Firstly, the launch window hasn't changed, we're still aiming for the first half of September, likely the second week to give people a chance to settle back after their summer holidays. Secondly, we’ve taken notice of people asking to move the snapshot closer to the launch. There doesn’t seem to be any concerns about a pre-mine, so we are now planning to create a pre-mine a few days before we launch, rather than the planned fast mine for four weeks. So, based on this information, the snapshot date is likely to be pushed back to a few days before launch in first half of September.

Question -
I have been thinking of stepping up to 'community leader' position in this coin. Basically being the face of the project for the world. So that people know there is a real person behind it.
Of course, this also includes me using my contacts to help with all aspects of the project, and of course I myself helping, like I did with cryptopia getting listed there.
I would like to do this for everyone here, if that's alright with everyone.
Any questions feel free to ask, nothing to hide here.
I work full-time crypto, so I would have the time along with the contacts, to help further things along for SIGT. I very much enjoy helping solid projects, getting new people involved, and just giving and helping in general. So this would be quite fun for me.
Just wanted to post here and let everyone know what I was thinking, and make sure everyone would be fine with that before just giving myself the title.
I work closely with SIGT current devs, and have others that are working on SIGT things as well.
Let me know if you're all okay with this, and if not, why?
If anyone has any legitimate concerns, we can definitely talk about it, but I can say for certain that I'll do everything I can to help things get where they should go.
Thanks!
I'm good with that!

By the looks of it the Baikal giant + has a lot lower hashrate for X11 than its competitors, and it is therefore expensive for this algo (4000 usd they told me by e-mail). However, it is able to mine several other algos, so it's unique in that sense, and more versatile.

Hey guys, we're doing a group buy for SP signatum skunk mod #2! We're going in together at 0.01 btc each and we need 2 more people to join! PM if you're interested. Regards This mod is for Nvidia, right? Will there be one for AMD?

I managed to set intensity 23 for my rx 480 4gb sapphires, getting about 16 MH/s per card (slightly underclocked, BIOS unmodded). Feels good to get in early on this one, but wish I could get a higher hashrate.

generally:
if you think bts will go up, you borrow bitusd and pay back in future much cheaper with bts
if you think bts will go down, you buy bitusd with bts to hold value
Thanks, but for instance if you have one BTC, and you think that BTS will rise, but you invest it all into OBITS. Will you in some sense "miss the train" if you hold 0 BTS, but x amount of OBITS? I am looking for incentive to hold BTS rather than use BTS to buy assets.
|
|
|
Did the OBITS buyback & burn happen on the second of July? It just says pending on obits.io.
Also, I would like an opinion here: What is a smart investment move if you are bullish on BTS, assets and smartcoins? As I do not yet fully understand smartcoins and the assets, I am wondering if I am "going short" on BTS if I spend all my BTS on say OBITS and HERO. If yes, then a good move would be to hold a healthy stack in BTS and reinvest the rest into the others.

i did that a while ago - and it consolidated more than 1024addresses in a matter of seconds ... i do that often also ...

Is it necessary to do this before snapshot date, or can it wait until you actually claim your HLM?

People didnt learn from Zclassic > Zen fork It seems with Zclassic pumping like crazy the last Month before the fork
It'll be the same thing here, in the next days, that's the big train to not miss on July !
What do you mean by this, you could explain, I would appreciate it, because I plan to buy spreadcoins, but first I want to know if this is reliable? Thank you Since people holding SPR will receive HLM on snapshot date 1st of August, it is likely that more and more people will buy SPR. From now on and until snapshot there may therefore be a bull run!

How's this going? anyone see it?
The quote below is from bittawm on page 1 and should answer your questions: Steps:
1. you Pay me via BTC or DASH
2. Miners get shipped from the manufacturer in china on or before the 31st of July.
3. Miners get sent to you within 48 hours after our group receiving them

Thank you! finally in plain words Also, is there a limit of the amount of MN's? I think on SPR if you had 1000 that was not enough since the idea is the more coins you got, the more chances you got to stay on MN.. So others with more could kick you out.. You're welcome Yes, I also remember that explanation from the SPR discussion on MNs... I don't know how this will function for HLM, as the only thing I know is how to get HLM, lol.

This is the most complicated thread I've seen. I really have no clue or idea how I will be able to get HLM coins nor having a Master Node.. To get HLM: 1. Buy or mine SPR now and wait until snapshot date 1st of August to be eligible for claiming your HLM. You can keep your SPR in your wallet or on the Bittrex exchange. As launch approaches I am sure detailed instructions on how to claim your HLM will be published. 2. Buy HLM from the exchange when it is launched there. To run a Master Node: You need at least 1000 HLM, and I'm sure instructions for running the node will also follow as the projects nears launch.

It's hard to make an informed decision right now based on what I have read so far. Fundamentals seem to indicate that BTS will increase a lot in value maybe already on Tuesday and onwards (being added on major Chinese exchange and tons of other positive factors), whereas the technicals seem to have a more bearish outlook. I guess long term hodlers will do fine anyway, but there could be a window to sell and buy back cheaper in the short term. Is it worth taking the risk? Personally, I will wait until the end of the week before taking any profits. Later, I will look into reinvesting my BTS into other assets via OpenLedger.

Will the HLM launch be advertised on ICO-watchlists, or does this not qualify as an ICO?
I don't see how this is an ICO . I assume the dev team has a proper balance of SPR and will fund themselves with their own share of the snapshot. I assume everything will be announced in due time. P.S. ICO watch lists are for amateurs. Pro's read through 50 pages of forum posts every day LOL, that is true, I always read too many forum posts. I just don't fully understand the ICO concept, which was why I asked.

If you have such information, I say release it!

Website looks great. When will we be able to buy some HLM?
You can buy SPR now, and you will receive the same balance in HLM on snapshot date when the coin redemption happens. Or you can wait until HLM is traded on the exchanges, but chances are that prices have already been driven up by then.

Should it not be called something else than a swap? To my understanding people will own both SPR and HLM on snapshot date.
You are correct. What is happening is a coin redemption, as the owner will receive Helium equal to their Spreadcoin while keeping both currencies afterwards. Thanks for clearing that up. I suggest you edit this part on the first page of this thread for clarity: " Effective cut off date for swap".

If I keep getting a "sick" or "dead" GPU, but the others work fine, is that indicative of having too high intensity for SPR mining? Or can it be anything? I seem to be getting it at least once per day.
Usually it's exactly that. Another possibility is that your overclock is not stable. If lowering difficulty doesn't fix your problem you should try adding +6 mV to voltage or subtracting -10 MHz from the core clock. Thanks for the good advice. I added some mV extra and lowered intensity some days ago, and so far it is a lot more stable it seems.
