922  Economy / Speculation / Re: In about 8 days Bitcoin will finally lock in SegWit on: August 02, 2017, 09:59:36 PM
BCH seems already to be on its downturn. Lets look forward to the next free coins on next split in November. Smiley
923  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: August 02, 2017, 05:18:22 PM
I like cryptopia because of its great features and many cryptocurrencies. Support is very good and deposits/withdrawels always worked fine.
One aspect could be better not only cryptopia but many exchangers. The mobile interface is not finished at my opinion and could be improved.
924  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New to BTC, and overwhelmed on: August 02, 2017, 03:36:01 PM
Hi, you can find many good tips and help as beginner in bitcoin world and about other cryptocurrencies. Here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=39.0
As newbie this section could be very interesting for you, just to get a common insight of bitcointalk, functions, rules and all you need to get a good start.
925  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get BCH free on: August 02, 2017, 12:19:24 PM
Yupp, BCH is going up. I kept my BTC, I had, to gain BCH. Now I hold both, BTC and BCH, for at least one year to see, what will happen.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 177 LTC , 11000 GNT , 20+ ETH stolen from my wallet on: August 02, 2017, 11:42:25 AM
Isn't here on bitcointalk a thread with techies who can research the wallet owners who had stolen money? Maybe you can find help here, but can't remember where I have read this. Maybe at the section "investment based games".
But how does your client know, what you have in your wallet?
927  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BCH surpass BTC? on: August 02, 2017, 11:30:58 AM
I do not believe in a surpass. Many people, who are not very familiar with cryptocurreencies, but have somehow to deal with Bitcoin, such as merchants who want to address more target groups with the Bitcoin payment option, will hardly or very reluctantly accept a new currency with a different name.
928  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Safe to make transactions now?! (2 august 2017) on: August 02, 2017, 11:07:53 AM
It seems, that transactions run fast and secure. But be aware of exchangers and services, who temporary disabled bitcoin withdrawels and deposits.
929  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: e mail adresse von hier in bka datenbank on: August 01, 2017, 10:43:42 PM
Irgendwie beschleicht mich das Gefühl, dass die E-Mail-Prüf-Services selbst Datensammler sind. Ist spekulativ, aber ich meide sie trotzdem
930  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: I need your help for investing! on: August 01, 2017, 10:21:29 PM
First I would exchange the money to Bitcoin. Then I would split investments up. The preposters have already given good tips, which I would pick up. Poloniex and Bittfinex, for example, are good to invest in familiar cryptos. Bittrex, Cryptopia, Livecoin and Yobit are interesting exchangers of new coins. Also lending can be lucrative for example on bittrex and poloniex. ICO could also bring good results, but you need to get familiar first to invest in ICO. There are many scammy projects but also successful ones with great teams, companies and developments behind them like medical care, solar parks or new technologies.
931  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Was sagen eure Freundinnen/Frauen/Partner zu Bitcoin? on: August 01, 2017, 08:12:29 PM
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you prefer? BTC or ETH? on: August 01, 2017, 08:07:16 PM
I prefer Bitcoin as main coin although ETH has a strable turnup and is accepted by more and more companies. But it will take years, if so, to overtake Bitcoin. And for speculation the value is already to high.
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is BTC cash an altcoin? on: August 01, 2017, 08:01:16 PM
Yes, Bitcoin Cash (BCH) is an altcoin. Alternate to Bitcoin (BTC), if not bitcoin is the altcoin now Smiley. But doesn't look so.
934  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin held in the paper wallet - what do we do? on: August 01, 2017, 04:40:36 PM
As I googled, Kraken will credit the acounts with BCH. Maybe you should wait still a bit or look at announcements of Kraken.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you sell your BCC or HODL? on: August 01, 2017, 04:05:33 PM
So many people selling BCC straight away. If you sell for a few hundred $, that's equivalent to say 10% increase in bitcoin price.
My approach (and obviously I may be wrong!) is to go all-in on alts instead. I think a lot of money has moved from alts to bitcoin to take advantage of free bcc, and I think that money will go back to alts very quickly, and give much greater than 10% return in the short-term.

If it turns out I'm wrong, then let's forget I posted this, okay?  Grin
.
You could be right. For shortterm run it could be profitable to buy altcoins.
936  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best ICO to invest on: August 01, 2017, 03:50:52 PM
I support ICOs with innovative and/or important projects. Solar DAO for example has a company at its background that builds solar parks around the world. Supporters gain dividends on sold solar power. CareCoins is a kind of medical project where patients come together with patients. To look behind an ICO can bring interesting insights and lowers the risk significantly. A known team or company is for me very important. I wouldn't trust anonyms.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Would you sell your BCC or HODL? on: August 01, 2017, 03:43:32 PM
I will hold Bitcoin Cash at least until November, on the next fork, but probably one year. I am interested to see its way in the future. It has not mamy but popular supporters. Although Bitcoin will be the main currency.
938  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin held in the paper wallet - what do we do? on: August 01, 2017, 02:35:15 PM
Can I get peoples views on what to do if there is a split? I have Bitcoin in my paper wallet. If there is a split and I sweep my paper wallet into an online Wallet what happens? At what point do I get both coins? Does the Bitcoin need to be transferred to an Exchange that supports both coins? I think this is an area that many people are not clear about.
When you have your bitcoin on your paper wallet, then you have probably a private key and you should get free bitcoin cash. Just look on bitcoincash.org how and where to export your key or what to do else.
939  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you trade at multiple exchanges? on: August 01, 2017, 02:26:04 PM
The strategy is very good to compare prices at different exchangers, but it only works, if the trade volumen is high enough for the traded coins.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Coinomi info how to gain Bitcoin Cash on: August 01, 2017, 12:50:11 PM
It is really easy to get the Bitcoin Cash on Coinomi Android wallet. I just tried that out.
Make sure you have the actual version and load it. Add Bitcoin Cash and go to further settings. There you type in M/44H/0H/0H and click add. Thats it.
Coinomi provides this tutorial on the link, given in your wallet.
