The dumping by the noobs was pretty much contained on kraken and the price has stabilised. When it hits other exchanges there will be higher inflow of capital.  And then China.
1242  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is horribly overpriced on: August 11, 2015, 10:00:29 AM
Not really. The price shows the expectation that the dev team will begin to dump ether. But in an interview I watched vitalik said there would be no need to liquidate ether because they have "other sources" of funding.

Oh, we have some genuine English manure here.

You see the reason I am sitting in my sunny english garden eating french pate on toast while you eat rice on the floor like the Bulgarian shitcoin pumper you are, is because I'm descended from a long line of people who made correct life choices.

Seems like your entire account is just anti-ethereum shilling.  Welcome to my ignore list.
1244  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bend over for Goldmansachs coin on: August 10, 2015, 02:41:18 PM
If you think calling ethereum the Goldman Sachs coin is going to dissuade people from investing you're going the wrong way about it.

If this is reverse psychology then well done to ethereums viral marketing team I guess.
1245  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: "Trustless pyramid schemes" - doing untold damage and could kill Ethereum on: August 10, 2015, 01:43:06 PM
na ethereum's doing a fine job killing itself

To be honest, I see this kind of sentiment (Bitcoin zealotry) a lot on these forums. I hope Ethereum does well, I really do. In fairness to them, they have rolled out an excellent smart contract platform. They're leading the way in that space.

But when the devs go to all this work and a pyramid scheme is the result, it's sad.

Crypto pyramid schemes like this should be banned. We ban child porn from the internet. I don't see why we can't ban so-called trustless pyramid schemes.

Pyramid schemes do not advertise themselves as such.  These scripts are harmless fun and don't hurt anyone apart from the idiots who join them.
1246  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bend over for Goldmansachs coin on: August 10, 2015, 12:52:28 PM
Wondering why you are getting pounded in the ass? When you dumbasses bought goldmansachs coin you should have comeup with a safe word.

Are you talking about ethereum?

Let the record show stoat was the first one to assume it. oops you're not susposed to reveal your bosses...

Are you trying to say that ethereum is backed by the financial institution with the deepest pockets in the world? Because if that's what you're implying then that can hardly be bad for ethereums future prospects.
1247  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherium. What's next? on: August 10, 2015, 12:49:57 PM
The thing is, etherium isn't ment to be used as a currency, but to only fuel the platform. Smart contracts etc. People assume that it is a scam, but in my eyes they have been very much open about what it is going to be. As for the price drop, anyone who has been in the crypto scene knows that every coin that is released will have a huge price drop, specially in coins that has an initial investment in it.

I am very much happy i invested in etherium, i made monster profits and profited on the fact that i knew that most people who invested in the coin wouldn't be able to sell at the start since they wouldn't know how to use the command line wallet. I sold my investment early since i know when the windows wallet comes most will be dumping their ethers then. I believe that Etherium can be a huge part of our economy, not necessarily as a coin but as a platform for innovation, it shouldn't be taken lightly.

As for investing in the etherium-coins, i will wait untill the windows wallet gui has been made and the rest of the people have dumped their possible investment.
Congratulations on dumping. When do you plan to buy back in?   Don't you think people that wanted to dump couldn't already use the sweeper tool on kraken?  I don't think windowsGUI will cause more dumping.  I think it will cause more buying.

If you look at the chart the price of 0.0026 looks like a pretty stable floor. I think the dumping is finished already.

Shut up shrill.

I think we all know who's the shill.

it's not worth it, there are already some thing like Etherium, they are more worth to invest.

Like what?
1251  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherium. What's next? on: August 10, 2015, 11:58:07 AM
I've never been about trading or speculating.  I'm a hodler.  I hodl Bitcoin and if Bitcoin didn't exist I would probably hodl gold or platinum.  I will hodl ether and never sell.  I think 90% of Presale coin holders are like me. Never sell.  I didn't buy ether because I wanted to dump on the IPO. I bought it because I trust vitalik. He is too autistic to scam anyone.

Once the first gui that has been security audited comes out and the first DAPPS start running, there will be a market demand for ether because these DAPPS like decentralised Uber and decentralised airbnb will outcompete the centralised versions.

The reason they kept a lot of ether was to fund dapp development and to donate to dapp developers.

I think a large amount might be given away by the foundation to dapp developers which would mean a low market value for a while.

A year is a long time in crypto, I think Ethereum will look much healthier by then.
1252  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM SCAM WARNING!! SCAM SCAM SCAM on: August 09, 2015, 11:49:14 AM

this is your last chance of getting out of etho, once the hype and volume is dying down there will be not many wall to dump on, this is to people who have more than 5,000 ethos.

I knew you would come here.  I created this thread to draw you here.   You have done nothing but shit talk Ethereum in broken English.  You see the reason I am sitting in my sunny english garden eating french pate on toast while you eat rice on the floor like the Bulgarian shitcoin pumper you are, is because I'm descended from a long line of people who made correct life choices.  That's why I got in early on Bitcoin and it's the same reason I got in early on Ethereum.

As of right now it's at $0.75. I'm genuinely interested in which direction you now think it's going to go? Are you going to dump your coins or continue to call naysayers Bulgarian shitcoin pumpers?

I'm not going to give financial advice or buy/sell any digital assets.  I think people who try to trade crypto are retards.  You earn and spend not buy and sell that's how an ECONOMY works and I probably have more BTC than any of you dogecoin speculators.

Having said that,

Name 1 thing you can do with Litecoin that you can't do with Bitcoin:  *tumbleweed*
Name 1 thing you can do with ethereum that you can't do with Bitcoin:

Auger
Boardroom
Airlock
Provenance
Slock it
Digixglobal
Ether.fund
Weifund
Maker
Etherparty

Etc. Etc.

1253  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Anyone else going all in? on: August 08, 2015, 11:28:12 PM
I exaggerated with 5 but a significant number of years.  I'm not even mad you pointed that out. Just dissapointed with myself.
1254  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETHEREUM SCAM WARNING!! SCAM SCAM SCAM on: August 08, 2015, 11:14:29 PM

Meanwhile you're posting on a newbie account that has only ever talked about Ether

That's because I'm a newbie who's only interested in Ether.  If I was a paid troll I would just buy YOUR account with my loads of bitcoins.
1255  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Anyone else going all in? on: August 08, 2015, 09:54:50 PM
Ethereum is way too overengineered, overhyped and stuffed with loads of fancy words. Right now it's worth a shit.
And I highly doubt that these guys will be able to get more financial support by the community.

That's exactly the kind of thing everyone said about Bitcoin. The fact is, it doesn't matter.  If you look into the actual documentation available on Ethereum it's obviously a game changer. I will hodl ether just like I hodl BTC for 5 years, just because I believe in the technology. I've never sold a crypto for fiat shit USD/GBP. And I've never been tempted by any of the shitty alts so far. Can you say the same about you and your portfolio of pump and dump shit?  I can shill Ethereum or not shill Ethereum it doesn't matter. The actual value of it will not go up/down depending on the level of shilling on this altcoin forum. Unlike whatever flavour of the month pump scamcoins get shilled here.
1256  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [ETH] Anyone else going all in? on: August 08, 2015, 08:30:19 PM
I will think about buying some in the future, not yet. Well over 10 million USD invested and all those early buyers seeking profits. Price should come down significantly. Much more development needed and there are other platforms out there competing.

It is very interesting though.

I second that. It is a very interesting project but it will require a colossal amount of development. If significant progress is made in the next year or so I might invest a bit in it.

If they wanted to they could make enough BTC from this floatation to fund dev work for 100 years. It's going in a different direction from BTC and fills a different but potentially very lucrative niche.  Ether is the oil to bitcoins gold. It's fuel to power the DAPPS that live on the blockchain.  Bitcoin could even be implemented as code on the Ethereum network Simply because Ethereum is a programming language that allows you to do that.

1258  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Ether in unlimited supply? on: August 08, 2015, 03:41:59 PM
"Ethereum also recognizes that a system intended to serve as a distributed, consensus-based application platform for global economic and social systems, must strongly emphasize inclusiveness. One of the many ways we intend to foster inclusiveness is by maintaining an issuance system which possesses some churn.  New participants in the system will be able to purchase new ETH or mine for new ETH whether they are living in the year 2015 or 2115. We believe we have a achieved a good balance between the two goals of fostering inclusiveness and maintaining a stable store of value. And the constant issuance, especially in the early years, will likely make using ETH to build businesses in the Ethereum economy more lucrative than hoarding speculatively."

But 90 million ETHER in total(60% crowdsale participants 40% miners until the switch the POS. In 18 months. (Correct me if I'm wrong)

Each ether is divisible down to millionths just like bitcoins but in Ethereum they are called 'wei'.

I don't expect to see Bitcoin-like bubbles in ether. But a steady increase up to >$10 by the alpha release. And then $30-50 hopefully during my lifetime.

I might put my ether towards a distributed Wei faucet and just make money from ads

Don't you get it, this undermines why Bitcoin was made. If we wanted a digital currency that inflates then just use your credit card and buy something in dollars.....is everyone insane on here?

And who the hell are you spouting this Ethereum bs from a newbie account?

$50 in dollars in your lifetime are you insane? A coffee will cost $50 in the lifetime or probably a lot more..

Bitcoin is Bitcoin. It will still exist. Ether is used as fuel to run dapps. It can only work with a steady price.  How will DAPPS work if ether is bubbling like Bitcoin. Inflation decreases exponentially down to 1% after 100 years anyway.

Bitcoin will still be inflationary in 100 years as the last coins are mined.

Bitcoin and Ethereum can coexist in fact you can run Bitcoin through Ethereum anyway.  Ethereum blockchain is designed to do totally different things than Bitcoin blockchain can do.
1259  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: This forum has an organised Sockpuppet attack from Ethereum. on: August 08, 2015, 03:32:30 PM
They are everywhere shilling.

This coin is bad news people, please dont accept it, it will screw up your kids and their kids after them if you do. It's a FED/bank backed coin built to have inflation to rob people of wealth.

What are you talking about m8?!  There's literally ONE person shilling Ethereum right now on this board and its ME.  I am just a Presale investor. I'm totally open about that lol.  Unlike your average scamcoin troll I have nothing to hide. I truly believe that they can and will and have delivered what they say they were going to do.

As for inflation, look how that has worked out for BTC, now BTC is $300 dollars and people don't want to buy because it's too expensive. This hurts adoption.  And stifles innovation. Ether is designed to be spent to run DAPPS not hoarded.

I have no problem with BTC because it was designed to do that. To be deflationary. But it doesn't generate a great deal of spending.

If you have a problem with Ethereum talk to me about it because as far as I can see there is only me here talking about it.
1260  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi on Ethereum ? on: August 08, 2015, 03:19:06 PM
another bitcoin clone

just like guldenshitcoin..ether is shit too

Lol! The fact that you think you can talk down Ethereum through your posts on bitcointalk with these sort of crazy lies shows how much of a pathetic idiot you are.

It's a revolutionary bit of software technology and you would do well to read up about it.  Unlike your scamcoins there is tons of literature about Ethereum Because it has actual academic merit. Chatting shit while you missed the boat.
