1041  Other / Off-topic / Re: How do you feel about fluoride? on: July 07, 2014, 12:02:31 PM
i'm not a huge fan of having it put in the water. i use high quality filtration for any tap water we use, but for drinking, we mostly have glass bottled spring water. i need my water to taste and feel good, and i don't need to worry about that crap....
Did you read this reply and are you sure your state doesn't do it?
I know fluoride is FORCED in every water bottle in Canada, its sick and plain stupid

If that is true, I fully agree. Nobody should be forced to consume certain chemicals.

Hopefully it is at least denoted on the bottles, that flouride is contained.

ya.ya.yo!

this is how it works in the US:
Quote
The FDA standards of quality state that domestic bottled water with no added fluoride may contain between 1.4 and 2.4 milligrams per liter (mg/L) fluoride, depending on the annual average daily air temperatures at the location where the bottled water is sold. Domestic bottled water with added fluoride can contain between 0.8 and 1.7 mg/L fluoride, depending on the annual average daily air temperatures where the bottled water is sold.
http://www.cdc.gov/fluoridation/faqs/bottled_water.htm

here is a list of fluoride content on average in common bottled waters (it can't be avoided entirely):
http://fluoridealert.org/content/bottled-water/

like I said, good water filtration is good. Smiley
Hmm i think i should get better water filtration too, how do you do it? Do you have some kind of machine for it or some kind of live charcoal or however it's called? And do you think that something close to it also applies to Europe states?

i'm not sure what the standards are in Europe, i would think that there may be models that perhaps cater to those standards. this is my filter: http://www.amazon.com/Water-Filter-Multipure-CBVOCSC-Countertop/dp/B0002MIJIG very easy to set up counter-top system, change filter once per year (or more if heavy use).
Hmm...thanks for the link but it's too expensive for my situation currenly, i guess i should try to look into these laws first and hope that we don't have that kind of shitty goverment.

yay good to see im enrolled Smiley!!!

dude dont waste ur time, you wont be accepted with your spammy posts and how come mods are not banning them?   I got banned for 7 days for posting to fast, but they get away with spam?

because my posts arent spam, maybe thats the reason, you were banned for spaming so dont bother me please

go find someone else you arent needed to comment everyones post!
Well, you have 70 activity and over 500 posts so i doubt every one of them is constructive...

You have blue elephant in your profile so I doubt every one of your posts is constructive...
Just kidding Tongue
But my point is that if someone has many posts and low activity doesn't mean he is spammer.
Do you think Hilariuscando is spammer too? No, he just posts a lot.

And actually 500/70 = 7.14 and 1769/252 = 7.02, so you have almost same amount of posts per activity points with him, ~7 Tongue
And don't get offended now I'm just saying and I think your post are constructive .
Hilarousandco is something completely different Grin okay okay my bad and don't worry i didn't get offended and you are right i haven't calculated it myself. Also i have that elephant there as nobody is able to change their avatar Tongue
1045  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 07, 2014, 10:03:57 AM
Comparing the order books of OKCoin and Huobi at this moment, I would think that Huobi's clients (only) are dumping in panic while OKCoin's are just watching.  But things may change fast...
EDIT: OKCoin joined the panic now?
Nope, huobi is going to fix it it seems.
1046  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 07, 2014, 09:52:08 AM
It looks like we could sky rocket at any moment

Few users are claiming this from like half of June? And it didn't happen yet...
Well Bitcoin is unpredictable.  I think there is no question that it feels as though this is a lot of tension right now that could give way to a major price rise.
Well it would be nice...and about that "low" huobi volume see this pic of 15m charts candle still haven't closed and it's already 1150+ and counting

This is actualy a good point raised that i never thought about virtual currency really makes me imagine something virtualy created with almost no value at all.

I'd love to be Buddha actually as he is really wise and has clean soul.

So you don't know a stuff about Buddha, coz we all are Buddhas we just don't know about it hence not enlightened!
That's why i'd like to be him as he clearly is enlightened and has found the methods and does practice them Wink

Yeah, but what I mean that you already are him/you, you just don't feel/know it, so you don't have to want to be the one who you already are even if you don't feel/know it! Smiley

Wow, that's kinky!
Hah i've got your point and i know that Smiley

First of all.. skrill is only reversable if card was stolen... so that means it would not be worth it if he carded just $10..
If this is true then i'm sorry i thought it would also work other way than that one.

I can do 11$ for the price of 10$ Smiley

@Above poster: While i understand your concern, i said i'll send the money first and do you really believe i want to scam someone for 10 bucks? seriously?
I'm pointing at that you can charge that transaction back with these 2 methods. Well it would be worth the scam as this is your first and only post and you've created this account only today prior to the post.
Well only seller will see.
1057  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: SELL or BUY your Bitcointalk account HERE. on: July 06, 2014, 08:53:09 PM

1058  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: July 06, 2014, 08:33:20 PM
Was that action on CampBX an API glitch? Or did somebody exploit the trade engine in some way? Pretty sure no one bought it up to $10k. But maybe they wanted to paint the chart that way. Tongue

Was only 100 coins.

It was ~ 132 from looking at Wisdom. That's likely well over a million bucks on a 132 coins. And CampBX is now offline. Roll Eyes My guess -- someone found an exploit, bought all the coins on the book with fake USD, then made off with as much as they could from the hot wallet.

That would make sense, if the hackers managed to give themselves plenty of fiat IOUs and there was no one to supervise the withdrawal from the hot wallet (it's Sunday).
Well, 100 coins won't hurt the market i hope but it could really hurt the exchange as they had really low volumes. I hope it was just a error in IPO or something.

How did such a good coin have no team to take over? As long as there is a team to take over, the MTS is sure to resurrection!

I'm curious abut this too as it could have nice future but had no active developer.

MTS Wallet data cannot be updated, and ypool deleted? How to do? Is this coin was death?

Yes it seems dead already i don't think any exchange does trade this coin anymore.
1060  Other / Off-topic / Re: Mental health charities accepting bitcoin? on: July 06, 2014, 08:24:08 PM
Hiya
I would like to know if there are any charities dedicated to mental health who will accept bitcoin as a form of donation in the uk?

like mind? do they accept BTC?
if anyone knows of a charity can you point me in the right direction please

It means alot

thanks Smiley
Just try to talk them into accepting bitcoins? It's easy enought and they can convert it into fiat easily, but on the other side they may dump cheap coin but i don't think that would be huge problem.
