Memberships is only one item, user cases are in the multiples which can be explored and to on board mainstream users. I have come across clubs that have 500,000 users But what alternatives can be pushed out also as buffer services using Digital currency and blockchain?? According to stats and figures there's is approx 1.133 billion international tourist arrivals worldwide per year, alongside this approx four Trillion USD per day traded in the following categories: $1.490 trillion in spot transactions $475 billion in outright forwards $1.765 trillion in foreign exchange swaps $43 billion currency swaps $207 billion in options and other products If blockchain hits mainstream use, they these clubs will propably have to go with it. But in the meantine, It will be harder for you to sell the project, even if us, user benefits from it (only speaking about limited club membership, not other possibilities). Let's say the club is no longer the seller the new applicant would have to pay a small setup fee. He has purchased the position of the membership from another user to gain access to the club only now if he wants to use the benefits he does his account setup. This is how Gyms and Golf Clubs also work But there are variable ways to do this which could be token based or smart contract based therefore if smart contract based it can be done in multisig so the club attach a transfer fee between users. Agreements are on the table via several channel partners, but the market demand and value has to be there. Channel partners key interest is tapping into the benefits of the crypto world and blockchain services within the industry. Hence why the following questions: Which currencies should be accepted as method of payment? Which blockchain, smart contract or Token based should be used for the VIP Membership? No offence taken Snail2, But this is why Blockchain based membership could be viable for transparency and limited supply. Which to the member provides benefits within itself. Not sure where you get MLM or time share from.. It's straight forward to get the member discounts you need to be a member, hence the privileges and benefits. Closing statement of Drachmae Project Proof of Concept 2015
April 2015 Drachmae Project was created based on a white paper being created to explore opportunities in Greece around Blockchain solutions and viability of use case.
Drachmae Project was the creation of Lee Gibson Grant for his own personal exploration around a white paper concept that frog leaped into LIVE POC use cases using blockchain and Greece was chosen based on the amount of use cases available to explore.
Version One of the E-Drachmae document was created in April 2015 and now in 2016 Version Two is being worked on and further Live POC trials will be done in 2016 In total there will be four versions of the E-Drachma one each year till 2018.
For transparency and clarification to the public domain too all that contributed and assisted in the project in various shapes and forms I am disclosing the basic financials to the Trial of 2015.
Total funding received towards the project from multiple sources 64,700 GBP (91,600 USD) “Includes sponsorship funds”
Self funded Lee Gibson Grant, Development Team and supporting service providers 152,360 GBP (216,100 USD)
Total Cost of the project 217,060 GBP (307,700.70 USD)
We also extend the thanks to the Nautiluscoin Community and Co for participating in the Live trials where Nautiluscoin was distributed to local people and used as payment method to experience how they would use it and what the reaction would be to digital currency by users that have never used or heard of digital currency. On the back of the POC the exchange Licence is owned by Nautiluscoin alongside Nautiluscoin sponsoring the model shoot, on the note of the exchange any accounts was moved to DXMarkets to be support Nautiluscoin from DXMarkets initiative in good will gesture to the community.

Clear a few points up: Drachmae Exchange: was used as cold storage and nothing else therefore why would I endure the hosting and management cost?  (Most of all seeing as all the accusations being thrown around why would I want to hold your NAUTILUSCOIN?? Accusation = Closing the Exchange) People complain about something they don't USE and complain about the Person MANAGING IT. MMMMM Let me think??? yep close it and save the headaches. Very true I always stated the coin is only as valuable as the community not the ONE MAN. What if BK vanished or something happened to him has always been the point I was making but people find that to be an insult. It's very easy to pass the blame and accuse. Over the past several weeks the technical team of the exchange have been working on various cases which has caught our eye due to the rumours of cryptsy therefore the team has been reviewing security, but in turn due to the NXT protocol being different and unique there is new services being tailor made for security to enable the security of NautilusCoin on the exchange along with the process of Deposit and Withdraws.
With the Release of NXT 1.7 Client with Phasing this will also help resolve some of these issues, we are expecting the release of the new service for Nautilus around the 15th December but we are looking at up to 2 weeks of testing before making this public.

Hi, As announced the Redemption is being extended as many people still have issues, The exchange is open to deposit OLD and be used as storage till redemption and Swap is finished. We closed the markets and any trading till after we finalize the swap and some legal changes that are happening "Which is not in anybody control other than Regulators and Legal Teams" The Exchange was never opened for Trading only for depositing OLD Naut Also the Tech Team is working on new functions. From that post, the coins were supposed to begin converting to the new NXT based Naut on the 18th; it's the 19th now. Where do you currently stand with the conversion process? Additionally, could you please elaborate on why the Drachmae Exchange was opened before requisite legal matters were seen to completion? Users whom trusted your exchange in the short time it was active are now unable to withdraw their funds. I don't find it unreasonable to want to know whats going on, and furthermore, have an ETA of when I can get my coins back. Thank you for your time. |
