Unfortunately I can not change the discord app at all. But I have tried to keep the commands simple and with enough help avaiable, if you send ".help" as a message then you will see a list of commands you are able to do. However the most important ones are ".balance" ".withdraw" ".deposit" and ".tip" Balance, withdraw and deposit should be obvious and .tip is the command you use for sending OK to others, if you use ".tip" it'll give you a quick explanation on how to use the command.
OkToshi, Shbour, gapjustin...please know anything I say here is not meant to knock anyone down maliciously. I'm just a user who very much wants this to reach greater heights like the rest of you, so I'm offering up my honest thoughts on my experience. Discord seems to be working well for most, which is great. But, for me, it kind of felt like I was watching people play text based computer games in the era of Xbox One and PS4. I hope that's a good enough analogy for what I was trying to convey. I guess I just really want to see OKCash morph into something that is so easy/fun/useful/helpful/etc/etc/etc to use that it attracts the masses. Sometimes as a non-dev, you feel like there's not much more you can do than spread the word, so occasionally I like to share my thoughts/experiences/hopes for the future of this coin too. Speaking of spreading the word, if there is anything us chumps can do to help convince more people to use OKCash, please post your best ideas here to give the rest of us some help. For example, how would you convince someone with no knowledge of it to use OKCash? I loved the idea of printing out certificate looking hard wallets for family gifts, but my family is so non-technical that I feared they would go cross-eyed looking at it/me and asking...what do I do with this? And it's those kind of looks that are the reason why I like to bring up stuff like this. (ie: how to make something near universally usable) Ok, enough outta me. Have a great day, afternoon, night all. Always taken in the best way , is already written down in the user's feedback docs for improvement.

Mobile first is going to be the strategy for mass adoption, and the app that gets people transacting with their friends, without inputting hex addresses is on to a winner.
I absolutely agree. Absolutely agreed, making Okcash easier to use to the average user is one of core values in the Okcash vision, while we continue to work towards this goal, we try and provide different tools for users, as we believe the final decision should be user based on what system fits/works better for them. At this moment you can already do this within OK Discord, you get assigned an Okcash and Bitcoin wallet as soon as you join, from there you just need to deposit some coins and you become able to send any amount of coin you want to another person, without the need of knowing their OK address, you only need to know the name and sent it to him in a form of tip. example: .tip @user 100 Okcash or change the currency to BTC and use the same method. Feel free to join and test it out while meeting some of the community members, you can join with any of this links: https://discord.gg/grvpc8chttps://discord.io/cryptocurrencyhttps://discord.io/btchttps://discord.io/okhttps://discord.io/okcashhttps://discord.io/bitcoin-btc Thanks OKToshi. I think you and the team have done amazing things so far and I have faith you'll bring us all to even greater heights in the future. I'm just trying to throw out ideas or share my thoughts with the hopes of making it better for all and inspiring conversation of what might be possible. I would like to add that while Discord may have that functionality, I would not count the app as something likely to be adopted by an every day user. If a user has to learn syntax, even the simplest of syntax, I think a lot of people would find that overwhelming and just move on. I'm embarrassed to say this, but even I found it confusing with all the commands I saw people typing, and I could never find a help menu to explain what they were doing, so I uninstalled. (to be fair, I'm not into chatting, so that had something to do with it too) What I imagine being adoptable is not .tip @user 100 Okcash, but something as brainless as clicking a button to select an address, typing in an OK amount, clicking a send button, etc. Like, if selecting contacts was as easy as selecting cryptos at ShapeShift, that would be sweet. JMHO. That is all. Thank you for sharing your experience and your feedback is what helps us improve day by day. I get the idea of what you mean now, we will continue to work towards the goal of making it easier for the users, and this is a very nice point to be taken into consideration to achieve this goal.

Can anyone tell if if there is any interesting Okcash protocol developments in the pipeline?
I dont actualy know that, but if you look at github https://github.com/okcashpro the devs are activ Edit: if you look at github you see that they are working on an electrum client, hopefully for android too. There's an Android Core wallet up coming. No release date yet as the devs are busy with other things right now, but it's being worked on in parallel An Android or IOS wallet would be the game changer for Okcash! We are working towards that goal as well, even so: While we agree, there are some mobile solutions already, like Coinomi (Android - Okcash integrated) with electrum technology, https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.coinomi.wallet&hl=enor even the Discord app, where you have your own personal wallet as soon as you join where you can even stake your Okcash, without the need of downloading the ok-blockchain, and sending to another person is as easy as doing a .tip @user Amount . It has apps for Android and IOS, making it possible for you to have your Own OK wallets already on mobile devices, without frying your battery or drinking your ram like every other wallet does OK Discord (with your own personal wallet ready for use) : https://discord.gg/grvpc8cDiscord for android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.discord&hl=enDiscord for IOS: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/discord-chat-for-gamers/id985746746?mt=8So, everyone is able to use Okcash on: PC, Linux, Mac, IoT devices (Raspberry All fams, Pine64 All fams, Banana Pro), Android and IoS Mobile devices already.

Hi All,
I've just joined the happy OKCash HODL-ers team. The wallet gave me a heart attack today when I was withdrawing my coins from Bittrex...
I have downloaded the wallet, it took 2 days to sync. Then I have created a new address (I haven't seen any address in it). Sent my coins to the address, seen the message that there is an incoming transaction... and I have not seen my coins coming in.
Then I have generated another address: PPZodX4DYVw4NEK5ch7fLePBLp1fCeLX3J and now the client after restart shows this address in the upper right corner, with the coins in it. While the block explorer after wallet restart shows my OKCash wallet main address with the coins.
Is this a normal behaviour?
Thanks in advance.
The address at the top right is the lastest address that was generated in the wallet. And the amount shown in balance is the cumulative of all addresses. Have you looked at coin control when you checked the addresses balances, or was it the global Balance? Thanks for the quick response shbour. I have looked at the block explorer with the generated and used address and the transactionID as well, and seen nothing. Also the coins were not in the wallet, neither the main page nor the upper right corner was not showing the coins. What is really interresting is that I have 3 addresses now. I generated the first one (as I have not seen a wallet address there) I gave that a name, and now that named address has a different address and the one named OKWallet has the coins with the address I generated, and named originally such as "first wallet" Select this option in the wallet options page: This will prevent further issues and show your correct balance. Welcome to the community 👌

original thread: https://okcashtalk.org/index.php/topic,2102.0New OK game: OKSlots is currently in open beta and has just joined the discord server! The name should already say enough, OKSlots is a casino-like slots fruitmachine. The bot can only be used in the ok-bots-games-gifs-nonsense channel and direct message to avoid spam in other channels. The slots consist of 3 lines, allowing the player to get up to 5 winlines (3 horizontal and 2 diagonal lines), a short explanation can be found here: I hope that i informed you enough to use the bot, if you have any questions don't hesitate and shoot me a message on discord! To-do: - Add a website with roll stats - Add spinning with higher amounts of OK - Bonus games(?)

Hi,
I was trying to install Rokos Flavor v8 (as I already did with v6), but it is not booting on my Pi3. "...No working init found..." is last line when tryiing to boot. Is there a different setup procedure of the SD card compared to v6? Others have successfully installed v8?
Greetz
Yes V6 goes to the raspberry Pi 3! V8 I'll test the day, I expect a new raspberry Pi 3! How big is your memory card? How do you install the image on the memory card? Do you use software? greetings Robin Probably got the image corrupted while download or while burning it to the microSD. Please try again and make sure the checksum is correct to ensure it's not corrupted. Feel free to join https://discord.io/bitcoin for support over the #ok-btc-rokos channel or over the https://okcashtalk.org forums under ROKOS support section 👌 Yes the image file was corrupt. Now it worked fine... However it looks very different fom v6. Is there a documentation for the initial setup (network, password, language settings, etc.)? Initial setup: http://rokos-flavors.space/rokos_flavors.htmlRest of settings are pretty easy to change from options/settings/system menu.

I am noob in trading. Better way is to sell now Okcash or waiting for higher price What is your predictions? hodl hodl hodl stake stake stake Believe in OKCASH. I'm still holding and staking OK, this is just the beginning, it has too much potential, look at PIVX and see it's price, OK can do much better. Why do you believe OKCash has equal or better potential than PIVX? Just a noob learning. Thanks Okcash does not have the need for masternodes, which add single points of failure to the network, the whole OK network is fair, which means the code/rules are the same for all of the users within the system. For the people by the people. Welcome to the community

BTW the staked coins dont show up on https://chainz.cryptoid.info/ok/ for a few days now. You see the transaction for blockgeneration but you dont see the amount of staked coins. Maybe a dev can have a look in to this problem. 3rd party issue, already being reported to the service. thanks.

A message to Bitcoin Forum Moderator;
I was posting several messages aiming at a specific Non-English audience group (Vietnamese community) for the educational purpose and building awareness of OkCash. The messages got deleted by Bitcoin Forum Moderator because it said they were "off-topic"! The messages were not off-topic because you (Mr. Btc Forum Moderator) didn't understand the languages. Crypto world involves many nationalities and many of those people do not understand English language. If you want this forum to be only for English speaking community please indicate at the top of the forum. Else, please do not delete any non-English messages. That's plain rude! Thank You!
Hi Tim, I don't know who you are referring to as moderator and who deleted those messages, but I could image that you are right with "only-English Thread". Maybe you can just ask the Dev to make a new thread for Vietnamese which you could moderate? By the way isn't BTC illegal in Vietnam This Okcash thread is not moderated, the only ones able to moderate it are the Bitcointalk moderators, hence we can't really know why they did it, other than because of probably forum rules. Feel free to join https://okcashtalk.org the Okcash Forums, where this wouldn't happen Thanks for your support.
Hi Guys, thanks for telling us the solution for the illuminati game, I never had imagine that there are parts hidden in another picture I got two questions and i hope you guys can help me: 1. I got ROKOS 7 installed two weeks ago, can i just update to 8 or do i have to reinstall the OS? 2. Why are the minted coins always a different amount? First block i minted where 4 OKCash, second 1 OKCash and third only .79 OKcash. Many thanks in advance I am holding for the moon 1.) You will need to reinstall 2.) Because the amount of coins that actual staked to mint the coin and the amount of time they aged effect the reward, so its going to constantly change. On average, it will equal 10% yearly interest. Exactly this, and yes, we always recommend to have your wallets backups and chains on USB, so when you Reinstall latest version can continue to work in an easy way while taking the advantages of the upgraded system.
Any idea why okcash wallets likes to go out of sync after 5 or 6 days and start spitting out orphans?
I have to restart it every few days just to make sure this does not happen. I am running latest linux mint and i've downloaded precompiled latest okcash 4.0.0.4 ubuntu x64 wallet. I had same problem with 4.0.0.3 which i compiled myself.
Hmm, my linux wallets run flawlessly usually, always the windows ones that give me trouble. I havn't seen this issue with OKcash wallet. I would recommend going on our Discord and talking with the knowledgable minds there. http://Discord.io/cryptocurrencyWe ve had no problems (nor reports) of this issue over the linux wallets, we have not tested it directly on Linux Mint tho, so It would be really nice if you can just follow the Discord Link to the live chats so we can research further your issue, same way you can post the issue with more details like debug logs over the https://okcashtalk.org forums on its "Staking and Technical Support" section, where it can help other users in the future.
