883  Other / Meta / Moderator for Philippines Sub-Section on: January 25, 2016, 07:32:46 AM
Since Philippines now have it's own sub-section, maybe it's about time to discuss who will be the best person who will act as Moderator for that section to make sure everything is running smooth on that side of the world. So lets try to drop some name's please and see why he/she is fit for that role.

I'll start with Dabs

He is here for quite some time now and very knowledgeable about the hows and why's of Bitcoin. He is a trusted guy and never heard of anything negative about him.
884  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: need 0.011btc pay with skrill on: January 25, 2016, 07:21:07 AM
can someone sell me 0.011btc , I will pay 4.40eur with skrill.

if you are full member or higher I can send first otherwise coins first then I pay after confirmation.

Do you have any trade history here in this section? If yes try to deal with the same person again if deal was successful, but if none yet, there's a slim chance of getting what you wan't.
885  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Minute BTC legit? on: January 24, 2016, 07:51:33 AM
The interest is too good to be true. No Bank can offer such interest so it also follows that this site will just take everyones investment and run away. This scheme will not even last a few weeks.
886  Economy / Economics / Re: If everyone used GOLD instead of paper money like the sheep we are and just igno on: January 24, 2016, 07:39:46 AM
I think this was the old practice in trading. Gold bars, silver amd other precious metals and minerals we're used but as time goes by we cant always walk around with gold and silver in our pockets, so i think for convinience purposes coins and paper money was invented.
887  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: what is bitmixer? on: January 23, 2016, 05:26:17 PM
I think this is wrong section but, to answer you, bitmixer code is the code that you can take note so next time you use bitmixer, just enter the code (usually 5 letters in upper and lower case) and coins that will be sent to you is not part of the previous coins you sent to bitmixer for mixing.
888  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph discussion thread on: January 23, 2016, 05:21:26 PM

Cheesy

depende yun kung ilan percent makuha ng party list, ang pagkakaalam ko 2% or 3% at kapag nkakuha sila for example 4% or 6% pwede sa knila 2 representative sa congress

up to 3 ang representatives nila sa congress, so it means 2% na vote, 1 reprentative, and another 2% isa ulit and if it reaches 6%, tatlo na ang magiging representatives nila.

891  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Betting on the Oscars on: January 21, 2016, 02:36:56 AM
This is nice, directbet is taking bets for Oscars I hope thus not going to be just a one time offering but everytime there is Oscars.

It looks like Leonardo is the heavy favorite this year.
892  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: January 21, 2016, 02:30:26 AM
That was a big jump from yesterdays $370 USD to todays $420 USD. It really pays to hold, wait and be patient. Although I converted a few coins for personal use, I still have a few left that earned over night due to the recent climb of rates.
893  Other / Politics & Society / Re: ISIS fighters get a 50% pay cut on: January 21, 2016, 02:23:00 AM
I dont have any idea on who is fuding ISIS but im not going to be surprised if they are big companies related or have a a subsidiary related to arms and ammunition... to keep the business going.
894  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do people use so many Bitcoin wallets? on: January 20, 2016, 01:50:29 AM
Using different bitcoin wallets is somehow  a good preventive measure to minimize the loss, at least. Scaterred funds are much better than putting all of them in a single knapsack.

Another thing is the wallet feature of each kind of wallet that will depend on user's interest.
Yes I agree, not all Bitcoin wallets have same function or features. In my case I use 3 wallets, 1 when I'm on the move which is downloaded in my smart phone, 1 to withdraw or convert my BTC to fiat and 1 at home.
895  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling My Lifetime Bitcoin Mining Contract: 26.5200 TH/s on: January 20, 2016, 01:20:59 AM
Man, I can't even find on their website where they say what their cost for electricity is?  How are you supposed to find out how profitable the equipment is if you can't even do a proper evaluation.  I think it said to login to find the current maintenance fee, but I made an account and still can't find it.
Looks like it was not really mentioned but it is going to be covered in the maintenance

"2. Remuneration
As a consideration for the Services the Customer agrees to pay to the Service Provider an amount of (the "Fee"):
a. 0.449 USD per GH/s upfront
b. USD 0.00079 per GH/s and day, deducted on a daily basis* from the generated Coins"

This is found in the terms of agreement when you upgrade for hash power.

EDIT: I don't think there's no need to high light or mention "Lifetime Contract" since contracts of Genesis Mining are now lifetime.
896  Local / Pamilihan / Re: coins.ph discussion thread on: January 19, 2016, 04:34:06 PM
897  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Btc price on: January 19, 2016, 05:22:57 AM

898  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: Ore-Mine Issue? on: January 19, 2016, 02:22:09 AM
Don't kill Sector before payments please.
Regardless if Sector is alive and kicking, if he don't want to pay ore-mine's investor's it's up to him. Ore-mine's investor's holds nothing to compel Sector to pay up, unlike other issues in this forum where a number of people hold's some dox that can make someone change their mind if they plan to scam.
899  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WTF? "buying old used bitcoin private keys for $2 each" on: January 19, 2016, 01:54:23 AM
What is the exchange rate between ClamCoin and Bitcoin?
Looking at Poloniex, 1 Clam = 0.00246809BTC. I have a few Clams idle in Poloniex account and it has been stable for quite some time, for me Clam is a great investment unlike other alt coins out there.
This is not true. CLAM is horribly centralized with one person (with a history of endorsing scams, and a very sketchy past) controls over 7% of the clams in circulation, plus an unknown additional amount in other addresses. Taking into account that most of the addresses in circulation are probably not attempting to stake, there is a very high chance that any block found will be found/mined by that one person.

This means that any transaction involving CLAMs can potentially be reversed even several days (or longer) after it has been initially confirmed.

Hey thanks QS for clarifying that. I am not aware of that one. All I do to collect Clams is buy and hold in Poloniex, never used it with any transaction yet or sell it anyone yet.
900  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Pilipinas (Philippines) on: January 19, 2016, 01:47:40 AM
