141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 15, 2023, 09:19:08 PM
Now, the Warriors will defenitely struggle on their defense without him as they were playing a small ball when Draymond is a significant player for their success, without him, their playoffs hope might be done this season.

No offense to Warriors fans but that was a long time ago. The efficiency of Draymond Green in terms of defense way back during the Warriors rode to stardom isn't present now. Draymond Green is proven to be useless without the Splash brothers alongside the court. It does mean that he's not perfectly blend well to other Warriors players.

Regardless if he's going to be ban or not, the Warriors defense are just on usual and will just follow Kerr's mechanism. Regarding on that recent flagrant incident involving him, I really don't understand why he never changed since then lol. He's now becoming a veteran player at least he should show maturity on the court.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - December 26 on: December 15, 2023, 08:52:02 PM
Marlon Tapales has experience fighting Japanese boxers to win the WBO bantamweight title from Japanese boxer Shohei Omori in 2017.
But naoya inoue is not a bad boxer he is a great boxer monster ko with a fighting record of 25 wins with 22 of them won by ko without ever losing.
I think naoya inoue will win this match.
And this match is played in Japan home base or inoue's home country which of course will be supported by his supporters who come a lot at the match venue.

Not a good reference to consider if you are looking for any advantage for Tapales. Even he fought several Japanese boxers before, we are talking about Naoya Inoue here and we should know why he was even called a Monster in every division he reign. He's really on the other level.

Not even showing any signs of being bulky despite weight increase. That's how disciplined Naoya Inoue is.

And let's face it, even this match will happened in the Philippines, there's really no way how Tapales can match Inoue technically. By almost all aspect, Inoue is dominating in every thing. Sad to say that I don't see how Tapales will win here. But if ever he upset Inoue here, this will be the Fight of The Year, I'm sure about that.
143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Type of gambling and Intelligence on: December 15, 2023, 08:29:44 PM
Does the type of game you play at a casino or sports you bet on show an individual's level of intelligence or how smart a person is?
Blackjack, Poker, slots, roulette, baccarat, sports betting, horse racing, betting on sociopolitical events, keno, etc.

Let's simply put it this way; if you don't understand how to play that game, how can you even compete or formed a strategy to win?

It's not about these games shows individual's level of intelligent but obviously, if you play a strategy-based games, you should that intelligence to applied on that game. Being knowledgeable on that game, you can formed several strategies that might help you win in the long-run.

As the famous saying, play smart, not hard. Remember also that in gambling, don't just bet or play on something you are not familiar with.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most gamblers do not believe they can consistently make money, that's why... on: December 15, 2023, 08:09:20 PM
Personally, I firmly believe that there are people who have achieved real success in gambling. What perplexes me is why many discourage gambling as a means of making money. Instead of outright saying no, they could guide gamblers with the right strategies on how to stay disciplined, enhance skills, minimize the risk of bankruptcy, and increase the chances of winning.

For sure there are lots of gamblers already that achieved in success in gambling. There is no doubt about that.

But that kind of fortune can't be applied to everyone here in gambling world. It's good for me to discourage others from doing gambling and let their curiosity find the answer why other people are like that. These successful gamblers don't have to guide gamblers with the right strategies. I mean, why they should spend time on that? It's not their obligation to do that because in the first place, I'm sure most of them didn't go that way but instead they worked for it that's why they achieved success.

Let these successful gamblers just enjoy where they are now. These newbie gamblers on the other hand should worked on their way up.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 13, 2023, 11:55:47 PM
Now being greedy is something that you should always avoid because in gambling, its hard to get the same winning result so if you are able to have the profit better to get your capital out and secure some profit before you gamble again or you can just totally leave and enjoy your whole profit.

I wouldn't called that as a greedy act but there are gamblers who just wants to tried their luck more. Others are able to get a win more while unfortunately, there are others who are not able to control themselves and at the end, their whole bankroll plus winnings were lose.

For sure if you feel the same luck when doing gambling, you will try even more to play and won't stop because you feel lucky at that time.

It's now on your own actions if you will get out immediately after a big win or you will try your luck for more rolls since you are lucky.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who among you here is gambling at work? on: December 13, 2023, 11:46:00 PM
I'd like to hear from those of you who have experienced this or are still dealing with it. Please share your testimonies.

I can compared it on my habit of doing online games at work lol.

It really create a distraction to my work performance especially when I do really feel excitement especially doing gambling. There are times that I'm hitting lucky streak and good multipliers at slots, I'm slow at doing my work performance and my team leader even notices it.

But at the end of the day, we should know our priorities. It's good to play games even at work but the daily work task should be done properly.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do not gamble with Loan Money~otherwise you will be in danger like me on: December 13, 2023, 11:35:07 PM
It happened to some people. Hopefully, they will be able to get out of that problem.

Take that experience as a lesson and after solving that problem, don't even try it again, or else the loop will just be repeated.

While others are having a good result taking a loan and got a good win in gambling in return, that luck won't happened to everyone.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: December 12, 2023, 11:52:14 PM
I have a big doubt that you will be able to follow that properly. As an experienced gambler for long, they will understand the feeling when:

- when winning, we don't want to stop because we feel lucky at that time.
- when losing, the urge of chasing those losses grows and we will try to achieved that as much as possible.

I'd rather not set a budget for  gambling because it will just create a big temptation once the limit has been reached.

We should force ourself to stop as much as we can, if that's necessary to do so.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What I learnt from a crackhead about gambling on: December 12, 2023, 11:42:29 PM
Good for you that you learned something but for me, we can't generalized things here because it's depend on how those people who involved in either drugs or gambling being responsible at their actions. The pressure is also not the same in drugs and gambling, wherein you can't expect that the former is risking their lives that's why you see them as more a bit of responsible than those gamblers.

In my conclusion, whether they are drug addicts or worst gambling addicts, let's hope that someday they will soon take the right path.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Logic of some gamblers against math on: December 12, 2023, 11:32:14 PM
Hi guys. Someone will explain to me why gamblers have such a strange logic: if a gambler has received a huge multiplier, then he will not withdraw this money. And he will continue to play, saying, "if I'm so lucky, I'll be lucky again now."
But according to the laws of mathematics, the chance of such luck becomes much less, doesn't it?

If I'm in that situation, I will honestly say that I will continue too. It's just that luck is not always there so when it comes grab it. But that's the challenge there, how far we can keep playing until we should stop. In my case before, when I hit that huge multiplier, I still continue to play and try to set a percentage of the win that will be considered as afford to lose.

At some point, I'm not following the plan and still continue. But in the end, I still managed to take home and cashout some winnings although it should be more if I withdraw early. But who knows if luck will come again. We are playing gambling after all.

152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I can’t cope on my own. What do you think I should do? on: October 08, 2023, 11:48:04 PM
There's nothing wrong on giving it a try if you think that's the best thing to do.

Observe the situation, including your winning and losing stats while on progress. From there, you can tell if what you did is a good thing or not.

Give it a try and check it for yourself rather than thinking too much and creating speculations.
153  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 08, 2023, 11:46:33 PM
Sadly, we won't be seeing the BAD this season since the team's been disbanded. I'm sure fans would have loved to welcome them, especially after they gave the Ginebra Gin Kings such a tough challenge in their first attempt. But hey, I'm still hoping for some top-notch entertainment, maybe even more than before!

I think even before, Bay Area Dragons was not the expected team to play again as a visitor in the PBA. Just an option though.

There are lots of foreign teams that were targeted by the board but never it mentioned any names.

I hope another foreign team will be deployed on the PBA. It brings a good challenge to our locals especially the mid-tier teams.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casino is a Games of Chance and Entertainment on: October 08, 2023, 11:42:55 PM
All gambling games are just for fun when you are tired of working all day, don't make gambling a job or want to get rich quickly.

Isn't it more tiring if you lose in gambling? There's a lot of other activities to do just to feel relaxed after a tiring day.

If you will get that relaxation thru gambling, it might give you a different result. Instead of feeling relaxed, you might end up mad and disappointed.

It's true that don't take gambling as a job. It's a horrible idea. Just a part of entertainment but still have a control over it.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Centralization vs. Decentralization on: October 08, 2023, 11:39:09 PM
Being centralized and decentralized have pros and cons.

We can't hide the fact that there's a benefit of being centralized and decentralized depending on what people need.

Which side should we choose? I don't really care as long as I think it won't bring any harm on my part.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons you should not gamble on too many things at once. on: October 07, 2023, 11:44:27 PM
Also, multi sport gambling could as well confine you to a sport you’re well knowledgeable of after several testing on it. But,
No matter what the case might be, your more likely to spend more money gambling and more loses too.

It depends. On the other hand, these bettors might spending more money in the process but if they won, they will also win more money.

As long as their bets are not a product of just a random tipsters around and they really have knowledge on that game, it's good to consider placing multi bets.

There are bettors who are really an enthusiast of doing that. The fact that they want that, means they might have a good experience on doing that.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Getting paid on gambling accounts on: October 07, 2023, 11:37:45 PM
Before I was in a campaign where payments are directly sent on gambling account.

But I didn't end up the same on OP because I know and understand the risks.

Maybe OP just got carried away as there's a balance right away on his gambling account without the need of extra effort just to start doing gambling. I also think that OP maybe won on the way and decided to just continue to gamble without realizing he now fall on the gambling trap and the rest is history.
158  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Common mistakes by unskilled traders on: October 07, 2023, 11:30:37 PM
It's just normal to commit mistakes while trading. Mistakes are the best foundation in order to become a good trader.

Repeated mistakes should be taken as a priority and always find a way to solve a mistake or problem.

Newbies should not be discouraged by their losses. Even professional traders are losing nowadays. They just need to remain focus and disciplined.
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Ever Made Such Mistake Before, But Won still? on: October 07, 2023, 11:21:04 PM
So by this experience, I am moved to ask you guys if any one of you have ever made such a mistake, but it turned out in your favor? Please share with us.

Yes, happened to me once. I can't remember the casino game anymore but their interface is not that convenient. The bet amount option is located where my hands are pressing the Spin button. I didn't notice while I'm continuing to do the spin, the bet amount was already changed to a really a bet amount that I won't ever never touch even I have a good bankroll.

After hitting the win, I will make sure that I won't do that mistake even that gives hitting a win.

My luck just come and go. Better take advantage of that win instead of repeating the same.

It's risky going against the leverage. You don't want to just rely everything on a tool.
