As it's been stated quite frequently, the market will find it's place when the core features are completed. Right now it's still young and "scary" for most people to get involved and we really haven't been running marketing campaigns. Things can always improve.



That's an interesting idea, be sure to suggest it in the meetings for what to do with the community fund.

That's pretty much what's going to happen, though instead of a Dev fund it will go to a Community Fund instead. There will be weekly meetings held that will be open to any community member to join and put their 2 cents in about what promotions, events, giveaways and such should be conducted as well as the details of the events.

The amount going to the Community Fund will be publicly announced at the end of swap when the Original client for the new Espers chain is finally locked until community decided use

The only thing not quite out yet is the built feature. We finished 90% of the functionality of it, but wanted to take some extra time on it. It still will go through revisions just like any feature but it should be much more convenient than manually setting up a miner.

Just as a heads up the built in miner functionality will currently work for Linux and Windows, currently still working on a Mac solution.



Actually quite a lot has gone on in just half a year. Yes the bigger goals are still pending but we believe will be worth the wait.

Well coming very soon, just like the end of the swap, is the built-in mining for the client as well as a bootstrap system for the client that will allow the user to intuitively download the chain from the get-go and enjoy a low sync time.

This is not to diminish from the bigger mailing and site on chain features but some things are needed to set the groundwork for those features.

We've just been working through a few things that actually don't pertain to the mining system. It is releasing soon. We're not joking about that.

We are regret to inform all of you here that due to absolutely no sign ups for any of the services offered through Catlin Computer Solutions, they have come to the conclusion that crypto is not a profitable venture  and are therefore no longer offer cloud storage, hosting and other services for ESP.

In light of this we will be switching over to providing these services in house directly for ESP and others with our own servers. More news on this later

Integrated mining will be the focus over the next two days. We'll keep you posted on the development of the integrated mining and post some screenshots

Client Runner is only for the new chain, the old ESP1 chain doesn't have that feature and you're previously posted client output show v0.8.0.5 which is ESP1.
Again please PM us if you'd like remote support. Or you'll need to be using EITHER ESP1 or ESP2. You cannot mix the clients and their directories. If you did then that's why your getting errors.
ESP1 has an installer for Windows but no client launcher, ESP2 has a client launcher / management tool.

So you're in the client install directory but not the client data directory. You need to go to your C:\users\YOURUSERNAME\appdata\roaming\Espers   folder. If you've specified a custom location then go to that folder but it needs to be the client data folder for ESP1 not the client installation folder, you should never have to deal with the installation folder.

Also, you can use the ESP1 utility to one-click backup your dat file. It's in the first post of this ANN.

If you're running the client from a manually specified location just go to that folder then and make a copy of your wallet.dat file

Edit: If you'd like PM us and we can skype or something. I believe something is getting lost in translation here.

If you read the post I explained how to backup and recreate the folder which will solve your issue. Just go to the Espers directory mentioned and copy your wallet.dat file before deleting and recreating the folder.

EDIT: You can also use the Espers utility for your Espers1 client issues (it will let you rebuild your installation)

Okay so you're running windows from your edited post and you're running the ESP1 client. Please backup your wallet.dat file from your "C:\users\yourusername\appdata\roaming\Espers" then delete and recreate the folder (you can put your wallet.dat back in your directory after you've recreated it) then relaunch the client.

Let us know if you have any issues.

You misunderstand, what is YOUR system's operating system, are you running Windows, Linux, Mac? and What version did you download of the client?
