1041  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ransom paid using Bitcoin on: November 09, 2015, 03:45:10 PM
I think their biggest mistake was to pay the ransom to someone who was abusing your servers by DDoSing them. I'm sure there would be cyber crime agencies that could have helped them track them down. Also, a lot of ddos protection services available online who could have helped them mitigate the attack.

how did they know that they are paying the right group who attacked them and how did they know that the BTC address is for the attackers
1042  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: binary trading bitcoin on: November 09, 2015, 03:32:00 PM
secondstrade works like binary trading since all you need to do is select if it's up or down, but honestly it also works like a dice game, just choose if it's below 49 or over 50
1043  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN IS BETTER THAN WESTERN UNION ? on: November 09, 2015, 03:21:48 PM
If I we're to choose between fee's to pay between Western Union and sending Bitcoins, I'll go for Bitcoins since fees are so minimal, while in terms of accessibility, I'll go for Wester Union, maybe thats the reason why we are paying high fees with those remittance companies like WU.
1044  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Ransom paid using Bitcoin on: November 09, 2015, 03:19:04 PM
I wonder if that transaction ID for the payment is still exist or can be found, since I doubt that this maybe just a publicity stunt that they we're attacked so they can make news and publicity for free.
1045  Economy / Economics / Re: How to save money. on: November 09, 2015, 10:02:37 AM
A lot of people when they recieve thier salary the first time they do is

Salary-expensive=SAVE or SAVING

What about this formula

Salary-SAVING= expensive
If you use this fomula you can save money.

that's great formula if your salary is huge enough to take away "Savings" first then whatever is left is for your "Expenses" or daily living allowance not advisable for those who just make both ends meet.
1046  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.0057 BTC short of paying bill on: November 09, 2015, 09:46:22 AM
just go to services section or games and rounds section and you might get lucky to get rewarded with that amount you are asking instead of asking for such a small amount of loan.
1047  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How is escrow safe? on: November 09, 2015, 09:43:39 AM
Hello. I keep reading that members should use escrow when using paypal.  What stops buyer from a chargeback against the escrow and then escrow charge back against seller? I am looking to sell via paypal but do not want to risk chargeback. Virowox seems expensive to use although it is safe.

Even if you use an escrow for a Paypal deal, transaction can go sour since Paypal charge back can be filed up to 180 days from date of transaction if i'm not mistaken, unless escrows will release the item purchased using Paypal after the 180 day timeframe
1048  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: This what happen when you sell bitcoin for Paypal on: November 09, 2015, 09:18:42 AM
You just need to be selective in Bitcoins for Paypal deal, I've seen several users here with successful feedback due to a successful transaction for Bitcoin for Paypal. No offense to the newbies but never trust those ranks for Paypal.
1049  Economy / Goods / Re: WTB anonymous ATM card for BTC on: November 09, 2015, 09:12:00 AM

Looks like the bot isn't working... My stats aren't showing up, and I tried inputting a couple other user ID's in the campaign as well and nothing shows up when searching for them. Is anybody else having similar issues?

here's what I see when I try to enter your BCT UID, si looks like you are enrolled properly and got paid as well

1052  Economy / Speculation / Re: MMM ponzi effects? on: November 07, 2015, 11:52:01 AM
it's not only in China that MMM is expanding, Philippines also have a lot of MMM followers, they even have this physical branch now in different places.

MMM will go down sooner or later.
I only hope Bitcoin's price does not plunge along with it.

The sooner the better, so that those MMM evangelist will wake up in reality that what they are preaching is nothing but ponzi

1055  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000 $ on Friday 6-11-2015 on: November 07, 2015, 11:30:52 AM
$1,000 is far from what we have now which is $388, but it's a week end and some even calls this days weak end because rate is down or weak

Just join and enjoy by posting in every thread you like. The signature campaign has no limit except post count.
Nope,
I think off topic, meta, Politics & Society, Beginners & Help,Archival  secondstrade doesn't count it

This correct Ninjaskills. There are not counted in those sub sections on this forum.

those sections are not really counted but what Battareus  is saying "no limit" is the participants, unlike other campaigns, there's a limit of participants for each rank, while here "no limit".
1058  Economy / Auctions / Re: (WTS) Bitcointalk This Account Full Member on: November 06, 2015, 07:46:44 AM
Try to scan all the accounts for sale here in this section and see if anyone is selling his actual account and not using a newbie account or another account.
1059  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Do you still really use faucet? on: November 06, 2015, 07:23:41 AM
I guess everyone started with faucets then turned their back because they realized it eats a lot of time and you need to exert a lot of effort for a few satoshis unless you can stick with doing faucets because you have a lot of referrals.
1060  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1000 $ on Friday 6-11-2015 on: November 06, 2015, 05:24:48 AM
its going to the opposite direction  Grin but we still have a few hours to go before we can call it a day for November 06. As of this moment it's $357, planing to buy some because I feel a sudden increase by end of day. Just a hunch.
