Thx alot monoxide for helping me get my wallet sync now i can mine to the milliions  mate can you share it me so i can mine too? if its possible to provide all details I'm just new to mining not very familiar with the coding and set up tnx. With the latest version it's easy! Open it and click "Start Mining" and off you go! If you'd like to stop mining just simply press the button again and it will stop the mining. Problem with ElonGale was connections. He had Settings->Options->network->connect Through SOCKS proxy enabled. After he disabled it wallet started to sync. HUH! We will make sure that is turned off, have no idea why it would be on considering we do not use that system ourselves although it is available in the client. I don't know if he enabled it by mistake or did it went on automatically, since i had it disabled all the time. But good thing you take a look at it. DAMN! i love the way you work and fix problems. you don't see that too often in crypto. There is little to no point in running a project if the people running it are not willing to accept feedback from the community and its users in order to improve both the operation of the system and end-user usability. We thank YOU for pointing things out we miss so we may provide a better functioning system. We do strive to be the best after all. |

Is the wallet miner as effective as mining to supernova pool?
Users have reported that they found it more effective to solo mine as the payout is considerably larger, however with a Pool like ocminer's you will receive smaller amounts of coins more often. For me the payout from the (Supernova) pool is about the same, maybe slightly more than the wallet's internal miner. Maybe because the hashrate from the external miner is about 15-20% faster than the internal miner according to "hashespersec" I did not try the other pool (Maxminer) yet but will do so too The network is definitely very active, also with the auto-updater installable version we will include the external miner built in, that way you receive the extra performance boost. (Hence the delay of its release) Soloming has slowed down the past couple days for me, might be almost time to switch to a pool Multiple options are available, all are great methods. |

How i can know if wallet are mining or not? ( in before wait to find a block)
v0.8.0.1 starts mining immediately once the mining button has been pressed.Here are some screenshots (including a shot directly from the code that shows the function being set to TRUE.) Thank you for pointing out that the console doesn't reflect the "TRUE" setting when the mining button is pressed we will look into that however we assure you the wallet is mining and it is mining to YOUR wallet.    |

Ys we have POW and POS but what differentiates it from the rest? however to give you an idea it will be like PoS in the sense that all you need to do is leave your wallet online and connected. Depending on the number of connections you have will determine how many coins (as a base number) you will receive per block for supporting the network and keeping your client online. To prevent network abuse or users running 100 virtualized or local machines to attempt to generate a massive about per block the nodes will be used as controlling connections (or limiters) as to keep connecting clients inline. In a sense if you have 1200 connections and the nodes which connect to ALL client only see 500, because you are trying to generate more coins than a client should be, the nodes will reject the client's ability to receive a payout do to network abuse (in an effort to keep the system from being exploited). Additionally the ballance you hold will act a multiplier against the base amount you would receive from the number of connections you have. In otherwords this is a system that pays you for supporting the network without the biased of bagholders and whales to affect the system. anyone know the price forecast? thx

One more question where is reward halving ?
I read source only see after block 3750000 reward will be 0.005 ?
From now on to block 3,750,000 reward stay same 50,000 ?
If not what halving phrase please ?

I believe you are talking about orphan blocks, this happens with every blockchain currently available. Detached or Orphaned blocks are valid blocks which are not part of the main chain. They can occur naturally when two miners produce blocks at similar times. Wow allways learning! At length we have released the update which features a few improvements over the original. These include, hardcoded nodes (no more connection issues ), updated checkpoints, In wallet Push-2-Mine button (hashrate can be observed by entering "getmininginfo" into the console). Curretly the STANDALONE version is now available with this latest update, the Installable auto-updating client will be released shortly to follow up on this update. |
