Solana tokens are one of the recent most performing coins because they have been seen on a fast rising track and those that have invested in them earlier before their launch are making a huge profit from such, we must not nevertheless fail in making the necessary research in those projects and the new ones they may as well b e introducing to the network and the crypto community.

I just don't get it. What puts such a intense hype on meme coins?
What is the use case scenario for all this? I see a very interesting SOL project listing all these new Memecoins like Slothana or Dogwifhat
and just dont get the actual use case for it? I mean, dont we have enough memecoins on the market already with DOGECOIN or SHIBA INU?
I hope someone can help me to unterstand this 

Well, that massive trend is actually what makes it sell. It’s the hype that brings the trend, and many people pick interest in it based on historical events with other meme tokens. The truth is that no matter how it’s placed, there will always be people who are willing to spend a lot of money (that they wouldn’t spend in top altcoins) just to bag more of a meme coin.

The you will have to stop dealing with memecoins and rather put your investment in normal altcoins (there’s more confidence there), but in those ones that have promising future. You can figure that out by digging deep to know how their tokenomics is, what the token is used for, and what the demand and popularity is like. But it isn’t that easy to find one that simply works and is fruitful.

It is important to beware of meme coin's hype as it has the potential not only to rise in value within a short period, but also to fall in value within a short time. The hype in most cases can only sustain the meme coins value only for a while. The next unfortunate thing is the sudden collapse of the meme coins value - leaving unsuspecting investors at a huge loss. This usually happens due to greed on the part of investors because they want to get rich fast. Most  meme coins project owners cash in on this 'weakness' on the part of investors. Investors especially newbies should be very cautious when you plan to invest on meme coins. 

I've been buying Bitcoin since last year when it dipped in December i know it's not long. Since then I have held my bitcoin firmly regardless of the price increase this year I still decided to sit on it. Although I do not have enough Bitcoin because I have little money then if I were to sell my holdings now I would have 3 times of I invested.

To the recognize a good project then you should looking of there, community, partnership, exchange announced confirmed information should be collected. They should also know about the power of private sales. According to me there are many best ido projects at this time where you will really benefit from investing. But rather than buying tokens from ico with risk, the best way is to buy tokens from a good project from an ido organization. They want to get into crypto with integrity so they will actually be the best profiteers.

You're right on point @dimonstration, investors buying bitcoin at a higher price when the market hasn't spiked at its ATH are Investors who has expected more increase in the market probably hoping to make interest at the upcoming bull run at the seasonal circle. So they're of no fools but investors so also understands the logic in the market trends.

I also think this price drop may present a good buying opportunity for someone looking to DCAing and I'm also looking to buy more BTC especially since BTC's price is low and there's zero fees on Bitget. Of course, as with any investment, only put in what you can afford to lose. 

So, even if it dips further short-term, history tells us Bitcoin tends to go up in the long run.

     It may be a younger system for now in Solana, but it cannot be denied that the potential for us to get profit under the Sol network is higher compared to Erc20. And that's also why I see that more communities are hyped about the trend we see now in the market.

    With Ethereum, yes, it was first, and there was something proven in the market, so in this case, ETH would be okay, but it's just having a problem with the fee, while with SOL it's not.

ETH is still indeed a good project, but the problem with its network remains the big concern to many.
Time will come that SOL will take over ETH especially if they can’t solve the problem about the slower network and  dealing with a higher fees.

Though the hype is still with ETH, but SOL is catching up and seriously with this two top altcoins competing for the top spot, I believe everyone of us here will benefit and let’s just see who will ended up on time in this bull market.

It was a supper good for those that invested in that project last two years ago when the price was low at a point, some people thought the project will no longer bring some thing good to their customers but it was a good moved seen the project causes their customers to smile with good profits in this season.

Since the improvement is there for the team behind the XRP are working day and night to ensure they create more momentum that will make others people to know that the team are capable to make the altcoin to move to another next level.

Mate, Sui isn't only platform where scammers use it to fruad, scam people. Scammers are in every platform, you just need to be careful instead of disliking. Thus you can unlock facilities from each altcoin when need. The interesting fact is, Sui & arbitrum, both of those coins raise up incredibly than others altcoins. I already added those two in my portfolio cause i believe still those have space to raise up more in upcoming days

Even who bought Bitcoin when it was less than 10 cents may not even dreamt of seeing Bitcoin valued of 70K and optimistic is too far away for this kind of price difference, they saw something different and decided to throw some money that they have spent on useless gadget or whatever.

I am currently sitting on 5k (50% BTC and 50% ETH) and now want to invest another 5k in Altcoins.

I am thinking about splitting it in 5x 1000, what would be your choice? Which 5 altcoins would you choose?
