1141  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 18, 2023, 08:15:59 PM
Being a student is so hard nowadays. I've been spending a lot for school requirements and different activities related to education. I'm stuck with this saying "SAVING IS WASTING", thinking that with the little amount of money I have, should I put it on an investment or should I just save it for my future expenses or emergencies. I'm also living in a country in which there are limited side hustles I could do to earn extra for investment, so I'm troubled somehow.

I'm not sure about the saying that the OP linked, I've never heard of a saying like that, and I think it can mislead anyone.
Precisely because saving you can avoid your waste, I think you have blamed the frugal ways of living, namely saving.
You can separate savings and investments, you cannot use your investment funds when you need them suddenly, but you can use your savings whenever you need them.
I think that in terms of saving is wasting only refers to a personal perspective because in my life I have never seen experts say that, let's say I didn't come across it, but when there is a statement about this, of course it will be a topic of conversation because this is clear. like going against the grain of the statement saving is something that should be done for better conditions.
And I quite agree with the concept of saving now considering that this is of course a pretty good thing to do, especially since we won't know what will happen to us in the future, so the anticipation in terms of finances by saving is definitely something that is really worth it.
1142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No late comer in bitcoin Investment. on: April 18, 2023, 07:28:21 PM
Things like this have been discussed many times and the answer is actually still the same because it's never too late when it comes to bitcoin.
Even though we can't turn back time to prices which are indeed much lower but for now with their condition which is still below the previous level I think this can still be done. it's just like some people said before. Invest in what you can afford. This is an investment and not for gambling, although indeed we will most likely find what is expected in the end, but there is no need to go all out because of course investing, especially in bitcoin, is definitely not for something like that.
1143  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 06:47:05 PM

I'm quite curious, about in the past regarding the teams that managed to comeback so crazily. Was it at that time that the teams that managed to make a comeback were having a difficult time in the local league, or were they actually having good performance in the local league. So that this can encourage the team to be able to comeback in this Champions League.

Because I'm sure, situations and conditions like what Chelsea is currently experiencing are of course very difficult to make a comeback. Also, if for example Chelsea get lucky but still, I personally believe Chelsea's luck still won't make Chelsea make a comeback.
The problem is that when we talk about Comebacks we also realize that it is Madrid who often do things like that Cheesy and last season it was probably the most successful comeback they have always made because it was not the only time they did something like that.
Of course it will be a little difficult to hope for a comeback to the king of comebacks Cheesy but indeed all possibilities are of course still there but when we talk about advantages now Madrid will definitely be favorites again in this match.
1144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 18, 2023, 05:29:55 PM
Manchester United's problems aside from the away match for leg 2, they are also currently still a little vulnerable because many of their players are still unable to play due to injuries.
Bruno is no longer able to play due to card accumulation, while Rashford, Martinez and Varane are also doubtful now due to problems with his legs. This is really quite tough for Manchester United even though they are quite the favorites in this quarter final but with the current conditions this could be a reversal of fortunes for them and Sevilla.
It is very likely that Manchester United's plan to win the Europa League this season will fail if they cannot perform well at home to Sevilla in the second leg. I have said that don't underestimate Sevilla even though they are team that is not doing well in La Liga, Sevilla have fantastic record in the competition. The second leg was tough for Manchester United because they lost several important players, this will definitely make Sevilla even more excited to win the match.

Ten Hag really knows that Sevilla is very dangerous team, but Ten Hag also has chance to win the second leg. So I hope the second leg should be more interesting than the first. Today both Sevilla and Manchester United won their respective league match, that's good before the second leg battle.
This of course has to be made like a final match because of course fate is decided here.
The two teams still have a real chance but on the other hand it is still a little complicated if indeed Manchester United, especially Ten Hag, are still missing some of their core players.
Now apart from the aforementioned players there are indications Sabitzer is also a doubt for the game due to a physical problem in the warm-up before the Nottingham Forest game on the other hand now Malacia is also out with a knee injury.
This is really a real disaster for Manchester United.

After watching Manchester United's performance in the first leg, I can no longer call them favorites. Manchester United team is quite strong compared to the Sevilla team but they do not play well. United has failed to win at home. Moreover, there is no way to say that Manchester United's performance was very good. Their performance was average. They failed to perform very well in home matches. There is no guarantee that we will get a better performance than Manchester United in the away match. And the way Sevilla performed in the first leg, I think Sevilla will win the second leg.
For the first leg, Ten Hag should have been able to take some lessons from this, such as when they had to create conditions where they had to pay attention to the chosen scheme because it made the defensive play in the second half prove to be a failure, on the other hand substitutions must also be paid more attention because it is for this first leg was really very fatal but when you look at the chance now actually United still can it's just that the conditions are difficult especially with the condition of Sevilla who know some of Manchester United's weak points when they lose some of their players now, and Sevilla's focus is only on the Europa League at this time of course they will work even harder for the second leg later.
1146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 16, 2023, 07:57:41 PM
The mistakes made by Manchester United made their struggle even harder in the second leg, which hurt more than the draw at Old Trafford, both Sevilla goals were born from an own goal by a Manchester United player. Sevilla greatly benefited in the second leg because it will play in front of its own public. Even though Sevilla's performance in La Liga is still far from expectations, they can show a different game in the Europa League.
Sevilla will try to give their best performance to put pressure on Manchester United, they are also trying to find an automatic ticket to the Europa League next season because in the La Liga standings it is almost certain they won't get a slot there.

1147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 16, 2023, 07:36:04 PM
Still a disappointing first half from Juventus, who did not manage to find the goal, I see. A 0-0 half time and we have just started the 2nd half. How is it possible that Juventus has so much trouble with these clubs? They play good football at times, but all in all it is all too changeable. I still think that Juventus will win this match, in the second half they often get steam. I don't know if it is incidental that the teams in Europe are doing so well now, but it seems structural. Good for Italian football.
The match ended with a win from Sassuolo with a narrow score.
Some of the rotations that were intended to refresh the players for the second leg against Sporting did not go well in this match, even though in the end they replaced several players who could make conditions better but their finishing did not go well in this match. Fortunately, several of the clubs above them also had bad matches and of course this is good for Juventus because at least they still have a chance for the top 4.
1148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 15, 2023, 08:43:12 PM
It was the tactical decision by ETH that cost Man United the game. Like you said Martial was having the best of game and he was replaced with the ineffective Weghorst.
~snip~
It looks like the draw at Old Traford benefited Sevilla a lot. Their second leg will be played in Spain. Many players are injured and accumulated cards, hoping that Man United can qualify seems very difficult.
As the host of the second leg, of course Sevilla is very lucky. In fact, I also read that Rashford is also unavailable in the second leg.  It is possible that Sevilla will continue the record of never losing and qualifying for the semi-finals.
The injuries to the Manchester United defenders are like a blessing now because of course apart from this it will be a bit easier, the replacements for the injured defenders can also be De Gea's enemy again just like the first Leg Cheesy
Even so, I still have high hopes for Manchester United for the quarter final this time and Ten Hag really needs to provide real direction, especially for United's defenders in the second leg so that mistakes like the first leg can be minimized properly.
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Automating your savings will help you save more on: April 15, 2023, 08:19:08 PM
I didn't know that it's called automatic savings but it is for now and that's been a few years ago I've been doing it by continuing to deposit into my savings the actual amount of time is almost the same over time as well as sharing other things to invest in bitcoin with a nominal amount actually pretty much the same as I'm still someone who's always been doing DCA but it's more like some momentum is being created.
As for savings, I always do that, especially when I have a condition where the results of my unexpected distribution of funds are not used, I also always save them back there.
1150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 15, 2023, 07:43:23 PM
While I was watching the Chelsea match, I received an App notification that left me in disbelief. Stuttgart had a player that was sent off with a red card, but they managed to hold their own with 10 players against 11 and even scored 3 goals to equalize. This is surprising considering they have only won straight 5 games all season, that match warrants further analysis, but the question remains whether they can climb out of the relegation zone. Even though there are more intimidating teams ahead of them, Stuttgart should use this match as motivation to secure at least two wins to stay in the Bundesliga next season.
Even this seems like something that is hard to believe with those who managed to make things better in the second half.
Interestingly for extra time with their condition that they lack the number of players they still dare to improvise in this match and the results are certainly very good for Stutgart.
The 3-3 score was quite exciting, even though I was quite disappointed with my failed bet, I really enjoyed Stutgart's surprise in this match.
1151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 14, 2023, 09:43:05 PM
But indeed in other matches I have benefited enough because Lazio now have a convincing lead against Spezia. 2 goals are enough to make them comfortable for 3 points now and position 2 in Serie A seems to belong to Lazio this season.
In about 4 minutes, the match will end and I see that Lazio will end the victory with a score that will not change as it is today, namely 0-2 over Spezia.
and the score again changed to 0-3.
I agree that the second place in Serie A will go to Lazio. But they also need to be consistent in every remaining game of the season.

What's great about Lazio in the ongoing match is that they were able to release 6 shots on target, even though Spezia is now eager to return goals with ball possession.
After the red card in the last 4 minutes of normal time made Lazio's dominance in this match even more pronounced and the score 0-3 closed the scoreboard which made it even better for them in terms of confidence.
As for the conditions in the position, I think at the moment, especially by looking at the schedule of their opponents, only Inter and Milan are strong, so there is a big chance to stay in this position, very clear for Lazio.
1152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: April 14, 2023, 08:28:43 PM
I did bet and bet on draw no bet and yet Empoli lost the game which made me also lose my bet.I was watching the game and despite Empoli dominating in general they barely made some shots in target which was their greatest weakness in this game. For Cremonese things are going pretty well as they now have real chances to be safe from direct relegation at least and Cremonese is one of those rare cases where the change of the coach has been really successful so far.
The conditions were the same as what I experienced because in this match I also bet on a draw but indeed for a goal early in the first half which surprised Empoli, even though they had quite a lot of chances but because of the poor line of attack in terms of finishing, this opportunity wasted.

But indeed in other matches I have benefited enough because Lazio now have a convincing lead against Spezia. 2 goals are enough to make them comfortable for 3 points now and position 2 in Serie A seems to belong to Lazio this season.
1153  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 14, 2023, 07:45:55 PM
Even if what you say is true, but on the other hand, when you are in poor environmental conditions, everything will feel tougher in terms of opportunities that make their minds only focus on the shorter term, not the long term. Even though there are indeed examples that can be used as benchmarks because not all poor people have such a mindset because there are some of them who can pass through social inequality and change their fate, but things like that are only a few of the many poor people.
People remain poor because of their mindset they think that if they are born poor they can't get out of this poverty and they don't even try to do something for their growth and development.
Actually, with their condition, when viewed from the other side, it is still very natural for them to think like that because indeed their environment creates thoughts like that which in the end it seems like it becomes a barrier and a wall that is difficult for them to penetrate. But when there is one that is different from the many thoughts like that, this will actually be quite good, even though the risks are certain to be considered a little different by the environment and it takes a lot of effort to get past a wall like that and in the end many give up in the process.
1154  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 14, 2023, 06:45:29 PM
We need to all admit that being poor is a decision because one can be born poor but for him to settle down for it should be his own responsibility which he had failed to work upon in making things change for himself, everyone is striving towards that perfection in everything they do, we need to be very careful with the way we live our lives and how we set our mind or let me say mentality or orientation, this will only perfectly work out as expected if we remained determined for a change.

1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This is crazy on: April 13, 2023, 09:44:07 PM
I personally don't believe any of these claims as they are not backed up by any evidence or factual data. I believe that the prices of crypto coins are based on market forces of supply and demand and can be affected by news and speculation. And I believe that we should be cautious when investing in any cryptocurrency and should thoroughly research the project before investing. It is also important to understand the risks involved with investing in any asset and to never invest more than you can afford to lose.
That is true, we have seen plenty of examples where speculation and manipulation happened via media and we had to deal with it. I know that it is not going to be easy, and I know that it will take some time but that's the reality and we should learn to live with it. I am not saying that we should be forgetting about potentially having any type of improvement on our perspective of bitcoin, but when media works this hard to change ours, it is a very hard work for us to ignore that as well.

This is why market moves whenever there is a big news, up or down it doesn't matter it moves based on what the media says and that's an important part of it for sure.
In this case what you said is true but back to the context now focusing on Shiba and the influencer that the OP told I don't even know who it is by saying Shiba will go up to $50 this is just another attempt to pump as well as bring some naive people to speculate more tall. there is no problem with that, it's just that in this case I feel sorry for beginners who don't understand anything if they are deceived, so this method is really sickening for me personally.
1156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 13, 2023, 08:26:44 PM
Manchester United 2-0 Seville

This is not too surprising because this is what almost everyone predicted in several previous discussions.
Marcel Sabitzer did not waste Ten Hag's current trust with the brace he created in a span of 7 minutes.
Now even though the minutes are still long enough as long as Manchester United are playing like this then indeed they will be very comfortable with their condition and this match is hopeless for Sevilla.

Even though it's not usually a good idea to get ahead of yourself with such conclusions, I still agree with you. Manchester United are shooting the Spanish and they can't answer, they only have one shot on goal, I think it's obvious who's going to win...

No less interesting and another match, Juventus - Sporting. Surprisingly, if you look at the statistics of the first half, you would think that the Italians are choking
It's difficult now to force Sevilla to play better because their condition is clearly cornered by their poor performance this season and the 2 goals that happened so quickly.
Now the match is still quite interesting but still no goals are scored again.

Despite playing as a guest, it seems that Sevilla is trying to play an open game but unfortunately, the strategy actually became a boomerang for them because Man United became so easy to penetrate the Seville defense. Man United's rhythm looks pretty good, and even though there were some mistakes made by Man United players but it does not lead to fatal. The exchange of roles and positions carried out by Bruno and Sabitzer seems to have produced good results.
They wanted to make a breakthrough by playing more aggressively but the first half didn't go well for them even though the game was open in a bit of difficult conditions it's worth appreciating but on the other hand this is what they have to do. Like it or not, a scheme like this must be adopted, especially with the condition that they are currently having to reduce the existing deficit goals.

Chelsea is currently in the relegation zone due to the impact of Potter's leadership which was too bad in the past, causing many once a problem that must be resolved by Lampard.

Chelsea are still in the middle of the table at the moment, Potter does have bad leadership. but that didn't take Chelsea very far down the table. Lampard does have a pretty tough job, but Chelsea still has a chance to finish in a better position in the Premier League. while in the Champions League, Chelsea are unfortunate to meet Madrid in the quarter-finals. because that's clearly a difficult opponent for Chelsea to face in the club's current situation. Lampard should just focus on the remaining matches in the Premier League this season.
It would be better if something like that happened, especially by looking at their condition in the last few matches for the EPL it would still be a little tough because there are still some big opponents to face.
On the other hand, the Champions League is actually focused or not with an aggregate of 2 goals at the moment and with Chelsea's current condition it is clear that this will be very difficult considering they are also still very bad for their attack line even if we see them from the last few matches that have been carried out even in 4 matches (EPL and Champions League yesterday) They haven't scored a goal since the draw against Everton in mid-March.
1159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 07:57:04 PM
The first goal has been created now and Madrid excelled through Benzema's goal some time ago.
It will be even more difficult for Chelsea if they can't get out of Madrid's rhythm because looking at the current conditions it seems that Madrid are very comfortable with possession of the ball and the attacks they are carrying out.
On the other hand, with this 1 goal, of course I don't think they will be complacent and this could be the start for a few more goals in a match that is still a long way off at the moment.
yeah right. There's still plenty of time left for the first half which is now in the 30th minute. Chelsea must be able to get out of the pressure of Real Madrid if they are to be able to balance the current position. because overall Chelsea's game is still quite good. but if they let their guard down then of course Real Madrid could score again in this match. first of all Chelsea's front line players need to be more confident to build their attacks to be more aggressive.

The first half is over now and looking at the stats for the first half it seems it was exactly what everyone had predicted.
Madrid is still too strong at the moment for Chelsea, who are still experiencing leaks everywhere. The first half completely belonged to Madrid, whether it was in terms of opportunities or ball possession and of course 1 goal was also a plus in this case.
1160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 12, 2023, 07:28:30 PM

anything can still happen in this fight. even though I favored Real Madrid in this fight. but yeah I can also say that Chelsea played pretty well for these first few minutes. but we didn't know after the match heated up towards the end of the first half.
