Hi all,
Can you explain?
Thanks in advance.
For my understanding, Coin describes the clones created like Bitcoin, example is Ethereum, ZCash, Monero. Those coins can be mined as well like Bitcoin. Token are given to those who participates on projects that needs funding, example is SNC or SunContract project, if you contribute 1 Ethereum when the ICO is still on-going they will give you at least 11,000 SNC tokens. Anyone want to correct me on this because I maybe wrong.

Just caught this guy copy pasting. I'm on my phone and can't copy the original source easily, but you can verify that it's from a google book or some such thing. I caught another one right after this too. These people are morons. Not all investors want to take on the risk that comes with making a killing through stocks. Some people just want to invest in the stock market as a means of providing a steady income. They don’t need stock values to go through the ceiling. Instead, they need stocks that perform well consistently. If your purpose for investing in stocks is to create income, you need to choose stocks that pay dividends. Dividends are typically paid quarterly to stockholders on record as of specific dates. How do you know if the dividend you’re being paid is higher (or lower) than other vehicles (such as bonds)? THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN DIVIDENDS AND INTEREST Don’t confuse dividends with interest. Most people are familiar with interest because that’s how you grow your money over the years in the bank. The important difference is that interest is paid to creditors, and dividends are paid to owners (meaning shareholders — and if you own stock, you’re a shareholder because shares of stock represent ownership in a publicly traded company). When you buy stock, you buy a piece of that company. When you put money in a bank (or when you buy bonds), you basically loan your money. You become a creditor, and the bank or bond issuer is the debtor; as such, it must eventually pay your money back to you with interest.

Everyone wants cash flowing in everyday but its possible if you have your own business and if you plan to accomplish that in trading, then you have to have a lot of time in staring at your PC monitoring your investment if you reached your goal for the day or not. Day trading is good way of earning money but with the volatility if Altcoins and BTC, whales manipulation and fake news around, its hard nowadays to be a day trader. Just like what I advice to those who plans to be a day trader, set aside a fund for day trading and set aside a fund for long term investment and dont put all your eggs in 1 basket, I hope you know what I mean.

Using Bitcoin will definitely help in increasing its value because more people would like to get a hold of it. Example is LGD token, which is used the LegendsRoom which is a bar in Vegas, this token increases its value every time there's an event in Vegas (boxing or MMA) because people buy this token as it will be used in the LegendsRoom. There's a demand, and when there's a demand it will dictate the value of a product.

I started out as a day trader but eventually I turned into mid and sometimes holding coins longer than I plan because there are times after I buy the altcoin and plan to sell at 5% profit, the price go down and didn't go back to at least give me a small profit, so instead of selling it within the day, I'll hold it till I earn at least a profit. if you plan to be a day trader, don't invest in 1 coin only because if you are trapped with 1 coin, then you need to wait until you earned something from it. It better if you set a side funds for day trading and for long term trading. Lastly learn to observe first and research about the coin before you buy.

Current rate of BTC to USD for $40 is 0.009255BTC, now if you want to earn 0.009255BTC per day, you need to multi task, what I mean is don't focus on just one project. without back reading, I would guess most of the suggestion that was coined out is join signature campaign, but don't just focus on that, because you can earn more by doing other tasks like research, web design, you can also monetize you twitter or Facebook account account if you have one.

Hi everyone. I'm really taking out time to look at the Loan section. Can a junior member get a loan? What limits of loan can such a member get assuming the junior member account is the collateral? Finally, I saw some lenders ask for signed message, what's signed message? Thank you.
You can still ask for a loan in this forum if you have a valid collateral with 120% value from your borrowed amount. Collateral like Altcoins are accepted. Accounts nowadays are not that accepted unlike before and thanks to those account farmers out there who created a lot of accounts and flooded the marketplace bringing down the value of accounts here. Regarding signing a message heres a link on how to sign a message https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.0Stake your BTC address here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=996318.msg10820715#msg10820715But make sure that the address that you will stake is the one that you hold the private key, dont use those that are provided by exchanges and gambling sites, because you cant sign a message from the address that they provide.

I just want to know how you feel when you get a big win from the gambling you play, I know that feel is definitely fun. But, do you feel or ever assume you are a gambling expert after you get a big win? Then what kind of gambling has made you think of yourself as a gambling expert?
I would rather consider myself as a noob in gambling than consider my self as an expert. I will let the others observe how I play and let them judge me if I am an expert based on their observation. Its like me being conceited as I say I can do this and that or I am better than you or him. I would let my actions speak for what I am.

If you are new to Bitcoin, then today is a good day to buy rather then tomorrow when the price may go up further, but if you are willing to wait, then wait for the time when there's so much negativity around or FUD like what happened a few weeks ago, that's the time when people are dumping Bitcoins due to panic, that's a good time to buy and take advantage of the situation.

Hello to everyone! Thanks for reading my thread. Any tips and advice will be appreciated.
I have 0.5BTC and I'm not going to invest them in some risky moola because I think that in 2030 Bitcoin's price will be almost 500.000€/BTC. I've read that trading with Altcoins can be a good strategy of investing to make more capital and hold.
But I'm completely new in this world.
1) What should I start? 2) Which platform should I use? 3) How can I analyze the Altcoins? 4) Auto or Manual? 5) From 1-10 how much is risks in trading Altcoins?
Thanks for your answer. If you have any other tips, suggestion, its highly appreciated.
0.5 BTC is good amount to start trading, just be sure that this is not your life savings or this is not something that you and your partner saved for a special occasion. Better yet, use your spare money or what other calls as money that you can dispose that if you lose, you can still sleep well at night. I hope you get what I'm trying to say. 1) What should I start? - Learn to read charts, candle sticks and how to use bollinger bands. 2) Which platform should I use? - Depends on what coin or token you plan to trade, there are coin or token that are not available in other platform, but start with Bittrex and Poloniex. 3) How can I analyze the Altcoins? Check my answer with #1. 4) Auto or Manual? - Manual. Go auto if you will have no access with internet for a long time and learn how to use stop loss. 5) From 1-10 how much is risks in trading Altcoins? 1 to 10 with 10 as the higher, 8. You can earn $1,000 today but you can lose that in less than a day because of wrong decision of following your emotion.

I would just like to hear your opinions, Which is more profitable, Day Trading where you can profit through buying the dips and selling when it pumps repeatedly, or Long term HODLing where you buy the dip and only sell it when it goes up 5 to 10 times its price value?
Both can help you earn profits but both have its advantages and disadvantages. For day trader, you need to closely monitor the price of your investment and sell at the right moment with hit your goal for the day. Next day day, buy again and repeat. Imagine if the coin you sold for that day pumped it way up 80% more after you sell, but you cant do anything about it anymore since you already sold your coin. Hodling, is good and you dont need to be in front of your PC waiting for the right time to sell but there are other opportunities out there that you are missing because you are stuck with a coin that you are hodling. So basically it depends on ones trading style.

Its possible but it'll be on November I think, not before as there is an upcoming event that may increase buying gadgets online which is Cyber Monday and it falls under November 27 of this year. However, minus the FUD and those fake news BTC should have reached $5,000 USD a few weeks ago. Thanks to China's decision to ban Bitcoin and ICOs.

As many of you know the market is totally manipulated by the big players, they can make everything they want with price of some cryptos
My question is: How can you beat the whales, or ''go with them'' while you are day trading or swing-trading?
Example : I see a big order (in the order book) of 15 k bitcoin for a huge buy at (X) price.... now it can be a good support, or a whales's trick to let believe the weak hands that there is a big support and forcing them to buy at higher prices...then the whale deletes the order and collect profit of price increase.
Now my question is: How do you deal with this? How can you day trading knowing this ''trick''?
How do you behave when you see a big order in the orderbook?
Whales are here to stay and we cant do anything about it, even exchanges cant do anything since its not regulated. What I do is look for a token or coin that has not moved for a few days and check the price if its the lowest for the past few days. A whale will pump that coin eventually and when that happen you already positioned yourself for the ride. As what they always say, don't chase the pump, look for those that have great potential.

i would rather use my Bitcoin in buying Alts than buying mining contract on those cloud mining sites. Its a long road to reach ROI if you buy mining contracts while if you invest in Alts with due diligence you earn back your investment in a few months or maybe less. Those cloud mining sites are the one earning a lot while their clients earn pennies.

No need to scam people to multiply your Bitcoin. Just be patient and if you trade, trade with what you have, carefully select what coin to invest and set a target on when to exit. Control your greed, that's one reason why traders fail to get profits because when they see that they are gaining profits, instead of selling they hold longer thinking of gaining profits.
