Instead loosing the time on pointless excuses do what you promised regarding PoS. Give the solution and release date or admit you are not capable to make a fix...

Yes, yobit wallet is online. I predict that huge Dump is incoming. Actually it has already started. Update: Yes it is happening  For 3 weeks so called DEV is not capable to fix POS, great idea for the coin but very poor implementation. With that attitude this coin is finished. I will mine it than dump it every day just to bring it out of misery and crypto world existence. good for you mate and good luck with that  Pos will be fixed, and other than that the coin is working fine btw. I do not need luck with that it will be 0 at no time even without me dumping  It look like you need a greater luck to recover PoS, since you don't have knowledge. And yeah coin doing great, DOGE coin value great. Ignorance is bliss... I can't stop you or anyone else from dumping the coin even if PoS worked perfectly. Pumps and dumps are part of the ecosystem and I do not have a problem with that. This is not the first and it most certainly will not be the last. But anyway, if you don't like the coin just dump and forget about it, no need to spread FUD here |

I did send some Nevacoins to yobits wallet and tx went ok, but i dont see those in my balance.
Is there any news about yobit's situation?

Regarding PoW vs PoS, IMHO i would like to see more PoS rewards in future, less from PoW. We dont have ATM good miner software(s) for Neva, ocminer is CPU miner? those are dead for me current NVidia miner works, i use that but it still has some issues and there is no AFAIK AMD miner for Neva (?) Well that is already achieved, after the second halving there is no more PoW. Decreasing the reward before that does not seem fair to me since PoW is more energy intensive than PoS. If anythig it should be the other way around. But nevacoin was desinged this way for a reason, to make all blocks equal, with fixed rewards. I think it is still a good idea and it differs from tha majority of PoS altcoins... |

I am not touching PoW code in this situation. Without pow the network would die right now. So after pos is fixed we can discuss this further. Regarding the timing, I would not like to decrease it, it could cause problems down the road, when the whole world is using nevacoin (I am very optimistic  ) and blocks get bigger, block propagation can be problematic because of the increased latency. Anyway, fixing pos now, other stuff later |

Hmm, it seems new fix did not work, still no PoS blocks.
Can we just go back to original PoS code that was used before 100k, that worked just fine IMHO.

Any thoughts on making the cat PoS also? I have two cats at home, I just hate seeing this coin slowly die... Any updates planed? My node is still off due to the log spamming... From the beginning, krile, this was intended to be a POW coin only. We've (dev and community) looked at changing coin parameters at each major fork in the road and the answer each time has remained the same: POW and 10 minute blocks. It appears we're the last 'bitcoin in scrypt' original coin still standing. And as the community and devs identified problems with things like KGW et al, we were able to side-step the problems other coins walked into. Note that we are not one of the coins still struggling with profit-switch miners - that's no longer a problem for CAT. CAT's very much alive and will remain so - just because there aren't a lot of posts here doesn't mean much - we're still on IRC 24/7, still have testnet and updates in the pipeline, and are still working on exchanges and opportunities to use CAT in the real world. BitFUDtalk really isn't the center of the universe.  I'm still interested in your 'log spamming' - I run a seed node and have my personal wallets. At this point the best thing I can say about that mess is that I'm using it as a reminder of why the best place to keep coin is in my personal wallet. I won't 'invest' more than I am willing to lose, I don't send coins to exchanges unless I'm going to exchange them and withdraw. I don't keep coins on pools, I don't use on-line wallets, I don't keep coins even at Coinbase. The wallet is our friend here...the wallet on my computer. That's the only one I can absolutely trust. And finally, CATs - for the members of this dev team, this project has never been a 'pump and dump' project, or a 'ponzi scheme', or any of the other scams that we've all seen for years. That's one thing that has been different about CAT from the start. We have been working to build a reliable coin - a coin that "just works" like it's supposed to in today's environment. Coins have come and gone, many exchanges have come and gone, but CAT is still here and still working. That's a good thing! This could be fixed quite simply by releasing a new client build that disconnects from nodes that are running a lower than specified version. I contacted Yobit again regarding the wallet in maintenance issue. I dont understand why they are having issues, unless they are angry because they cant stake as much as they could before the update I think they never updated, their so called "REPORT UPDATE/ISSUE/FORK" contact form appears to be of no use. I never got any feedback if they received my message about the update. Hope I get a reply soon. And I hope even more that this coin gets listed on another exchange soon... |

I cant sync wallet.. stuck at 100666 Started from scratch on another PC - got stuck at 65992... 20+ connections to network but wont go over that block  PS: adding some nodes from start of previous page got me past this block So if I understand correctly you are synced now? |

Thx for fixes, i have updated my wallets. Also donated some Nevas to your address. Quick calculation that it will take about ~5 days until 103k block, right? Right now the network slowed to about 450 blocks a day. So yes around 4-5 days till block 103k. |

Finally. . kinda was waiting for an update dev. yobit neva wallet was under maintenance. they said that

"D/WD coin will be available after you upgrade the source code of the wallet. Unfortunately the developers are not in a hurry to send the updates - therefore, in order to avoid the loss of users, the network is not available.
If you have updated the source code of the coin, send it to us and we will promptly correct the problem on the coin."
Not sure why it would be under maintenance, the wallet works fine, coins can be sent normally, just the staking part slowed abnormally... Anyway, I will send them the source once it is ready. But I have a feeling they didnt even update to 1.2.1 (of which I notified them months ago). |
