So the jumbucks were selling for like 40 cents each right.. and people are getting a 10 to 1 conversion.
So UBQ could end up being worth 4 cents a coin.
That is $315 of coins you can mine per day.
If too much hash is on the network then it wont be very profitable to mine, if it is less than eth profit then you are better off mining eth and buying ubq directly. So lets NOT kill the hashrates on this one.
basically if you will be earning less than 25 coins per day per card then pull the hash off and put it somewhere else.

Have you checked that the address that you used to sign the message actually holds the funds? Check on the blockexplorer: https://chainz.cryptoid.info/jbs/If it is the right address than all is well. From what I know, your UBIQ funds will be credited in the genesis block. So you will be able to see them tomorrow at your new UBIQ address you created, when the network starts... Thanks, the funds do appear to be there using the block explorer. Will UBIQ be listed on the same explorer? I believe not. I mean, ubiq is a new coin, so it wont be listed under jumbucks. If dont know if the devs picked CryptoID for the explorer hosting... I think it is best to just wait for the devs to update the links. After the network starts tomorrow I assume, there will be more info posted regarding explorers and other details. |

Thanks for your reply. My coinomi wallet shows no balance for jumbucks. I have tried refreshing it several times. If I had a balance showing I would transfer it to bittrex, but as things stand I'm stuck.

Hi,
I need to swap my jbs to ubq. I think I understand the process, but I have a big problem. I held my jbs in a coinomi wallet which now shows zero balance and in any event has no way to sign messages.
The last time I had trouble with jbs on coinomi it was due to the backend jbs server needing resynching. Is that going to happen or have I just lost all my jbs?
You did not lose them. You can always export the private keys from coinomi if you have the seed that created the wallet. Its a bit of a process, but it can be done. And you can sign messages from coinomi, just tap on the "three dot" menu in the upper right corner, you have the sign message function there.
But probably the electrum servers for jumbucks are having issues, just check again later to see your balance. Edit: just checked, my coinomi wallet shows everything ok |

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think it is your new UBQ address that you sign it with, not the private key. Just want to clear that up so nobody makes a mistake with it. You sign the message with the private key that holds your jumbucks balance. The "message" itself is the UBQ address. Nowhere in this process are you using the UBQ private key. You do not sign it with the UBQ address, you sign it with the JBS address/privkey. |

It was not directed at you Hey not a problem and congrats on the coin, personally I think 13 years is a really cool thing to look forward to, sure in reality alt coins are a huge gamble and many do die, but like you said if the Blake Alg and crypto/btc continue to rise, and if the coin has something to offer, there's a very good chance we will still see many of the alt coins today, and hopefully at a much higher price. Hell if anyone can replicate to a small degree what bitcoin miners did at the beginning with some alts in a way, would be so awesome. It would be cool to see some sort of POS Reward every year or two though, maybe as an incentive to stick with the coin for the 13 year run, again not sure if that's even possible to do something like once a year, but well done none the less. A quick pump and the difficulty going through the roof was never the plan. So almost a year later as far as I am concerned the goal was achieved. Is this part of the plan or just something random on my side? Running version v1.9-13-gf01ea64. Im at block 1259639, explorer is at 1277911 atm. Started checking the forums and found UBIQ I filled out your swap google form. I guess I can shut down my jumbucks node now? Doing a resync at the moment till I find out what is going on. Cheers |

Well I also never said it would last. Its a fun experiment and I am learning a lot from it I do think though that it is unique and might have a bright future with the blake2s algo and the different reward structue than 99% of alts. But sadly the main "app" in cryptocurrencyes is still speculation, its all a gamble |

I wanted to ask whats with the blocks being (pos) generated, it is seen even in the chain, for about 2 minutes (!!!!! thats the part, not few seconds, minutes!) and then in becomes conflicted... Its really strange if you ask me.
It gets conflicted because a bunch of nodes find a block at once, so they all have the same height. When another block is found on top of the previous block (usually a rich node signs a few blocks in a row) the block that the other node finds becomes conflicted. It sometimes takes seconds and sometimes minutes. Then it all depends how the various same height blocks are propagated around the network, sometimes you might be on a chain that confirms your block for a few minutes until your node reorganizes and syncs to the highest chain (leaving your block conflicted). The problem is, like I said a few times before (and I could be mistaken of course) because of the stalls in the chain. The difficulty drops to fast after the chain is stuck for an hour for example. Giving a small time frame to every node that holds some coins, even small amounts to sign a block. This creates chaos in the network since a bunch of same height blocks are floating around everywhere at that moment. In this fight the best connected node usually wins + the node that has plenty of coins and manages to sign another block immediately, creating the longest chain. After the fork this should stabilize. But people need to realize one thing. I am being bombarded with this question. People say they are "losing coins" with conflicted stakes. The rules of the network are simple, get 25 confirmations on top of your block and the coins are yours. If you do not get 25 confirmations, you do not get the coins and you did not lose the coins, you never got them, they were never yours. Those 5 coins you "almost" staked existed only locally in your wallet and did not make it into the longest chain. If anybody expects that you will stake more after the fork that is wrong. You will stake exactly the same, you will just see less conflicted stakes in the wallet. That is it. It will probably get even harder to get a stake since you will not even get this chance to get a low difficulty chance so often. I could solve this right now with a simple tweak in the wallet (without a fork), to not display stakes that do not have n-confirmations already. But that would be the easy way and would not optimize the network in any way, it would just make this issue invisible and maybe stop the annoying questions (and I am not talking about you Draax, its the PMs I get) |

I do not understand why I see consecutive proof of stake with the same value, but this is making the difficulty shoot, and I'm no longer having stacks, all my stacks are failing.   All stacks with the same value belong to a single wallet, maybe that is what is making so many stacks of mine fail and make the difficulty increase a lot Nevacoin is set up to stake a full block which is currently 5 Neva. Make sure you are on the correct chain. You can receive other values when mining in a pool but staking(and solo mining) should only net you 5 Neva a stake. Neva currently has a high orphan rate. Maybe try out poswallet.com if you have trouble solo staking. Things should also improve after the march fork |
