
471  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What were your experiences with Bitcoin when you first started? on: October 19, 2017, 11:42:16 AM
It wasn't that bad actually, lucky for me I had a few friends who guided me on it, I am thankful to them.
In the beginning, most people actually use to run away. They either do not understand bitcoins or fear technology. There are many people in this world who still face difficulty using new technology but those who did not consider bitcoins a scam or fraud are now out of financial crisis. However, I did some little search by my own and then invested in it.

That is what always the problem of those who are not really inclined to technology.  I can attest to that because I am always been afraid to try new things and always been afraid to use technology such as internet to earn money.  Because most of the time, there are scams around the internet.  When I first started with bitcoin, I was amazed by how it can give us earnings.  Then I invest and was scammed.  But even I was scammed, I still try and now have a savings.  You are right, I was have a little financial freedom.
472  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin survive? on: October 19, 2017, 11:36:59 AM
Positive Bitcoin can survive and turn into one from the most utilised currencies throughout the world. If we see these days there is a good deal of people making use of this forex and the community nevertheless increasing fastly, so we forecast a excellent foreseeable future for Bitcoin.

Bitcoin has been tested and proven that it can survive whatever scenario would be.  Bitcoin is the first ever digital currency in the world which no issue at all, I guess.  Only issues it has are the one being raised by Dimon and the banned rendered by Chinese government.  Bitcoin is well established as it was considered as a currency to other countries.  It survive and will completely survive.
473  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to get bitcoin every days? on: October 19, 2017, 11:34:39 AM
That kind of earning in bitcoin everyday is big enough to have to because here in Philippines if that is my earning everyday $40 x 30 days = $1,200 and it is really a huge earning to have to. So, even if you just stay at home with that earning that would be a big help for you and even also to your family if you have to help them.

If that is the earning anyone can be I think financial freedom is possible to them and may be independently to their families if they are only students by this time around.

You are correct, that is really a good earnings to have everyday and if you are living here that amount is enough to sustain your daily needs.  It is even more than that.  It is really big compared to the basic salary that every workers here have.

For us to have that salary, maybe some sort of investing with bitcoin and posting for signature campaign is necessary.  It can be attainable and could really be a good way to earn because of bitcoin's ability.
474  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Parents disagree with MMO – Make Money Online and Bitcoin ? on: October 19, 2017, 11:27:39 AM
My parent , especially my mom , she always tell me to stop doing bitcoin otherwise i will go to jail or doing bad things to social ! I don't get it ! Old generation seem very lack of experience in Bitcoin ! Why they keep telling us to stop when they even don't know how to check a simple email on ebay ! How to explain them guys ?

That is what my mother told me before when she did not know that bitcoin is totally legal and that it was accepted here in my country.  Just patiently explaining to them that you are not doing anything bad.  You may show them articles that proving bitcoin is a legit and that there are sites and bank that supports bitcoin.  The best thing is if you showed them what you earned and that they see to it that it was converted to cash.  Then you bought something through it.
475  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin Ever Be Shutdown? on: October 19, 2017, 11:24:58 AM
I was just wondering, what would it take for the Bitcoin Network to be shutdown completely?

The only way for the bitcoin to be shutdown is when there are no more electricity and no more internet connection.  Those are the things that would stop and completely shutdown bitcoin because those are the main ingredients  Grin for bitcoin to run.  And those things are also impossible to happen considering that government all over the world rely on electricity and internet connection.
476  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it just me or do the smartest people all still support bitcoin? on: October 19, 2017, 11:18:52 AM
When I catch glimpses into what is going on in the crypto world, it really seems like bitcoin advocates are still generally the smartest people.

Ethereum seems to have so many issues, and a lot of its hype seems to be that Vitalik Buterin is a genius, all these brilliant developers are working in it, etc.

But there seems to be a lot of emperors new clothes stuff going on. There seem to be major and repeated issues. When I look at the bitcoin whitepaper, it's pure concepts- no marketing hype, no gimmicks trying to make it look like the next big thing.

A lot of these altcoins seem to be trying to capture the power of bitcoin and get rich off of adding some gimmicks that promise the unwitting that it is better than bitcoin.

Why is solidity or ethereum better than bitcoin? Can't a basic permissioned client run contracts embedded in metadata on the bitcoin blockchain?

When I read posts on here, my impression is that the best minds are still behind bitcoin. And my impression is that the greediest minds that are trying to act like the best minds are behind most of the altcoins. Whenever people challenge this, the discussion never gets too technical.

What sold me on bitcoin was the conjunction of the economic and the technical. Basically all altcoins seem to focus on problems that are simply not as problematic as those that bitcoin strove to solve. All the altcoins seem to be focusing on technical aspects, but none revolutionizes the economic picture the way bitcoin did.

Feel free to prove me wrong.

I just agree with you.  There are no issues that I heard with bitcoin ever since I joined the community and using it.  The only issue that makes me worried are those rumours that bitcoin is fraud and the banning of China.  The fork and the halving issues but none as to the technical aspect of bitcoin.  Bitcoin is really an amazing program or invention or whatever we call it.  It was intricately programmed that is why there are no issues with it.  They cannot beat bitcoin in terms of how usable and established it is.
477  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is the common cause of poverty? on: October 15, 2017, 10:23:40 AM
Will you explain what common  reason why some other country is still experiencing poverty and some person dying because of hunger because of efficiency on food?

Greediness at its finest.  God give us an abundant supply of resources in this earth.  And there is scarcity of food supply and poverty continue because their are so wise, greedy, and selfish people who want to take all of it all for himself.  That is why poor people are still poor and rich people continues to become rich.
478  Economy / Economics / Re: Money above all things, Yes or no ? on: October 15, 2017, 10:15:28 AM
I can see that people nowadays are busy searching on money and everything depends on money. People nowadays never go to church just because they would rather earn money rather than praise God. Others do not pay respect to elders  because they earn money for them or richer than them. Well for you, is money above all things ?

No,there are many important things in life than money and cannot buy.Like love, family, friends and going to church.A person may be really hard working to earn for it,but he/she must learn to balance everything.

Definitely ans no need to argue for all those things are more than money and has no price at all.  They are priceless.  But you would definitely agree with me that we want the best for our love ones and to our family.  And for them to have live the comfortable life for them, we need money.  And that is the reason why we are here.  Bitcoin is a good way to earn more money.
479  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Jamie Dimon: “I’m Not Going to Talk About Bitcoin Anymore” on: October 15, 2017, 10:09:03 AM
JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon said he is no longer going to discuss bitcoin after much his-publicized criticism of calling the cryptocurrency ‘a fraud’ last month. Noted bitcoin critic and Wall Street banker Jamie Dimon has been known to make dramatic statements about bitcoin, calling it a ‘fraud’ that will ‘get someone killed’. The chief executive of America’s largest bank by assets also said he would fire any employee trading bitcoin for being “stupid.”  Cheesy

Well it is because he realized that all what he said was nonsense.  He will not talk anymore about it since no one would believe in him.  And it is all because people just learned that it is part of his style for other people to panic and sell their bitcoins and a great chance for him and his company to buy bitcoins.
480  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it too late to buy bitcoin? on: October 15, 2017, 09:59:34 AM
It's better to buy bitcoins when its value decreases because if you buy today, its value is quite high and selling value is lower. But that's that's the nature of investing. You have to take the risk no matter what because if everything goes well, then it will be a good sum of money.

We cannot say if the price of bitcoin right now is that high because we are comparing it to the price before.   What if the price of bitcoin after weeks and months would increase for about 10%?  Although you are correct, buy bitcoin when it is low but how we will know?  If we have a money that we are willing to risk then buy bitcoin at your own risk.
