742  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Have access to 12 PCs.. Which currency is best to mine in my case? (CPU MINING) on: April 01, 2016, 09:16:23 AM
There are some altcoins which are profitable for mining with cpu. A little google search will help to give you some alternative to bitcoin.

If electricity is cheaper in your country, then I think you can mine MONERO. The below article may help you.

http://cpucoinlist.com/how-to/cpu-mine-monero-pool/

Also, you can try mining reddcoin or clam as well. But I can't guide you as I have never tried that.
I don't think CLAM is mineable using CPU or GPU
The only way to mine CLAM is to use old bitcoin private keys from pre march 2014 if im not wrong

@OP
You can't mine bitcoin using CPU, you would never gain profit that way
Your best bet is to seek altcoins that accepts cpu mining in acceptable condition
How big is your PSU ?
Mining always taking big chunk of your electricity and you need to make sure you has big enough PSU to accommodate that big electricty
743  Other / Meta / Re: Why all the "uᴉoɔʇᴉq" words are up-side-down? on: April 01, 2016, 09:06:45 AM
Haha, if you say lite coin it says Lightcoin. Try it. uᴉoɔʇᴉq, Lightcoin, Catecoin. Last one there was doge coin Tongue Looks like they added auto correct for all these coins to fix into something silly.
Oh no, the forum is being attacked by hacker again Sad
Everyone save your ID before it got hacked Roll Eyes

On a serious note, i think Bitcoin talk are having a nice april fools Tongue
Enjoy this year's prank who knows when we will see it again
Bitcoin Bitcoin Bitcoin Tongue
744  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I need used keys on: March 31, 2016, 12:30:41 PM
OP shouldn't mask his story with some "research project" most of us do know the existence of CLAM coins Tongue
But AFAIK most of the address for digging clams are already used either by another guy whose looking for it or another clam digger as well Sad
and I'm one of those guy who used it for himself Tongue
P.S you gonna pay us for each address?
745  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Best online wallet? on: March 31, 2016, 12:27:48 PM
https://moneypot.com is the most versatile wallet
Wait, moneypot can be considered as online wallet ?
I thought they were just a group of gambling websites placed into one using their API Huh

Another vote for blockchain, but really having a local wallet is the better option.  I wouldn't trust long term storage on large amounts to any online wallet.
Agree, if you want to store a little bit amount of coins for everyday spending, then online wallet is your choice
though, i wouldn't recommend blockchain wallet for that matter Roll Eyes
Even though i use desktop wallet I gotta say Xapo has a great benefit for online wallet users out there Wink
746  Other / Off-topic / Re: Worst mistake you did with Bitcoin? on: March 31, 2016, 10:56:44 AM
Start gambling. I lost only like 3 dollars but it was still the worst mistake, as I knew that I wouldn't make money but decided to try anyway, since it was earned from faucets.

Lol I bet and lost a few BTC at once before it shot up to $1000.  at least I was less mad when it came back down.
And there you go folks, someone just lost a chance of getting few thousand dollars just from gambling Grin
If I were you i would be mad too, imagine the thing you can do with that Money you lost
I hope you left gambling for good man Tongue

I was a newbie and I trusted a website that was obviously scamming. 2% profit daily? I can't believe I really trusted them  Grin
Luckily I did't put too much money on it...
That's called ponzi scheme, suggest you to stay away from that get rich method, all of them are scams
747  Economy / Services / Re: Ride with Uber/Ola at low cost on: March 30, 2016, 09:26:36 AM
It's now been 10 days for me since I've paid.
8 days since I've received a reply. I wrote another message to them days ago. I see both accounts are signing into this site daily but they aren't providing replies anymore.

What do we do?
well looks like you guys got scammed, 10 days late from promised 72 hours is already a red warning for all of us
The only thing you can do is to ask the escrow to release the fund back to you
or make scam accusation at here

748  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: where did all the high paying signature campaingns gone! on: March 29, 2016, 02:35:23 PM
Yes, i think more companies should be aware of this bitcoin forum and then they invest in signature compaign for the betterment of their product.
Actually, more companies are coming and investing on bitcointalk
Sig campaign is not that popular compared to the one in 2013 or even 2014, most of these companies invested in forum ads instead of Sig campaign
Forum ads may cost more than regular Sig campaign but at least forum ads doesn't spam or breaking the rules Roll Eyes
In fact Sig campaign may cease to exist some day due to bitcointalk advertising popularity, sad but it's the truth Sad
749  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $10 btc loan -- Just gonna buy csgo from g2a with it on: March 29, 2016, 02:27:36 PM
I could easily earn $10 but feeling kind of lazy okay hoping someone can help out.
This is a very small amount so I don't need a collateral lol.
But umm I will pay you back from my ewhore earning tomorrow pretty much like I said this is a small amount so please don't try to bash my thread about anything extra...
Then why don't you be patient and buy csgo tomorrow instead Roll Eyes
It may be small to you but for me and probably the others it's a big amount
No collateral = no loan
red trust = no loan
Simple Wink
750  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best way to sell bitcoins when you don't have any credit card . on: March 29, 2016, 02:22:50 PM
where do you live ?
Im curious since it looks like you are trapped by the government there Tongue

Try to buy cheap stuff using bitcoin and then sell it again to the people in your country, you will exchange your bitcoin to real money that way Tongue
the only bad side about this is that you need to be patient until someones buy your stuff that way

I bought cheap csgo keys using bitcoin and then sell it again to my friends with profit of course Tongue
There's also Steam wallet seller that accepts bitcoin, if you have a friend whose a gamer you can try that method, they will definitely be interested Wink
751  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Bit-X Payout: 1.2 Bitcoins A WEEK on: March 29, 2016, 02:09:35 PM
This translates to about 1.2BTC a week for legendary members. How could this be?
You missing a 0 when reading.

Also, dem thread title...
He probably read 0.008/post instead of 0.0008/post
but still, 0.12 BTC each week solely from signature campaign is really big, though making 150 post each week is a pain and can lead people to spam Sad
752  Economy / Services / Re: [SpectroCoin.com] Signature campaign weekly payout on: March 28, 2016, 01:04:40 PM

It's essential feature are the same, to download and rip courses from Udemy

756  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: To blockchain.info wallet users, Be aware of phishing sites on: March 27, 2016, 03:34:14 PM
I have contacted google about the phising site: http://www.google.com/safebrowsing/static/submit_success.html?hl=en
I hope they will block the site very quick, and remove it from their ads. I entered the fake site, and u can see that now new transactions are appearing, so that is also a way to see it.
Nice of you Wink
Google is usually quick about phishing websites and should be removed any time soon
Though this doesn't change the fact that many phishing website are appearing everyday Sad
Solution for this to not use blockchain wallet so we don't grabbed by blockchain phishing website Tongue
757  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gramatik - Satoshi Nakamoto (feat. Adrian Lau & ProbCause) on: March 27, 2016, 10:58:38 AM
Great song Grin
Im not usually into this genre of song but i will give this one an exception Wink
Would be better if we have the lyrics though

anyone got the lyrics? I got some of the words but most of them are pretty inaudible.

from what I can hear I'd say this song is great.
Can you type the lyrics that you heard ?
Just use [inaudible] for the part you don't understand and maybe other members will try to understand that part Wink

hey yo fuck your shoebox money, we buying [weeds] with crypto currency right now.
[------]. take 'em to the highest point of earth, no need to follow further.
this shit is universal, no time to do rehearsal.
I never take a break, I should've see commercial.
I wasn't raised different, I was made different.

[Any social] with these kids, we don't play with 'em.

[Glass half full], but the bottles left empty.
maybe I'm a gentleman, but [I don't do a charity]

writing incomplete lyrics are embarrassing so I'll stop there. I'm sure I can get most of the rest if I hear enough.  Grin
my favorite parts after the above are "rockets to the moon" and "when you realize you don't know shit the quicker you go rough" .
Edited with some of the part that i managed to hear Grin
The others are free to edit it and expand it since encrypted doesn't finish it Tongue
Good work though Grin

759  Other / Meta / Re: If you want to buy BitcoinTalk, how much would you offer theymos ? on: March 27, 2016, 09:36:16 AM
According to this site: http://www.worthofweb.com/website-value/bitcointalk.org/ bitcointalk is worth 24 million dollars.

Here are some stats, from that site:
Potential revenue per day:
$ 3,780 / day
Potential revenue per month:
$ 113,400 / month
Potential revenue per year:
$ 1,360,800 / year
I don't really trust that website, how do they gather the number of revenue of this makes Grin
If im not wrong this forum lives from it's advertising, and you know how expensive it was

I don't think Theymos would sell this forum, he has more than money in this forum that can't be replaced Wink
But, I will offer Theymos a retirement at a villa in mountain away from the city where He can breath all the fresh air he wants to in exchange for this forum
Tongue
760  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns for newbies. on: March 27, 2016, 08:25:33 AM
777Coin, Bitvest, and Zebpay allow newbies in their campaign.

But earnings are very low. It is not worth the effort to do that.
Well you don't get much as Newbies anyway, so either hold until reach Jr.member or join the low paying campaigns
Newbie's signature are pretty much worthless, no hyperlinks is the main disadvantage of it
If you want more then you need to work hard to reach the higher ranking Smiley
