361  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here think that KYC procedures in online casinos does more good than bad? on: July 02, 2019, 08:02:29 AM
As long as the website is trusted and operating for years and has a good reputation, why not? I know that it is a hassle for some user to do KYC but I guess it's for safety reasons as well that it will never be exploited by abuser, cheater, or by worst to criminals or terrorist.
There is the words, "as long as"
I want KYC procedures because I am not a criminal to hide my personality. But due to the fact that owners as well as scammers can use our identity to front or to make it as victim of exploitation then it can harm us. Yes, it good to have KYC as long as it will be used in good things or for customers identity only. But as long as it will use as a subject for crime, it is also a danger for the users.

But it is better to stay away from the gambling site which uses KYC for their member because we don't want to see they can use our identification for illegal things. We want to feel safe on the internet, and when we are playing gambling, we want to enjoy and have fun with any games.

That is why the reason of many gamblers to stay away from the gambling website and the KYC. They feel safe when they connect to the internet without sending any document, especially for playing gambling.

Correct! Although for example our data is currently used for good purposes, but who knows if in the future people who have access to the database will use it for other things for their own benefit. Once we send our identity, fear will still haunt especially for those who live in areas where gambling is prohibited.
362  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using BTC to send funds cross-border (in current day) on: July 02, 2019, 05:29:29 AM
Hi all,

I have money in a UK bank account and I would like to send it to somebody in Malaysia.

It seems simple enough to go GBP -> BTC then BTC -> MYR.

But the recipient is unwilling to open any crypto related accounts currently and, due to AML, I cant use, for example, Local Bitcoins combined with their local bank account (as it's in a different name and would fail verifiation).

Is there any other way currently?  Or must I wait for the industry to mature further?

You cannot send your bitcoin if your friend refuses to accept it. You will need other methods that you and your friends agree on. Sending and receiving money will require the willingness of both parties and for sure, know how to deal with it. You need to negotiate with your friend tho!
363  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be safe on: July 01, 2019, 03:37:43 PM
Hello,
Lately, bitcoin is bumping hugely. It has increase huge before last couple of weeks. With the rise of BTC, many more scam projects will be arisen. Be aware before investing your precious money. Don't fall in any kind of hacking trap. Think twice before clicking any link.
Most of the altcoin project will be pumped seriously by a group of people. Don't buy any coin without any proper investigation.

Be safe.
Happy trading.

We must always be aware not only when bitcoin price increases occur. Scam attempts are everywhere, no matter what the market conditions are. The small mistakes we make could hurt us and as crypto holders, we must take responsibility for our own assets.
364  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: SUMO WRESTLING is it entertaining? on: July 01, 2019, 02:05:36 PM
I did not see any threads related to SUMO WRESTLING and I have been seeing that SUMO WRESTLING is a good sport. Every players are eager to win and the results could.be predictable unless those who had made some fights already and becoming a veteran. Yet, they too still lose.

The sports has lots of excitement especially that the players had different approach, styles, technique and ability. The better also strategy that a player will make the better chance of winning the match.

Does anyone here do like or entertain SUMO WRESTLING?
Can we integrate it to blockchain and betting platforms?

I am not so familiar with this type of sport even though I sometimes see it on television. From the first glance I don't like sumo because, for me, it's not so entertaining. Btw, any game can be integrated into the gambling platform. It's just a matter of the number of fans who might make sumo games very rare on the gambling platforms to this day.
365  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Risks to consider before trading? on: July 01, 2019, 08:48:40 AM
Any other risks that I should be aware of before fully immersingm yself into trading crypto?

https://cryptotradernews.com/investing-trading/top-5-risks-to-consider-before-beginning-your-trading-career/

Let me know please, want to get as much help as possible!

Bring into mind that not all plans will go as expected. We must be able to deal with every possibility especially with the bad possibility therefore we will not fall into great regret. Crypto is very volatile, sometimes we can get good profit and at other times our investment values can be decreased as well.
366  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: MONTHLY BEST GAMBLING SITE!!! (july) on: July 01, 2019, 07:05:57 AM
Every person may have their own choice regarding the best gambling site because there are many trustworthy casinos out there. Besides bitsler is very trustworthy, they have many promotions which for sure will help us to get other opportunities to catch our luck during our gambling journey.
367  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to stop a HODL/HOLD on: June 30, 2019, 03:26:08 PM
Once the price of the coin you hold gone to the bottom, you won't have any option than to hold it because you will loss if you sell it.
This is why we must know the sign when we have to sell it before too late.
Most peoples usually don't want to sell it at loss, but we should be able to do it to avoid the bigger loss later.

I'd rather lose money than sell a coin for nothing. After all, if it ever grows up, I may regret the sale. Why would I cents now if I can in the future earn a lot.

Yes, if one of our coin becomes worthless, why we should sell it. Hold is the only choice. While on the other case, one of our coin soaring, we may stop hold if we are satisfied enough with the profit we've got.
368  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Capital on: June 30, 2019, 10:12:30 AM
But in reality, some gamblers are really taking a loan from somebody or selling their properties just to fulfil their call in gambling. I bet many of you know that a lot of gamblers are in deep debt to someone. Yet, they are still continuing their gambling addiction. I doubt what is their choice to get their gambling capital.
It is certain that people like this are the type of people who are heavily addicted to gambling. Take a loan is a fatal thing for gamblers, no matter how he can repay, but his interest is high, this is a problem for borrowers. However it is a very risky and should be avoided. If gambling capital is not available, then look for some free roll tournaments.

Totally agree. If someone takes loan for gambling, it is most probably an attempt to win loses back. This  means that person already lost too much, more than he can afford.  And there big chances that dire conditions get even worse.

I've been in that position. In debt and had to pawn valuables that I had. It is really ironic to remember that time. The desire to chase the loss instead positioned me in a deeper loan. Fortunately, I am able to get out of that position with the help of my parents. Nowadays, I play only with the small amount of my income just to try my luck.
369  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling securely and sensibly online on: June 30, 2019, 06:56:42 AM
I would like to know what's your motivation to continue gambling  despite not making much profit? Do you think it is impulsive or you are still focused on winning something big one day?

It is interesting you said you enjoy it despite being unlucky

As long as we gamble with the money that we can afford to lose, even though we aren't lucky, it will not give us a big upset. Indeed, even though we gamble only for fun, win will be the important thing. Gambling for fun can turn into the bad one if we are carried away by emotion and violate our original plan.
370  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I LOST OVER 10 BTC IN GAMBLING IN 2018 on: June 29, 2019, 03:50:28 PM
Losing big amount in gambling is really life distruction the way it will stress you everyday until you get move on, on it. I imagine you losing that is like crying and shouting are not enough but youre still believe that one day you will get back all of your loses. When right time comes then it will be back to you again. Gambling can make us broke but Life must go on.

If we lose it, 10 btc in this case, in one day or in a relatively short period of time, it will be very painful. But if it is the amount of our loss in a year, it shouldn't be too stressful. I myself have never counted the money that I have lost because it can bring back the bad memories into my mind. Btw, we shouldn't use the money that is beyond our limits, the money that if we lose it will affect our financial in daily needs.
371  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It’s very easy to trade Bitcoin on: June 29, 2019, 02:33:46 PM
Hmm, trading is easy. But it is not always easy to take. Where the money is called by hand and do not leave to face losses. The price here is uncertain.
I want to say that trading is easy. in fact for 3 years I did not find out how to avoid large losses.
I did not find the answer because this was a kind of guessing and gambling. so far I have continued to study.
Trading is indeed easy, even a person who doesn't know anything about trading, or still new in trading, or even doesn't expereinced in trading can do trade. However, i'm 99% sure if they will lose their money in the end because they only buy and sell without know how to make profit.
If you are thinking trading might be same like gambling, it's mean you aren't skilled on trading yet

Trading will be easy if everything goes according to our expectations. But when things go against us, trading will be very difficult. Our experience and knowledge will be needed to deal with these unexpected conditions. Sometimes we have to cut losses and at other times we need to cash in on our profits.
372  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: June 29, 2019, 12:33:04 PM
Every good trader is disciplined with acute greed management skills. You must practices and read wide and thus learn from the experience of other traders in the market. Understanding when to enter and leave a trade Is very crucial to the success of every cryptocurrency trader

Through experience, such skill can be achieved. We must learn from the mistakes we made in the past and try not to repeat it again. Greed is something that cannot be eliminated from our mind but greed can be managed so that, hopefully, it will give us the positive effect rather than the negative one.
373  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrency soon be an alternate payment option? on: June 29, 2019, 08:43:37 AM
You just said it. You said that big companies are accepting cryptocurrency as payment. So, it means that it is starting to build up its own reputation as a payment to some stores. And will definitely will soon to rise as an alternative payment option.

Although the big companies are accepting cryptocurrency as payment, if the government still not approve, then they could not apply cryptocurrency. The important thing is we need approval from the government so the big companies can be free to use cryptocurrency as their payment option. Besides that, if the government can approve cryptocurrency, people will use and know about cryptocurrency, and if that happens, then we will going to see the growth of cryptocurrency in real life.

But with the rapid development of crypto currencies, the government may change their policies to accommodate the changed eras. As an example, in regard with the news of Libra Coins that will be launched in 2020, it could affect the government policy later.
374  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cash out after having investment trippled in bitcoin! on: June 28, 2019, 04:09:59 PM
My brother had invested in bitcoin where market price has down to 3K usd. Seeing the current market and the needs arisea, my brother had cash out already and I am not surprise that he trippled his money investment. Good for.him but I think it must be hold still if I were on his side. The only problem is that I am not control of his money and seeing him profited in bitcoin makes me regret why I am.not investing and risking money during the bear market.

Who among you here does not hold btc anymore and afraid of investing to bitcoin? Did you regret of not investing on bitcoin too?

Regret for missing good opportunities does exist, but we shouldn't be fall in remorse. There is still plenty of time for us to get the same luck with what your brother has got. Recently bitcoin is in the good trend and it could be the ideal time to buy some.
375  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy Libra - Facebook Cryptocurrency on: June 27, 2019, 05:03:11 PM
Can we buy Facebook cryptocurrency Libra now? How? Where?

I want to buy asap before the price pumps greatly.

To my knowledge, Facebook hasn't yet announced an exchange where libra will be traded. We have to wait until the first quarter of 2020. Meanwhile, as I know, Libra will be a stable coin whose price will certainly not be as volatile as bitcoin.

377  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Am I screwed? on: June 27, 2019, 12:39:25 PM
I sold at $7550, am I screwed or will it at least go back down to $7500?

Have you benefited from your last action, selling your bitcoin at $7550? If so, you are not screwed. Yes indeed, it will give a little regret when we know that prices continue to move up after we sell our coins. But at least when we sell it, we have made a profit. All we have to do now is to wait for the correction to come and choose the right time to buy again. Tbh, we don't need to wait for the price to drop to $7500 to start a new session. Any price can be the entry point.
378  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A new kind of scam in telegram using gambling site on: June 27, 2019, 10:07:46 AM
The guy is so fast to delete our conversation in telegram and block me, I think he's been doing this for a long time and already victimized people.

He will introduce himself as the owner of a gambling site [forgot the name of the gambling site also) he will invite you to invest in his gambling site and make you a winner of their dice game, the catch is you will divide the pot and send him 50% of the winning pot.

Sounds interesting, I asked him that he send me Bitcoin so I can deposit and do what he says, he told me that many people have already scammed him doing that, but when I ask him how old is the site, he told me that the gambling site is old and trusted one urging me to deposit now, but I told him I would fall to this because the site has no traffic when checking on Alexa..

If I made a deposit I'm pretty sure he will block me.

The guy blocked me I wish I  made a screenshot I was waiting for him to prove that the site is legit.

So beware there are so many scammers lurking there and this is one of their methods.

There are many fraud attempts carried out by strangers and we must be vigilant. Such attempts can happen in any social media application not only on telegram. Ignoring strangers who try to give "the look so good to be true promises" will help us to avoid becoming victims.
379  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding multiple altcoins on: June 27, 2019, 07:53:39 AM
Many of us prefer to hold multiple kind of coins. What do you prefer: holding it in a sigle kind of wallet or have it on a different kind of wallet?
Better it to hold one coin of one address, even you have hardware wallet, you have generate one erc20 wallet when getting new token.
no body know when you have multi token on one address attacked by hacker, when you have one, you only loss one.

Yes, storing one token in a single address would be good but it is also will be so complicated for us to manage them. I would prefer to store my tokens in a single wallet with an extra efforts to keep it safe.
380  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Own Gambling Strategy on: June 27, 2019, 06:25:01 AM
These strategies are not new, i have also used it before, but you can't continue in this way for a long time and make profits, i believe in the end you have to come home empty-handed.

Its just a strategy though and it cant help if you play on your unlucky day. Sometimes, even you go on a casino with a pocket full of strategies, you still go home empty handed. Its just a strategy to prolong the game, not ensuring that you can go home with a money on you because at the end of the day, you have the control over your money.

Strategy is just a way that we use to catch our luck and in the end, luck plus the right decision when to get out are the two very vital things. Although for example we use a strategy and are able to win a lot of money, but if we don't stop immediately or withdraw the winning money to the safer place, luck could turn into misfortune.
