Hey, I saw the first line of your statement came here:

https://www.investopedia.com/articles/forex/041515/countries-where-bitcoin-legal-illegal.asp#:~:text=While%20Bitcoin%20is%20welcomed%20in,%2C%20money%20laundering%2C%20and%20terrorism.

Is that your website or article?

Anyways, different countries have different approaches to cryptocurrency. If you want to know the details specifically, you can search the specific country by hitting your preferred search engine added with the keyword "why the cryptocurrency is banned in..".
182  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are some good, trusty casinos that support crypto as payment? on: September 23, 2023, 12:46:38 AM
Almost the entire crypto-gambling sites that you will see in the Gambling section, having an active and healthy Announcement thread, of course, accept crypto-payment and you can consider those as trustworthy and worth playing. Since there are many recommendations you received right now, let me introduce you to the one in my signature as well.

184  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 04, 2023, 12:37:52 AM
That is what most fans are thinking of him, he just needs to pursue retirement after just winning any match. Regardless of whom it was against, that's what we want to happen for him. But that's what he wants for himself? We guess so and hopefully that's actually what he wants to happen. Because if not, he might just find out that retirement is really for him whether he wins or not. He just needs to take one more shot if he's not yet satisfied with his current situation before he retires. Because if he retires and it's also a loss on his end, that won't be the best retirement ever but he has to embrace that with an open heart as not all boxers are ending retirement with a recent win.

Let Donaire just do what he wants. He was against at Inoue on his last match and the monster is really powerful at 122.

Donaire wants to check if his strength is still there if he is up against any other boxer at 122 now that Inoue moved up.

Until he wasn't beaten aside from Inoue in the 122, he will just continue to fight I guess.

I agree with you. Donaire knows what to do so let's just allow him to do what he wants, whatever he feels. We don't understand what's on his shoe. That's not about being not contented but what if he really has that power to dominate the Bantamweight because Naoya Inoue is not there anymore? Santiago is not even a dangerous threat compared to Jason Moloney.

There are people here who don't know how's the competition in the bantamweight right now so it's easy for them to say that Donaire needs to retire. Smiley
185  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: April 04, 2023, 12:26:47 AM
Yes, instead of making these fights easier to avoid conflicts in politics, Crawford's got the opposite outcome because his decision to leave the stable of Bob Arum seems to become his biggest nightmare now because he's not getting any good deals after that. I don't know what's the plan of Crawford because the last rumor months back was that he might sign under Eddie Hearn but nothing happened until now.

As far as I remember, Crawford being under the shadow of Top Rank, he is always actively fighting but the only problem is, Crawford didn't get what he wants of fighting a top-ranked boxer which he wants for a long time. Since he parted ways with Bob, not just he ends up fighting a non-popular boxer but also not active much in the ring compared to his Top Rank days.

Now that wee the outcome of his decision, does his decision to leave Arum, a good choice or not?
186  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will Gambling Legalization Reduce Gambling Rings? on: March 11, 2023, 09:46:55 PM
However I am thinking that if gambling is legalized, we would see a drastic reduction (not total elimination) in the operations of these rings. My reasons are that their activities will be carried out in a fair and transparent manner such that cases of frauds and scams will be eliminated as there will be proper mechanisms in place to prevent and protect the gamblers.

Culprits will always find a way to stay away from being monitored by the authorities.

The good thing is, gambling being legalized will reduce the operations of the gambling rings as also you have mentioned too. The legalization should also involve people that keep supporting illegal gambling despite the fact that it's illegal.

The more number of established successful operations by the authorities to take down illegal gambling activities while at the same, responsible people that are part of running the said illegal gambling will be caught and jailed, is a good step towards the whole elimination bit by bit.
187  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling Is for the strong. on: March 11, 2023, 09:42:22 PM
Reality speaking, it's really tough to handle the situation where especially if we experienced a heart-breaking loss that we don't know how to move on from. It's a challenge to consider after being in a losing experience and how can we overcome that sad feeling. Unfortunately, others can't accept what happened to them and struggling how to return to their usual self.

Gambling is not a joke. Don't even consider just playing gambling for fun even while always losing and the loss amount is said to be afford as that was all bullshit. For gambling to be fun, winning should be the one to always take place.

Please if you guys will allow me, from now onward I will be dropping daily 3 odds here on this thread, if you want to stick, stick with little amount.

You should create a separate thread for tips for a good start and clean topic as this thread just served as your introduction and now created more responses from the community. You can start a clean thread with only tips so that the response will also be just related to that said tips.

Most likely, only a few did notice your recently posted pick, and reading recent replies after that post, is still pointing to your purpose. You can also compile your results on the first page of that new thread to make it more organized.

You can consider locking this thread now.
189  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 10, 2023, 09:02:23 PM
The advantage depends on how each boxer sees it. Inoue might be thinking that he has the advantage, but Fulton could also believe the same. We will only know who is better once they fight. However, based on the betting odds, Inoue is highly favored to win. Therefore, we can give him the overall advantage to win.

I think Inoue doesn't have an attitude of thinking he has the advantage. Even though his previous opponents are tagged as an underdog, he always takes those seriously without thinking he has the advantage over them. The same goes for fighting Fultin, Inoue will just do what he really is in the boxing ring. The excitement is much stronger since from defending titles he used to, Inoue will now be a challenger.

Correct that we will only see who will be the much better fighter at the day of the fight.
190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: March 10, 2023, 08:58:56 PM
Here's the comparison of the two boxers, 40 years old vs 27 years old, huge age gap.

https://box.live/fights/donaire-vs-santiago/

Statistically wise, Donaire has all the advantages over Santiago.

Some of these are height advantage, reach advantage, better KO percentage, much faster, much quicker, having a strong punch, good at counter-attack, versatile, agile, better footwork, and what else, much good looking, just kidding.

Santiago should not be a problem for a 40-year-old Donaire since Moloney, the supposed original match is even considered much tougher than Santiago.
191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Too harsh on user? on: March 10, 2023, 08:53:27 PM
This happened to someone I know very well, but I found this to be too cruel,  different IPs on the same device shouldn't cause this ban, what do you think?

Please give us clear and more detailed information. Changing SIMS shouldn't have that kind of related penalty. I don't even consider that as a way or attempt to do some cheating on the gambling site. There must be other IP-related issues that your friend went through.

Besides, if your story is true, why not just mentioned the site you are talking about for us to make a self-research?

If that is legit though, that is a harsh thing to do by the gambling site and unprofessional to have that kind of treatment to their customers.
192  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 08, 2023, 11:48:02 PM
It will be hard to have a consistent win while Adams and Morant is out. But once Steven Adams is back on the court, they will have a better chance to win games. Morant may take more time out because of the investigation and everything, but if he gets back in the playoffs, that will be a good thing for the team.

If we take a look at Memphis Grizzlies games when Ja Morant is out, last season and this season, the Grizzlies do have a good winning percentage. They are even better as a team when Morant is out honestly. I see that Grizzlies can keep up with the competition even though Morant is out.

But Steven Adams is an important piece because of his role and position. Grizzlies can cover the role of Morant but not with Adams.
193  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: March 08, 2023, 11:45:20 PM
Speaking of DYIP, I've just read this rumor that as a first pick for the upcoming 2024 draft, they might pick Kobe Paras as the first pick. I lack of details about that rumor as it has come into the summary of details but what do you think about that guys?

Since Kobe Paras and his former team were part ways already in the Japan B-league just recently, it might be possible.

But when it comes to pride, I doubt Kobe Paras will easily accept it. He surely keeps looking for overseas contracts.

This guy is already overqualified in the PBA but chooses to play overseas and he is even seldom joining the country's national team. Unfortunately, no success outside the country nd if he will come back here to play instead on the PBA, he needs to swallow his pride.
194  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wrong Bets !!! on: March 08, 2023, 11:39:54 PM
Shit happened but as you said, it's clearly your fault. Maybe next time, try to be attentive and focus on what you are doing. There is no choice but to accept what happened and move on. Don't think that if you win, you will have a supposed BTC0.007 but think of becoming careful the next time you are placing your bet.

Not happened to me fortunately because I'm making sure that I properly place the correct amount as I'm strict in how to make my bankroll last longer.
195  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 15, 2023, 09:45:17 PM
A weekly raffle with a big prize pool for those who are wagering that much. It's a form of appreciation to these spenders that might lose big in the process.

Just for clarification, when I say "who wagers that much" it's not those big whales or spenders.

I'm referring to users who, let's say, are able to wager $500 minimum in the whole week.

Example:
Wagered $500 a week = 500 users who are able to achieve that are eligible in the raffle. Prize pot: $5000 shared equally
Wagered $1,000 a week = 500 users who are able to achieve that are eligible in the raffle. Prize pot: $10,000 shared equally

Just an example figure.
196  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: January 15, 2023, 09:38:14 PM
Like anyone else here who favors Ginebra to win the series but sees Bay Area Dragon as a big threat, I'm also disappointed with the foreign's team Game 7 performance. They become deadly again when Powell returns in Game 6 that's why I'm sure most here also think that Game 7 might favor the Dragons.

Clear from the start, the Ginebra didn't waste every of their possession and kept it that way. The Dragons though established 35 points scoring after the half but unfortunately for them, Ginebra's hot shooting continues that's why even though the Dragons are doing great offensively on 3rd, the Ginebra is also doing the same.

I hope that some guest team, as strong as, or much better like Bay Area Dragons will be invited again to the league.
197  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Best Times when I visit casinos Versus When I don't on: January 15, 2023, 07:05:19 PM
I don't have this best-time stuff or something. Regardless of the situation, once I feel doing gambling, I will do it.

I'm even surprised that there's stuff like that on some users here. I remember there's even a user who rely on "time" like morning is the lucky time etc.

Not that wrong but just weird for me. Well everyone has their own preference though.
198  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: December 28, 2022, 10:27:26 PM
Off-night performance by the Barangays but I like how Justin Brownlee is keeping up the spirit. Unfortunately, not enough to influence his teammates to push more. Besides, their fans should just move on as Bay Area Dragons is a tough team and no doubt, they are really strong against almost the entire teams in the PBA. Dragons always adjust every time they lose and next game, I expect Ginebra to do the same.

Don't like to see a game where a big lead always happened. I want to see several exchanges of lead, especially in the last quarter where everyone watching will be put on silent mode as no chance of seeing who will win at the end.
199  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino bonus is it worth it? on: December 24, 2022, 11:24:01 PM
The information about how much any Stake players to reach each level is available to be read here: https://help.stake.com/en/articles/4974712-how-to-calculate-your-vip-progress but let me quote it for you to make it easier:

For a user that is a regular user on that site, there's no need to chase level but just gamble on usual. Not even to the point that we should think about reaching those levels. It's not also a usual bonus but that was a LOYALTY REWARD for playing on that site regularly.

It's an advantage for regular players on that site as every bets count as their progress and they just need to continue playing there at their usual. With continued playing, they might not realize that they are already close on such levels even if they are not really targeting that levels.
200  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is to blame on: December 24, 2022, 11:12:48 PM
Is the requirement of KYC from online casino the reason that gives birth to online casino getting regulated? I mean in the past there is no regulation thing pointed to online casino but now all eye are on them for a must regulation if they want to keep their platform alive and functioning.

Why should be there a blaming game? Regulations hit hard these gambling companies nowadays and no choice but to comply with them.

Don't make that general though as if we talk about crypto online casinos, KYC is not even forced.

Nothing to worry about and don't mind that for now. Just enjoy gambling on your favorite crypto casino on your usual.
