1421  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: January 16, 2023, 06:46:34 PM
I totally agree with this, because I often witness people around me when they experience failure, always looking for scapegoats to blame for their failures, as you said, always blaming family, government, circumstances, and others without doing proper self-introspection. .
We must be aware that every freedom is formed by ourselves as well as financial freedom, without serious effort we may never get it.

Additional as Motivation
Failure will always be present in every endeavor, learn then improve and keep trying again, like Mr. Thomas Alva Edison who made 1000 attempts to succeed, as well as the financial freedom you want, you must continue to be consistent in the path you take.
This seems to be the instinct of most people because regardless of anything the ego always forbids us from admitting mistakes.
The fact is that this happens in our daily lives because conditions like this seem to be commonplace even though if we were much more aware of mistakes then I think this would not be too complicated but because a high ego makes this always happen.
Not too hypocritical, sometimes I also always do things like this to defend myself. Even if it gets a little bad when you get used to it but this is undeniable.

The first trophy for Xavi, even though this is not really eye-catching, but this is still good for them because they can bring a trophy when they need it.
I would probably congratulate Barcelona even though the game is still not over.
The score has 3 goals and it is clear that with the current time, Madrid cannot be chased, regardless of anything, this has been a victory for Barcelona.
In the end my bet was lost in this match Cheesy

Pedri scored the third goal to solidly their win against Real Madrid giving  Barcelonas coach Xavi, his first trophy and a much needed one at that. I along with others, I’m sure had thought that Real Madrid might just win the match with some difficulty but the game went otherwise as Barcelona had played and won the game with some ease.
Real Madrid defense was whack as they allowed Barcelona forward to continuously make attempts at goal and it paid off with 3 goals. Great game.
I believe a lot of people had placed bets on Real Madrid winning the game. That’s a bet lost.
At least with this result Xavi is a little safer because indeed with the condition of winning a trophy it will be very good for his continuity for the future because regardless of anything he needs this for the continuation of his career at Barcelona because to prove that he is able to compete and be a good coach even though he has a trophy I actually think this is not too prioritized.
On the other hand, seeing Madrid's development and their previous matches, I expected too much, even though if you look further, it's actually not very good for them, especially in the last few matches they haven't gone well, it should be a separate code, but I don't see that and I'm still convinced that finally lost.

This is the first ever absurd match between Atalanta and Salernitana considering their head-to-head history. There are still 10 minutes to go for the final whistle and Atalanta can even score more goals than this. However they really needed this after leaving the previous four weeks without a single win. A huge win like 7-2 should boost the morale of the players on a large scale. Atalanta need to maintain a decent streak if they want to fight for top 4 until the end of the season. Because the competition this season is even tougher around this area.

Let's see what Roma will do. Fiorentina isn't an easy opponent of course but Roma should be able to win this. I hope Mourinho says to his players to play more offensive.
The match ended with a score of 8-2. I don't think anyone would have thought that this would be an absolute victory for Atalanta, especially seeing that their last few matches did not go smoothly. but they really showed a different performance in this match.
The first half was amazing and I thought the second half they were satisfied and just played it safe but I was wrong because they managed to get 3 goals back in the second half.
1425  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 15, 2023, 04:33:31 PM
Once again Chelsea made a waste by cornering Arsenal who had tried to bid on Shakhtar players. Chelsea dropped €100 million without a second thought. I don't know if this is excessive or not, because Chelsea seems to be doing this kind of action many times in the transfer market this season. Mudryk talent who has never had a track record in the European caste but is successfully priced at a high price. I wonder if this is just a price game that Arsenal are deliberately building with Shakhtar to bait Chelsea.
Todd still insists on making their front line improve in an instant way and it is hoped that the players they have brought in for transfers this time will bear fruit.
But it does seem too hasty. It would be great if they could eventually get this to improve but what if it's not clear this has gone to waste and their money has been wasted.
On the other hand it looks like Todd is taking a step that has had some real controversy since he became owner for Chelsea this time.
1426  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 14, 2023, 09:59:36 PM
They might as well not sell it, in this situation I don't know what's better... It seems like the player will be unhappy because he will still not play enough, the management will also be unhappy because they did not get the amount of money that they originally planned to get from the sale. I wonder how long the crisis in Barcelona will last for them to feel comfortable with transfers...
Actually, I don't really like to say they are in a crisis because their conditions and actions are actually not really in accordance with their current conditions and indeed that is evident when they spend a lot of money on the transfers they are doing.
As for Depay, I think leaving is a solution. regardless of anything he won't get anything at Barcelona unless he is willing to spend himself on the bench.
1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2023, 09:47:54 PM
Milan were another surprising team today by the result they got. Lecce even got ahead by 2-0 first and shocked me. I knew that Milan defense wasn't in a good shape but this was still too much in my opinion.

Lecce played a great game tonight, putting Milan in difficulty, in fact for most of the game they weren't able to play properly.  Only after the first goal did Milan manage to play again.

This year is the right occasion for Napoli, I'm sure they will win the championship, I could bet on it.
They even struggled in the first half fortunately in the second half they were able to fix that and make the game a draw.
But actually this condition is still not good in my opinion, especially with this result it is clear that Nalpoli really benefited because they managed to widen the gap.
But now it will be a little interesting that the 4 big teams are already in a pretty tight position for 3 of them.
Milan is in 2nd place with 38 points and Juventus and Inter are trailing behind Milan with 37 points.
Of course this is interesting because in the next week who can't maximize the match then obviously the standings will change.
1428  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 14, 2023, 09:18:47 PM
Real Madrid vs Barcelona will be a very competitive game tomorrow as the Copa de Espana champion for this season will be decided at the end of the match. Last season Madrid knocked out Barcelona in the Semi-final and now they are meeting again in the final. Barcelona will want to take their revenge. Xavi will need to find a strategy that will work perfectly against that of Ancelloti

Barcelona don't stand a chance of taking care of business against Madrid, instead it will end up in a draw. Carlo Ancelotti will use this game to make out for there loss against Villarreal.
If Barcelona can hold Madrid at halftime goal less or draw then they can get them to extra time/penalty. If I was asked between the two teams to choose who's going to win at normal time, I'll go for a win for Madrid.
Somehow I feel it would be the other way around.
This match is a condition for prestige and they will obviously be total in the squad I think especially for Barcelona who really have to make a target of at least getting a trophy regardless of whether it's prestigious or not.
This is El Clasico and they don't want to lose again like the previous meeting.
On the other hand, Madrid have also in the last few games not been very good I think and it can be seen in their match in La Liga they seem to have lost their way, hopefully in this match they can overcome this.
1429  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 09:02:49 PM
I don't know why Klopp expects to win games with the likes of Oxlade Chamberlain & Henderson playing every week. A truly surprising display, the midfield has no legs, 3-0 makes Liverpool even further behind the top 4 in the standings.

The midfield lacked energy and the attackers up front were less and less creative from the midfield leaving the back 4 open. Now Liverpool is in a slump. Shame to lose a game with Brighton. i hope liverpool have to buy 2 midfielders and 9 lethals to compete in EPL.
For Chamberlain, I really think he has no other choice there, especially if losing Diaz is still difficult to replace, but that's not an excuse because they really are clowns in this case.
Their meeting this season ended with a score of 3-3 and at that time they also struggled and in the second meeting now they are completely destroyed.
This makes it even more difficult for them and I have serious doubts about Klopp's future now under these conditions.
1430  Economy / Economics / Re: My investments ahead of the 2024 halving 100% Bitcoin on: January 13, 2023, 09:57:28 PM
So at this point I am all into BTC and nothing more.
Its your money which it would really be your full decision on where you would be putting up these things or would really be invested. If you do really believe that much in bitcoin 100%
then its none's other business if you do only invest on Btc and not on some altcoins.Although its not really that bad to make up some considerations about altcoins which there are
indeed which are worth to hold too specially for long term but if you do have that fixed mindset and really that just sticking to btc then it isnt really a bad idea either.
Sticking into the original and king of crypto is always the best choice and its been proven out.
I think being in bitcoin will still be much more worth it in any case.
It's not wrong to be in an altcoin but I think apart from a few coins that are quite good in the top 10 there is nothing else that is suitable as an investment especially for the long term.
Now that bitcoin is cheap so rather than considering anything else the OP's decision to be long term for bitcoin I think is a very good decision and indeed it is the thing to do.
1431  Economy / Speculation / Re: January bitcoin price out look on: January 13, 2023, 09:34:21 PM
I guess the price of Bitcoin will reach $25k before the end of January because, the price has moved to $17k few days ago which are the signs people what to see to be strong in holding this new year. Since, the price of Bitcoin has moved from $16k to $17k show, that before the end of this January many people will start experiencing opportunity from their investment because the bear is about to leave the market for the bull to remain stable.
I agree with you here that bitcoin price will reach $25,000 before the end of January judging from the present market condition and how fast Bitcoin price has recovered in a short period within this year.

Bitcoin is on recovery mode and anything is popossible at this stage, jjustlike what we saw today when we went to bed with a 17k plus bitcoin price and woke up to almost 19k price just within 12 hours the price moved to that level. The
Let's see, part of me wanted to be positive, but isn't it $25k is just too big for January to break? I mean yeah, we are in the $19k price range, but breaking $20k is very different, it's a round numbers and we all know that sometimes, it's very hard to break that barrier unless there are good news that will sway the market for such huge movement.

So let's see first, $19k to break and then for the rest of the month, $20k is the target and let's see how we are going to stay.

Agree with you, it's still too big but still possible to see bitcoin to $20k or even $21k in the next few days or maybe even until the end of january.
The initial resistance was at $21k and now they have managed to pass their previous resistance at $19k hopefully the upside continues.
But indeed for $ 25k this is still too big I think for now. Maybe it still can but not for now.
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 13, 2023, 09:17:59 PM
What hurts the most is when you have your first match at a club and get a red card, Joao Felix must have felt the pain of a red card for his new team and this defeat also seems unacceptable because Fulham from so many matches against Chelsea they rarely won, their last victory came a long time ago.
Graham Potter's position will be increasingly difficult at Chelsea and what he said a while ago is true this will be his hardest job at Chelsea https://www.skysports.com/football/news/11668/12784388/graham-potter-chelsea-job-hardest-in-football-after-ownership-change-says-under-fire-manager
Apart from the feeling of guilt he will also definitely get some criticism because regardless he can be said to be a factor when Chelsea lost this game.
But it has happened and he must not let this drag on because he still has a lot of work to improve performance.
Precisely this should be used as a lesson so that he is not too hard so that he can improve himself better.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is here to stay on: January 12, 2023, 09:49:33 PM
Questions like this will always be there since they were created but will indeed be heard more and more when bitcoin crashes like it is today.
But your answer will be approved and I will support your answer, regardless of the current state bitcoin will not die at least for years it will not die precisely with the current state actually it will be a good start again and my hope now we are at bearish end.
1434  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 12, 2023, 09:35:29 PM
As I said before, they only hope that the arrival of new players will bring fresh air for them now and of course while improving what is currently lacking and which gaps must be closed because that is also an important thing.
Potter is currently still not able to explore his squad properly and this needs to be looked at further otherwise they will obviously struggle a lot.

Actually Chelsea has spent a lot of money but so far there has been no significant impact some people say Chelsea failed in recruiting players
In the next recruitment they have to be more careful Lukaku and Aubameyang are examples, better to wait than to rush to find players.
They're playing games now and I'm behind on Joao's transfer because I didn't see the transfer news the other day but his debut didn't go well because debut and straight red card really wasn't the best start for him at Chelsea.
It's a crucial moment now and the score is still 1-1 for now but it's clear Fulham are getting more opportunities in this regard because they have the advantage in manpower which makes it a little difficult.
1 point is actually still quite bad for Chelsea now but rather than not getting any points I think they should keep this 1 point.

edit
I just finished typing goal happened.
Now it's 2-1 and this is really bad for Chelsea.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: January 12, 2023, 07:52:38 PM
True, as you said, many people are still focused on the short term, although not all but on average are like that, so they are a little panicked about the current conditions, especially those who focus on daily trading. But on the other hand, this is also not the first time that we should be aware that it is with fluctuations like this that bitcoin grows and what we have to do is remain patient and try to hold back so that we don't release the assets we have in our portfolio.
Not all would really be that having the patience and thats why its not surprising that not all would really be going for that long term and this is why they are really that serious and mindful
about on whats happening in the market today which is really that very bearish which it would be normal on creating that doubt and lose of confidence on making up investment.
The thing here is that you should be able to handle yourself well into this market despite on what condition or trend it would be.
When something like this happens it comes back to ourselves. Other people will not be able to control themselves because what comes from other people is just a suggestion and we can accept it or not. When I do panic I think this is a reasonable condition because it is clear that we will lose money when conditions are bearish like this but we also don't have to make panic a reason for us to go because of course we are here, we know the risks that will be obtained, the reason for panic and selling is just a classic excuse because we can make this not happen if we keep our heads up. and I also always tell myself we panic then sell then that means defeat and I don't want to lose in this case.

Quote
It might be looking that bad but we cant really expect that it would really be good always and there are indeed times that it do crashes and instead of freaking out
it would be better to look these things as opportunity for you to get in.
Our thinking should be more in that direction, instead of continuing to panic and keep selling when we are losing money, it is better to maximize this to increase our portfolio if we still have extra money.
Staying DYOR is important, but when you see the conditions for a big discount, there's actually nothing wrong with continuing to add more and more.
1436  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Just how bad is the bear market right now? on: January 11, 2023, 09:10:44 PM
Many people think the bottom could be in now, I am hopeful but not convinced. We are experiencing a bit of a relief rally currently. Bitcoin is back over $17,000 & some alts have risen as much as 25%.

I think stay vigilant, keep some cash spare because there is every chance we could still go lower. It’s still so difficult to tell where we are in the market & if the bottom is in. We won’t know for a while.

The thing is, people are just too focus on the market's situation right now and has forgot the fact that this is not the first time it happened, and surely, it won't be the last either. It's just a cycle that has been around since it was created, it may be the longest declination in the history of bitcoin but we're still blessed to have this kind opportunity to accumulate more before the market recovers because it will always recover.

1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 11, 2023, 06:00:49 PM
Right now, instead of thinking about things further, I think it's better for them to focus on their not-so-good condition.
The hope now is for the new players they have managed to bring in at this time to make up for some of the deficiencies that have occurred in their line up.
As for other things such as the Champions League, which is still about 1 month away, you can see later how their development will be after the new players enter, whether their performance starts to increase or not.
We do not need to wait till Chelsea play in the Champions League against Dortmund before we will determine whether they are good in Champions League or not. With the present condition of Chelsea and the type of result they are getting in the English Premier League it is enough to judge if Chelsea will do well in the Champions League or not. If Chelsea are unable to change their poor performance in the English Premier League they have no hope of getting good results in the Champions League
As I said before, they only hope that the arrival of new players will bring fresh air for them now and of course while improving what is currently lacking and which gaps must be closed because that is also an important thing.

1438  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 11, 2023, 05:14:34 PM
The odds of the Celta Vigo - Villarreal match are pretty interesting.

It is like 2.88 to 2.46. Villarreal are favoured by it is a slight difference according to bookmakers. I don't know why they are seeing this match that close while there is a 11-point gap between these teams already. Villarreal are in a much better shape and they are on a three-match winning streak also. Especially the Real Madrid win must have made an enormous level of impact on the players. They should be coming to this match with a much bigger morale than their opponent. But I still don't think of betting on Villarreal as I'm not comfortable after seeing the odds.
If we compared from their recent matches obviously Villarreal was better especially after they beat Real Madrid but although Celta Vigo position was on 16th but doesn't mean they are very weak and can be defeated by Villarreal easily and i personally most likely will avoid this match because seems this match result will be so unpredictable and if we talking about odds currently Villarreal has odds @2.60 and it's quite tempting to those who want to bets for them but Celta also in the good shape after 3 consecutive no lose so i think Celta also can makes Villarreal to be slipped and my prediction this match possibly will ended with draw result considering Villarreal away matches records was not really good because sometimes they failed to wins several times from mediocre teams for away matches
The problem in this case is that there are a number of possibilities that could occur, even though Villarreal is clearly better in terms of performance, but looking at their previous matches, Madrid was also superior, but their performance was better and now they have the upper hand, but in this case, it doesn't mean that they can win by it's easy, especially since Celta Vigo is currently playing at home, this is clearly an advantage for them.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Is The level of impact of FTX crash on Your portfolio? on: January 10, 2023, 09:52:17 PM
I personally didn't really have any impact because I didn't actually store my assets in FTX and obviously this wasn't a real loss in terms of coins especially since I also don't have many altcoins which makes me not get too much effect here.
But maybe a lot of people are saving here for a lot of losing trades but this can also be a real lesson regardless of anything when investing on the exchange of course we know that it is not very safe in any condition.
1440  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 10, 2023, 09:27:40 PM
this is the battle between the two mid-table teams, quite fierce but I doubt that Athletic Club failed to win the match even though they played very well by controlling this match from the early minutes, doing a lot of possession and attacking well but on the other hand Osasuna's defense must appreciate who played well enough calm and steady.

with this result there is no change in the standings, the two teams are still 2 points behind and both are in 7th and 8th positions in the standings.
these are both teams that are thriving this season.
Actually in this game I like to see how Atletic Bilbao's midfield players and their two wings attack because they really go all out in that regard, but what I don't like is their finishing which in my opinion is very poor.
There were a number of opportunities that actually could have been maximized well, although in this case Osasuna was also full in defense but there were several times where their players had escaped but with not so good finishing, those opportunities were wasted.
