What is the PoR specified in the ANN?
do the PoW phase ever end?
Was just thinking block 20 sec=50.000 ESP per block=150.000 ESP per minute approximately 60 sec=150.000 esp600=1.500.000 6000=1.500.000.000 60000=15.000.000.000 600000 sec(166.666667 hours=6.9days)=150.000.000.000 espAbout month+ till 50.000ESP per block POW will be over. If it success to resist GPU all the time its good I could be wrong but 3,750,000 blocks shouldn't mine out until after around 868 days

PoW phase does end on block 3,750,000 or at 313Billion at which point it will only pay network fees to PoW Proof of reliability will have awhite paper explaining its functionality soon. We are still drawing up the details so please bear with us

Why so many coins? TOP 100 shows 500 millions each address...
Please explain. This may be aviewable decimal issue. I'll Contact ctgiant Ohh. I paid a 0.1 ESP fee once. thats why is 125777650000. 9 is total ESP... where did it went. thought someone will get it in with a block Actually the .9 at the end was part of the start blocks. It never rolled over to equal 1.0 due to a minor oversight on the start block count within the source. I can show you in the source what I'm talking about if needed

When I delete everything and restart my pc I can install the wallet and run it but it will not connect. I add the all the nodes to the conf file when I restart the wallet it gives me a C++Runtime error and wallet fails to even start up. And tips would be appreciated. TIA
Check the config file for strange characters in the addnode section and make sure there isn't anything strange. I've had wallets crash due to an apostrophe in the naddnode section before

Or is daemon successfully resisting external miner Our intent was a fair mining phase for PoW. So far so good.

Guys check it. I can't launch nodes fast enough. You all rock for supporting us like this.

Thanks to Espers, I was able to detect some weird malware on my system. I think. Anyway, it's non critical so I got rid of it.
I was getting slow hash speeds because the other process was doing something, or it wasn't doing what it was supposed to do properly. Anyway, I killed that process and now I'm hashing at 100% speeds.
I still don't know what I killed, but I just knew it wasn't supposed to be there.
(It's on a server host that is running a VM, so its not a big deal, I can just erase it later.)
That's awesome!!!

See this is exactly why we made it the way we did. Cpu and everyone can have fun and participate! Thank you for being a shining example of this.

Doesn't matter. Bad launch ever. No nodes in wallet, premined from team at beginning,no gpu miner.
Feel free to create a GPU miner. We haven't and don't plan on it, we want this to remain CPU only for a while. Yeah, premine......the premine which we are giving away. Hardcoded nodes will be on the next release. Any more FUD??? Seriously all the 5 year olds may exit stage left with your dignity. News update to all: auto updater coming soon, hard coded nodes as well. Stand by for development! Should see this in the next few hours.

How are the giveaway participants going to receive their coins?
They will be asked to provide their addy upon the end of the give away period

Go sit on a cactus with your fud throwing. Clearly you've missed the entire intention of the project and cannot read THIS WAS DESIGNED TO BE A CPU ONLY COIN!!!! These coins are to be used as fuel for the chain and the more fuel people have the wider spread the use will be hence your "premine". some Features will use small amounts to power them. Think of this as a machine not a coin. The end goal is not so narrow minded as you've made it out to be

I set up a block explorer for now until CryptoCoderz finds it a full time home. esp.miningalts.com or you can get to it from the homepage at miningalts.com. Way too many coins!
500 billion ESP @ 1 satoshi = $2 million market cap
This is why they have to give away 100 billion ESP. Nobody will pay 1 satoshi. Let me make something clear. We don't have to give anything away. You don't like the project? Don't get involved. We are conducting the give away to allow everyone to get in on it. If you are that sort minded that all you see the pitfall of a coin that really isn't even that high of a count then please. GO ELSEWHERE. This isn't designed to be a huge value right now. It's designed to provide new features and functionality. We understand you'd like to raise your post count here but trolling this project is really a piss poor idea.

Way too many coins!
500 billion ESP @ 1 satoshi = $2 million market cap
That's roughly 65 ESP for every man/woman & child on the entire earth. Maybe they are shooting for worldwide acceptance. This has already been addressed at lest ten times already. Please refrain from posting fud, is really not appreciated. Again This is for usability, who the he'll wants to send around fractions of coins?? I don't want to have to do math personally and pay you 0.0124 for coffee for example with lower count. anyone else having trouble getting wallet to work? What exactly is the situation your experiencing? We will assist

Will participate in the giveaway and watch.I'm not sure is worth mining.
Great! Looking forward to adding you to the list! As for whether it's worth mining... meh to cpu or not to cpu that is the question. Personally we aren't mining, difficulty is pretty high atm.

Maybe someone can compile this for 64bit windows? Thanks Might be stuck asking ocminer, the built-in miner works for both why so many coins? this is bad it will price the value in a very low level, because it's very easy too mine few millions here, also causing huge inflation early, not good at all
Why so many coins? For sheer usability, think about it... 500 Billion isn't enough! If even a fraction of the crypto community actually embraces this project as they seem to have already because we aren't yanking people's chains (figure of speech) then there almost wont be enough to go around, Also where are you getting this "millions" figure from? 50K a block is not equal to millions...

|
i wanted to know, how good your integrated miner is. at the moment i find enough solo-blocks with the integrated miner. but if ocminers is maybe a little faster, i would point his to the wallet.
Ah, well that question would definitely best be directed to ocminer as we used the built-in miner and now aren't mining at all. In fact most of us are hitting the sack, been up for 48 hours for this launch. See everyone in a few hours.

can anybody tell, what hashrate ocminers miner achieves with his cpu? the integrated miner achieves 65KH with an i7-4770, slightly overclocked.
If it's any consolation a Core i5 achieves roughly ~20KH
