I should've used escrow :/
I think that the problem is OP doesn't even know about this video as he wasn't online since June 16th.

Exactly, that's the direction where you have created double-topic.
1105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PREANN] SMOKE - SMOKE-4 ALGORITHM - New algos (GOST + X) - Closed source on: June 27, 2014, 06:28:58 PM
Closed source would be fine by me if you agree to have the code reviewed by two reputable members of this board. What's your stand on this?

This sounds fair to me, and makes sense too.

Non sense.

Just why? you don't need the source for check if a app is dangerous or not....
There can be a big ammount of coins that "never existed" and they could be dumped as soon as this coin reaches exchange and this coin would result in scam.

1107  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN CLOUD MINING IS A SCAM (noob word!) on: June 27, 2014, 06:20:54 PM
It is a bit of scam from lenders side as they know they won't reach that high summ so they sell it and they still profit more.

1110  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New to alts- thoughts on Litecoin? on: June 27, 2014, 05:52:53 PM
From what i've heard litecoin misses a dev team, or better said they don't do any updates/new content.

wtf are you reading ? what trolls post here ?

litecoin has a great dev team
Well maybe i should look into litecoin forums i've seen it alot of times mentioned on these forums, maybe these are trolls if so then sorry i'll try to research it.

1112  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Switching wallets on: June 24, 2014, 09:05:46 AM
I'm not sure, I was asking based on my own assumption.

I assume that because these wallets work in a different way (some are deterministic, some use a copy of blockchain) then you couldn't just copy the wallet.dat to a different type of wallet and expect it to work. Am I right?

Yep it seems like that i could have thinked about it more and it does make a sense. OP may try if he wants but hope he won't forget to also backup that file otherwise if it wouldn't work or if it would damage the file he could loose all of his coins
1113  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Switching wallets on: June 24, 2014, 08:48:07 AM
Forgive my ignorance, but I assumed an armoury wallet.dat file is a different format to an electrum wallet.dat or a bitcoin-qt wallet.dat.

You couldn't just copy it over and expect it to work with different software, right?

Oh i get it now.
I think that you can import it into electum with your private key but you should have copy of these keys as they won't become part of your electum seed.
But it's way better to send these coins to new address.
1114  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Czechcoin [CZC] Multi PoW | No premine | No IPO on: June 24, 2014, 08:32:33 AM

1115  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Bitcoin bubble bursted, say GOODBYE to $600 on: June 24, 2014, 08:04:45 AM
the dead cat bounce finally being weaker, $500 is coming

You are clearly falllling for the bear trap  Wink

after the 20-30% off discount auction of 30k bitcoin, the buyer will dump all btc at once at market, then we see $500 and $48x
There is not just a single buyer it will be like 10 auctions or so, i don'tremember exact number.
And if the info of these leaked contributors to auction is real then they will hold for sure!
1116  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Silk road related site on: June 24, 2014, 07:51:52 AM

1117  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why do scammers scam? on: June 24, 2014, 07:36:36 AM
When it would be more profitable to stay legitimate instead?

For example there was Stackcoin. Its dev had an IPO that raised 70 BTC. It had an interesting idea and screenshots were posted showing the concept being developed. Wouldn't it have been more profitable to just develop the coin instead?

Or the Sharexcoin exchange. A lot of development went into that site and the site was a fully functioning exchange which would have been a good long term investment for the site owner. But instead the owner decided to scam its users by closing the site and running off with its users' coins. I think he was later caught trying to sell 24 million QORA on Poloniex which they were able to identify and seize.

It doesn't make any sense. Huh
Well he could have alot bigger profit from sharexcoin exchange since exchanges make alot of money on fees indeed.
And scammers scam cuz they just want fast money to spend them now, not for planning future or anything like that.
1118  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to transfer my BTC into cash? on: June 24, 2014, 06:55:18 AM
You have more options depending on where you live...the best one is 2 way bitcoin ATM, the second one is these forums with trusted escrow, thirsd one is local bitcoin and 4th is any kind of exchange  but it may take a while to get vertified but if i'm right btc-e doesn't even require vertification (not sure i'm not trading there).
1119  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Switching wallets on: June 24, 2014, 06:48:51 AM
I think you can more your wallet.dat file to the new folder. Can someone more experienced confirm this?
Yes this should work with no problem, or just click on backup wallet and then load it in another wallet.
1120  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero, buy or not? on: June 23, 2014, 02:17:59 PM
Well it has to be your decision, i invested some money (luckily not mutch) like 3 days ago when the price tanked and i'm loosing my money already...will hold them and not dump them since i still hope it wasn't pump and dump.
Dont afraid, its normal that price dropped a little. It cant all the time just grow up. But you should look closer. Before 2 weeks the price was 2usd, now is 4.4usd (before 2days was 5.5usd maximum) Its investment for long time, if you want profit, then have it for at least all.summer.
Yep after i looked on mintpal it seems that Monero has nice community support indeed althought i'll make my final decision after i'll see the mintpal volume.
But it seems that i'll hold.
