1161  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] Antminer S7 (Batch 2 and 7) w/ Finsky 4k PSU Set-up on: October 16, 2016, 01:42:26 PM
The current market rate without shipping is 210-250usd per unit for s7 and it depends on batches. If you are looking at a higher price, it will be slightly difficult. The longer you drag, the difficulty will lower down your miner price.
Unless you caught some newbie then it will be a different case. It is very difficult to sell together with PSU due to most of the old timer have extra PSU and PSU is heavy to ship and a new PSU is cheaper than the used PSU even after include shipping.

That is interesting, considering they are being sold (and bought) everywhere for over $300+ all the time.
Guess you're shopping at the imaginarium?

Bump to the seller.

Do we know If we are able mining through the wallet with XEON Phi co-processor

CPU mining of this coin is dead without a pool, at this time all the blocks are going to GPU miners.

And there are any instructions on how to mine on GPU , kind of noob on mining.

Thanks

The only instructions exist starting at around page 49/50 of this thread as the only public GPU miner that exits is from Vorksholk

However it should be noted that no one has really got any blocks with his current release since Tuesday/Wednesday that I'm aware of. The last day I mined I found 2 blocks in a 24 hour period across 3 GPU's. Prior to that I found 11 blocks in 1 day.

It is my conspiracy theory that someone else has developed a private AMD miner and they are owning all the hash power. Once you get the wallet loaded up and look at block explorer, you will understand when you look at the miner names that found those blocks.

Currently with whats available to the public, the GPU's can only mine solo, even if you have multiple in one system. Each GPU will each be mining individually.

I'm not sure about that. I sure have. Even with the old v3 miner I'm still getting them on a daily basis on a test rig.

Single 1070 running for the last 12 hrs got 1 block. Not impossible to mine to with one card still.

Anyone notice the AMD references that are finding blocks? You think they're just messing with us?

AMDWRAPP3R
RX480TST

I think so, you know, you can call your miner ANTMINER, or whatever.
Maybe it's a tester or not a farm? Here is to being hopeful.

I updated to the 1.0.6 and noticed that my computer crashes more. I cant say its cause of that, but i am not mining any blocks, been several days. Ive only mined 2. So leave it on and never mine anything sense upgraded. Think anything wrong?

Go back 12pages and read.

Can multiple of your gpus be put on the same motherboard?

Of course, as many as your motherboard supports.

Regardless of GPU age?

Yeah. Even older 280s are still current gen stuff. Mix and match any as long as your motherboard and OS supports it. I run 5 and 6 gpu rigs myself.

Anyone notice an issue with the GPUminer v4? I tried it a few hours ago and my share rate/nonce found messages are almost none existent.
Before, with v3 I was getting a few every minutes with hash rate, now none in like 30 minutes. Just updated block info.

wonder how long can bonbonev, kermedel and coinminer keep this up without a market  Roll Eyes

Once an AMD miner is out they'll fall off.
we don't know, if it's already AMD miner they're using.
they probably dump the coins once it hit the market.
I meant publicly. Most small and large farms use AMD's for GPU mining. Once this coin hits an exchange and a public AMD miner is out, the price will pump up, even if it's only temp, but generation will level off due to everyone getting a piece of the pie .

Right now, Most GPU farms don't want to invest lots of $$ to add CUDA GPU rigs. I know I an't though I could add an easy 50 10xx GTX's to my small home farm in a week with no risk of losing on the II.. Just not worth the hassle of setting everything up on a questionable future as of yet.  Cheesy

this beautiful project needs to be translated into some other languages for the benefit of those non-english traders and investors. there are some translators around that can translate this one for a bounty, i can do the Filipino translation. Grin

Are you high? This one is done.  Cheesy

Just a way to get more $$ for a useless front of a website. Who would get into zonecoin for example so they can use it on a worthless site like his? Nobody knows it even exists and nobody will.

It's like a shell company from russia that do this on OTCBB stocks all the time.
1172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: October 13, 2016, 11:33:59 PM
Yeah, I had to stop mining stop, couldn't reach my coins goal... bummer !!
Gonna wait for a pool also...

I think a pool for this coin will have to have so crazy high resources in regards to Disk I/O and Network I/O.
Unless it's written from scratch and using a custom miner software and not the standard/modified current ones out.
1173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Pascal Coin: P2P cryptocurrency without need of historical operations on: October 13, 2016, 11:19:35 PM
pascalcoin was a good coin to mine at some point but actually its becoming a insiders fest , no more fair distribution with that i think recalling me of the darkcoin fiasco at the start...

Yeah we need to find another CPU mineable coin that has promise and can't be GPU mined.

So are you asking what you should do? Ok. Go find the person / dev and slap him around a bit....LOL.

i don't know

i just spend 60 days on this .. hopping to get big profit

but i loose my money

when this is my first Unsuccessful experience in holding a new coin

i'm disappointed

Ok, so now we have some proper info to be able to talk, as to what you were looking for.

This is a high risk game. It is like investing in OTCBB Stocks. You can make some money (most of the time), you can lose ALL money (lots of times) or you can hit bigtime (very rarely).

If you'd 'have sold 3 weeks ago, you'd have made about 10-15x what it is worth now. Not sure of your entry point or mining costs, but that is always a high risk when it comes to jumping on a new Altcoin (shtcoin is the better term people use).

Just by reading the uninformative and sales-pitch like posts of the DEV I knew this was a scham to begin with. I even posted about it. Hope others did too.

The hashrate reported is not so accurate, as Vorksholk mentioned in one of his earlier posts.
I think that if you manage to get at least 1 nonce every 2-3 minutes you will find some blocks.

Not necessarily. With the current net hash being dominated by pretty much 2 farms, it is MUCH more difficulty .
I have a rig that has not found a block in 1/2 a day even though it finds many nonces ever minute.
Before the farm onslaught of bonbon and kermed, it was finding blocks every couple of hours.

Looks like someone is mining at almost 50% of the net hash rate.  Lips sealed

Just using the V4 miner and whatever default settings are. Just a good card I guess.

Lol. That's just the 1st share. Its always high and settles down after. I've gotten over 2k before.

Too many grammatical errors.

I've not wrote, its a quote. Its not mine errors. And, where you're seeing grammatical errors?

All over, just like your reply.  Wink
