241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 25, 2019, 06:26:34 AM
Manchester United defeat in the English Premier League 2019/2020. The Red Devils were humiliated 1-2 by Crystal Palace.
With this defeat, the Red Devils are in fifth place in the English League standings with four points. Meanwhile, Palace is in 10th place with the same points.

This is very disappointed for Man United. Even though they dominate the ball possession, they still unlucky and have to lose the game against Crystal Palace. Hopefully in the next game they will be able to show better performances.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: August 24, 2019, 09:15:48 AM
I just fad betting on political events and even then only local politics. Indeed, the outcome of political events, regional elections for example, can be highly determined by gamblers. Because usually the bettor will also actively participate in gathering support for the figure he is fighting for. But I have never bet on an international event which to me looks very complicated.

Sevilla ML / Dortmund ML / Aston Villa ML @ 9.48

Current record: 7W | 8L

I backed the Villans mainly for the emotional factor, something I don't do too often but I really like Aston Villa and was hoping for a win today...and it paid off! Really glad that they grabbed the 3pts tonight. I think I predicted an Everton win on the bitcointalk pool, ffs!  Cheesy

Looking forward to Liverpool vs Arsenal tomorrow.

Congrats on your win, mate! 9.48 is a huge odds tho and yes, sometimes followed our feeling could give us a better outcome.

For the big match today between Liverpool vs Arsenal, I guess this will be a tough game since both teams have shown good performances from the last two previous matches. But since Liverpool will play at their own home, I think Liverpool will slightly benefited to win today's game.
244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does hard work in gambling count? on: August 22, 2019, 08:03:50 AM
I have repeatedly watched the game of poker among professionals who sit at the table for almost 12 hours and play, smoke and drink whiskey in great stress.  If the game begins in the evening, then in the morning these people are not only psychologically, but also physically exhausted.  I think that such a gamble is really so hard work.

Those are people you see on Tv,professional players who play poker for a living, poker is their life profession and they have a lot of money in real life.If you can manage to become one of them you have successfully solved your life from economical problems.

Average gamblers, normal people cannot stay up that long as they have to go to work, they can try a Saturday night in poker but they will not resist temptation and most probably they will lose all their money.Hard work does not count for a long time but it can be beneficial if applied right for a short amount of time.

Are those professional players have other job or business outside gambling? I think those people are already rich before gambling and they are able to use good amount of money for the sake of betting. If gambling is just the only thing they've done, I don't think they can have such huge amount of money. Btw, gambling is about luck. Hard work will give no big impact since luck won't care too much with such efforts.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I don't know how to trust a gambling site nowadays! on: August 22, 2019, 03:47:29 AM
Why nowadays when there's a gambling site that offer a bunos on your first depost it seems like scam?  Especially if the bunos is to much than your initial deposit.

It is because the first deposit bonus is indeed hard to be withdrawable since the requirement will be so tough. But it doesn't mean the site that offer such bonus is a scam.

And also whe all knows mostly gambling site nowadays are using KYC.  but why when there's a promising site that doesn't require  kyc it smell fishy as well?  What did happen to this world?  How to trust again on this kind of sites?

About the KYC stuffs, there are many gambling sites that don't require kyc and they are trustworthy.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I've lost on: August 21, 2019, 09:57:13 AM
Sorry with your losses, you did a wrong choice whilst you are still into loss.
While we are in sympathy with OP’s losses yet he must realized this kind of mistakes is not normal and him being greed is the reason about this
Quote
I know how painful it is to lose that amount while looking at the price hike of bitcoin. Cheer up man, there's still a lot of chances for you to recover in some other ways.
He must not risk the holding for gambling because those are different thing.he was stocked in the dumping price of bitcoin but he gambled the fund instead of waiting for the pump
Most of the time users get into gambling when there is immediate need for money. Long back they would've spend on gambling and have won a little. With that hope and not analysing much about the risk starts spending. This further turns to be a spending to recover back the loss. As in the quote lot many ways available for increasing the holdings, gambling too is one among the same when played understanding the limits.

It's not just for people who need immediate money who visit gambling places. After gambling becomes a lifestyle, someone will visit it as often as possible. Btw, I found a strange habit from gambling addicts. It seems that lose is the only goal they want to achieve, whether they realize it or not. Why? Most gamblers will quit after they have no more money to bet on. Meanwhile, when they win, they continue to gamble until they lose everything. I mean, as long as gambling addicts have money, they will keep gambling and they will stop after they are broke. Controlling our greed will become a must if we don't want to be such addict.
247  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why Choose Lottery Instead Of Anything Else? on: August 20, 2019, 12:28:51 PM
Here in my country, lotteries are run by the government and proceeds are used in various projects and most specially helping those who are in need like for hospitalization. So if I did not win, at least the money will be spent in helping people. It's just sad that lately there were news that portion of that money are going to that pockets of politicians and not to where its intended purposes.

The same thing happened in my country in the past when gambling was still legal. The money generated from the lottery is usually used for useful things, especially in sports. At that time, the sporting achievements in my country looked quite good compared to now.

Btw, the lottery can be very attractive to people because they only sacrifice a little money for a prize that is fantastic even though in reality, the lottery can just s*ck up someone's wealth if they keep trying to get it from time to time.
248  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Longest Winning Streak in a Dice Game on: August 20, 2019, 09:13:24 AM
I've seen some 15+ streaks of losses before.  These streaks is what makes the martingale strategy a technique that won't be viable in the long run.  Gamblers think they can make their money back when they keep doubling up but eventually they will reach one of those nasty losing streaks.
I don't know why most people in here are using the martingale strategy. Yes, it's quite a strat but I can't see it as a strategy that will help you cope up your loses. After all gambling is like a game, you need to adjust whenever you feel like it. And when you feel like winning, you can just all in and win.

Well almost everyone starting with dice tried that strategy and they are cured after the first long red streak . I still don't like the part to wager a lot to just win the first loss back.

Yes, doubled our bet amounts just to chase our first loss seems so weird but people do it most of the time. The risk is quite bigger for small amount we want to get back. It is for sure that martingale isn't the good method to be used especially for long playing.
249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling habits that will cost you on: August 20, 2019, 02:45:26 AM
Investing in gambling could be a way to make money, but I don't know if now that method still works or not because everything has changed now. Maybe if he can invest and make some money from investing in gambling, then that is good for him. But all in all, I think it is better to choose the other way to invest because the risk will be bigger for us.

Investing our money in gambling site isn't bad idea. The fact is it has lower risk than gamble our money. The risk while investing our money only you will lose some once whale won huge amount or getting scammed by the site (if you invested in trustworthy site, this shouldn't a problem)

Indeed, investing in a gambling site bankroll could be the good way to choose for long term investment. Based on what we see and read from gamblers experiences, most of them are in the negative profit after playing for some period of time. But for sure we should put our money in a trustworthy site and it'll need time before we can get good profits from such investment.
250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 19, 2019, 03:09:18 AM
Chelsea are in bad shape at the moment and they may find it hard to get out of this bad form which they are currently in. The Super Cup loss to Liverpool hurt them and its showing in this recent performance against Leicester which they should of beat at home. Hopefully they can turn this poor form around as they will need to quickly before they get left behind.

Very uncomfortable. Chelsea failed to win at home even though they looked very aggressive. The lack of completion in front of the opponent's goal must be used as an evaluation substance for Lampard. Btw, Leicester also showed a good performance last night. Both teams deserve a point.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are you guys started to gambling with cryptos or fiat money? on: August 18, 2019, 05:06:57 PM
I started with fiat money, before cryptos, but only in sports bets, but after I found about cryptos I started to gambling in online casinos
And I prefer to bet with BTC, it's easier to play in any website I want

Before cryptos, it was hard to bet in my country because we have some strict laws against casinos and the IPs usually were blocked

Same with me. I do gamble a long time before the advent of bitcoin and with fiat money of course. I stopped for a while after having a bad experience that almost ruined my life. Then go back to gambling places again, the online gambling one, after knowing crypto currency and enjoy dice game as an alternative to sports betting.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 18, 2019, 01:53:10 PM
Chelsea vs Leicester City. To restore their confidence after losing with a huge score from Manchester United last week, Chelsea must win today's match against Leicester. If they are fail to get points, of course this will have a bad impact for the upcoming matches. Hopefully Lampard will be able to implement the best strategy this time.
253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anyone here have some strategy to gain money, but with low profits daily? on: August 18, 2019, 07:40:51 AM
playing $ 100 to win $ 1 seems to me a very risky thing maybe you can do it with scalping on live sports bets but it's very risky and low winnings just lose once and all the good work is gone, for a very small, secure daily income maybe is better forget gambling for a while and do some lending...

I won't use $100 to playing gambling for just to win $1 because that is not worth to do. It's better to play for $10 and use small bet to play because we could enjoy the game without risking too big money. We don't have to chase the winning because I think the winning will come to us at the right time.

If we could only win small money, then it is enough for us because we can try to play again in the next days. But if you use $100 to bet, then you will lose the chance to play in many days because you spend $100 directly that day.

Indeed, there is no way to profit every day in gambling even though we only want a small amount of money as a daily target. Gambling is a game of luck and there is no guarantee that everything will go as expected because the worse part can happen. That is the time when we feel very unlucky. The time where to find a profit of just one dollar, feels so hard.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Things That Comes Into Your Mind When Winning... on: August 18, 2019, 04:20:47 AM
Back then I created a thread to let everyone to share their amazing stories, and now it became so dramatic that we almost laugh at it.

So let's start a new one, instead of speaking again and again about strategies and its effects, instead of talking every bad things that may happen when playing to much, and also instead of talking about how will someone gonna spend their winnings and also about their feelings...

So here's the thing, what does come into your mind when you win? For the first time? For the second time? Or even for when you win always?

Of course some might say that "isn't it obvious? To bet again and to win again" but this ain't the real thing, various reasons may come up for every individual. So let us put this into discussion.

Feeling happy and got extra confident for the next games. And even, I can spend a lot of my time in gambling place if I can win several times a day. However, when I am able to collect enough profit, my target is reached, then immediately I will withdraw it and convert it into fiat.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 17, 2019, 06:10:09 AM
The game between Manchester City vs Tottenham Hotspur will be the big game this week. As the host, of course Manchester City is more favored to win the game this time. Let see whether Manchester City will be able to continue its good performance or not.
256  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling as a profession: there's people who live out of gambling? on: August 17, 2019, 02:35:10 AM
Just curious here.
I know there are tons of way to live.

but is there such a thing as professional gamblers?

people who make a living onlyout of gambling (online or on rl)?

resources and comments on that are really welcome.

I am sure there are people who rely on gambling to meet their needs, but it will have a great risk that can ruin the whole life because gambling will depend on luck that unfortunately does not always come. Professional gamblers mostly need good money management tho.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The secret of gambling? on: August 16, 2019, 04:35:48 PM
Well, that is what we called a near to addiction in gambling. Though they are wanted to have a big profit and they always apply strategies on their own but you did not know how it works. But well, the fact is no one believed that there is a secret on this gambling platform. The real secret of gambling is to control emotion nor your self.

Yes, the way we handle the game could be the secret in gambling. As long as we play and follow the plans, we may not fall into the bad situations. The ability to control emotion whether we win or lose is a must. Btw, there is no secret to always win in gambling.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did you ever won a huge amount on gambling? on: August 16, 2019, 09:20:02 AM
In my experiences, I already won but a little amount of BTC only betting on a boxing fight which is Pacquiao-Thurman fight.

Now can I ask you, did you ever won a huge amount of money on gambling?
Share your experience.

All gamblers must have felt the win at least once, but with a huge amount, it is very relative. As for me, 0.1 BTC is already huge enough to win in gambling. I got it couple times in dice game when I am able to hit 9900x payout.
259  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: August 11, 2019, 04:24:16 PM
Rashford goal from the penalty spot gave Manchester United a temporary lead. Surely this match will be even more interesting with Chelsea who are already behind. It's only the beginning of the first 20 minutes, I'm sure Chelsea can catch up.  Wink

I think Chelsea will be able to make at least a single goal in this match and a 1-1 draw might be the most ideal result. Chelsea slightly dominates the ball possession with several shots on target attempts although it doesn't effective yet.
260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you bet on a dog fight? on: August 08, 2019, 03:04:05 PM
This is not legal in most places but theres talks of other animals fighting so why not ask.
I know it is popular with Bitcoin and gamblings.

Dog fight is not a common game for me so I would never bet on a game like that if I had the chance to see it. Indeed, there are animals fight in gambling but not with dog. Btw, I never see dog fight as a gambling medium in my whole life.
