821  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to invest your bitcoin? on: March 14, 2016, 09:52:19 AM
Well keeping your bitcoin inside you wallet is another form if investment too, after halving peoples says that the price of bitcoin will jump high
But, if you really want to invest then you can trade to alt coins, though it will be hard without any experiences
Or use your bitcoin to start your own venture business, bitcoin casino is still popular around here Wink
Just don't do cloud mining, it's just another form of ponzi scheme
822  Economy / Exchanges / Re: CRYPTSY MAKES DEAL WITH HACKERS TO RETURN STOLEN 13,000 BTC, PAYS 13% FEE on: March 14, 2016, 09:03:02 AM
That hacker is probably Big Vern himself, thinking he can fool us like an idiot Tongue
If i were the "real hacker" I will probably hide that bitcoin to myself, why would I give it back to the original owner
That's like you robbed a house last night and then come back again tomorrow saying "hey, I robbed your house yesterday, i can give your TV back if i can have the PS4 instead"
Bullshit Grin
BigVern is attempting a desperate escape with his last weapon apparently
823  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Microsoft stops accepting Bitcoin in Windows Store on: March 14, 2016, 08:47:44 AM
It's kinda microsoft's fault actually
1. They only accepted Bitcoin Payment from US customers only, how are bitcoin payment gonna be mainstream if they decided to limit who can use it and who cannot use it
2.No advertising, how people (especially those who never heard of bitcoin) Gonna be aware of bitcoin usage in their store if they never put any advertising or some sort, look up at their youtube channel, there are a lot of ads for windows 10 and lumia, but none of this service

I feel like Microsoft just sort of adopt bitcoin just for fun and no serious intention for it Tongue
824  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ATM on: March 14, 2016, 08:26:03 AM
I really wanted to have that kind ATMs here.
I would definitely use them to get some coffee etc.
Well there's a cafe that accepts bitcoin as their payment, i forget where the exact location is but if im not wrong it's located at Bali
You picked your menu and then the waiter will give you a receipt with Bitcoin address QR code for you to scan along with money you need to pay, once you do that the food is delivered and you go back home with a happy face Tongue

I don't really think that there is any use for a Bitcoin ATM. Just buy Bitcoins from an exchange and then sell Bitcoins to that exchange. Easy.
But if you need fiat fast, BTC ATM is a good thing. Bitcoin is still not accepted everywhere now, you still need fiat to buy things on the wet market or such.

Using the exchange took too long if you need instant cash. BTC ATM is useful.
or you know what's faster ?
Using localbitcoins to convert your money instead of exchange if you really need it asap Tongue

Are there any spreadsheets to track our posts during the period ?
Thanks
826  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTC-E TRADING SYSTEM HALTED, WITHDRAWALS NOT WORKING, TROLLBOX PANICKING on: March 13, 2016, 06:30:31 PM
Any update? Have coins left BTC-e wallets?
Another update on their twitter in Russian languages which i translated to English reads as
"Technical Maintenance is almost over. Thank you for your understanding"
Though, that thing was written 4H ago and the site is still on maintenance, i don't know how long the exact time when they said  "Almost Over"
I think it should be back in a few hours though Smiley
827  Other / Archival / Re: Updated Overview of Bitcointalk Signature-Ad Campaigns on: March 13, 2016, 06:22:12 PM
Not many newbies have the change to join a campaign.
I don' know what the main reason can be behind it?

Hope to become a high ranked member soon Cheesy
Because the signature limitations, Newbies can only put a text with no links in it into their signature making an advertising useless
And even if a campaign did accept it i think the payout will be low, it's better to use faucets compared to newbies payouts
And no matter how high ranked you are, you won't get far without a decent quality post so make sure you posts are constructive

828  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Advcash | a new "anonymous" prepaid card [Recharge it with bitcoin] [USD & EUR] on: March 13, 2016, 02:09:35 PM
Hello my Name is Dominik and im from Germany Sorry for my english Sad

I have also the advcash card and i start to use them today (my first debit with the option to load with bitcoins).

And now i have 1500 Euro on my card and can not use them.

And i also can not put the money on my plastic card back in the ADV Wallet

No ATM No Shopping in a Supermarket  and no Shopping anywhere, so i write the support and ask whats happend with my money, no answer.....

I try to call your (Service) number... just ringing and Mailbox

I try to contact via skype ... nobody online.

Can you please tell my

1- why never somebody go on the telefon?

2- why i cant use my money

3- can u please help me to fix the problem

Thanks

First thing you should do is create a ticket, this is how technical issues are resolved, not on the phone, not on Skype. You should be able to move the funds back to the wallet by clicking the card and choosing Withdrawal in the popup. There also are no known problems with the card platform that could prevent your card from working in ATMs and shops, I have used mine several times over the past few days without any problems. We will be glad to assist you with any issues that you may have in the ticket that you create with details on this.

And you forget to answer this questions: the question is WHY

I try to call your (Service) number... just ringing and Mailbox

I try to contact via skype ... nobody online.

Can you please tell my

1- why never somebody go on the phone?  Customer Hotline. +501 223 73 32 From 11:00 to 20:00 GMT
Different time zone, maybe when you give them a call, nobody is there to pick the phone up
Or maybe someone else is currently talking to the customer service
I've been using this and so far so good
Can you try to create ticket?
I think creating ticket is faster than waiting for them to pickup the phone
Also this is a stupid question:
You do try to use the card on ATM machine and shops with Mastercard logo on it right ?
829  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Can not withdraw coins from Btc-e anymore! on: March 13, 2016, 02:05:18 PM
Now the whole site is not working. Getting "Error 502 bad gateway"
Looks one server is receiving invalid response from another server. So yeah maintenance is happening from last 2 hours
Well they says the maintenance is unplanned so i think there is something unplanned happened A.K.A accident on their server
And usually maintenance for something that is unplanned will take a long time Sad
Let's just wait for the updates from their twitter and we should see what really happened there

833  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Rare address hall of fame on: March 13, 2016, 10:07:47 AM
So these are vanity addresses? what's so special about them? You can generate almost any address if you have enough computing bower...
Are you from the future ?
Cause i'm pretty sure you will need a high tech quantum computer to generate any exact address available Grin

Sometimes the message is more subtle.

Code:
5JEQucPSqu7HnGS5fmU1oLs482DzLziao4XegjRtEXQCtY3zzqD
Shorena, what GPU did you use for generating the address and how much Mkey/s did you get for it?
Just curious for it Tongue
834  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 13, 2016, 09:49:58 AM
I heard that banks and the government will start supporting bitcoins which is simply impossible as banks view bitcoin as their competitor and they will never support bitcoins for sure as bitcoin is a major threat to the banking system.
i can not agree with that, i believe that it actually is possible that governments will start adopting the bitcoins if people will leave them no other choice

i heard that bitcoin is the currency of thieves and other crime makers though it is used by people who just buy gadgets legally too
Well good news, Japan will start to adopt bitcoin into their national currency
So After all bitcoin can be adopted by our government too, Grin
though it will mean that bitcoin will starting to get regulated and taxes Sad

On the other side, Russia is starting to ban bitcoin usage
Sad
835  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 BTC = 1000$ in 2016 on: March 13, 2016, 09:38:47 AM
I think Bitcoin price will be arroud 350 to 400 after the halving, now ethereum is getting bigger and bigger.
How is ETH getting bigger and bigger when the one who got the halving is bitcoin Tongue
Anyway, i agree with the guys above me, ETH is most likely a bubble that can burst anytime
And i do believe that the price of BTC will increase after halving, that's why there are many speculators buying bitcoin and increasing it prices Roll Eyes

840  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What "facts" you heard about Bitcoin is not true? on: March 11, 2016, 06:16:58 PM
I though bitcoin transactions were completely free when I first came across bitcoin, later known it cost 0.0001 BTC default fees for each.
Well if you want to, you can always set the fee to zero and get the coin in reasonable time frame if you meet these factors
-It is smaller than 1,000 bytes.
-All outputs are 0.01 BTC or larger.
-Its priority is large enough

And you can still keep the fee to zero even if these factors are not met, but expect a big time to wait until it got confirmed Sad
I guess you are using online wallet right?
