I just had the same idea yesterday  I think it would really help in the forum the promote burst 2.0, and I would prefer carrying a burst sig instead of this cheap rise one  I started wielding a Burst-sig today, but I am more than willing to carry a more sophisticated one. If someone is going to make new sigs, it would help to create sigs for different tiers, as not all users are allowed to use colours and such in their sigs due to having a low Bitcointalk level. Creating a sig incentive is a good idea as well. Thanks for pointing out the errors.

I am using the latest GUI wallet, and launched Jminer from within the app. I noticed that it auto detected and used my CPU's integrated GPU, instead of my Nvidia CUDA. So, I changed the values in the configuration file found in the Appdata folder, and launched Jminer manually with great success. Then I ran it again from within the GUI wallet, and noticed it overwrites the config back to the old values. Could you fix this please? I recall you fixed a similar issue earlier.

If so, will that not lead to a free-for-all for all huge data centres around the world who can then mine while still hosting server space? I believe dedicating free space to plotting/mining has so far been a deterrent to those players.
You haven't quite understood (but that is okay as I have not been that explicit as I'm trying to reach out to devs that might be able to "read between the lines"). The files that would be used would need to have been pre-announced (so that their hashes are actually known). Exactly how that should work I haven't spent that much time considering so far (as it is mostly just an idea at this stage) but it would be fairly easy to limit the rate of expansion (making it more likely that smaller operators could expand to keep up with the total storage if they wanted to). Over time the advantage would still be with those with more (and faster) storage but in order to get the files that the entire network might consider would first require the entire network to have accepted them (the "proof" is not the file content itself but the file content being modified from a starting nonce). I am not a dev, but your explanation makes more sense to me now. Thanks. |

Can you provide a example of how this might be used in the real world and what the benefit would be?
Would the file have to be generated for the task and in the same way that plotting is done? or would it be possible to use a drive/file of existing data and use that as you've described instead of creating plots?
I would think that existing files would be able to be used (the benefit being that there is no need to "plot" as an activity) although that might depend upon whether or not the file content should be encrypted (the reason you might want to do that is to avoid any potential issues about illegal/immoral content). A simple purpose would be a "shared backup" system - and of course if you shared encryption keys for specific files then it could be used more like a P2P file sharing system. Also there is still a cryptopia listing. I hope one day some people will team up on this one and start to develop infrastructure and promotions. I've offered some help but it seems there are no initiatives. That would be nice! |

No, I mean something that actually makes sense. Something that is actually able to make a real amount of coin, and not burn up your phone. But you know, to each their own. lol. edit - No offense at all meant by this, but mining anything like traditional PoW on a phone just reeks of bad idea to me. This is simply my opinion. Given that other android miners exist: Make sure that we in the promotion of Burst android mining do not claim to be the first minable coin, but instead highlight its usefulness compared to others, with feats such as profitability, (phone) sustainability, eco-friendliness and such. |

In order to search in the CF section: Is it normal that the search button is almost hidden by the text field in which you have entered the text? We've got 34% funded of Premium so far. Everyone should contribute to this. 0.5 btc is absolutely nothing in a marketing perspective, and a small thing such as an e-mail alert to all yobit users can have a potent effect. After all, Burst has so much potential to offer, and the sooner people get on board, the better for everybody. Also, as I have mentioned before, a crowdfund for running a marketing campaign on sites dedicated to the marketing of crypto-related projects could be a good idea. The banners Crowetic showed us are well suited for this. I have a feeling that Burst has a quite steady organic growth, but does anybody have statistics over how many users/miners/traders or forum website visitors we have? It would be nice to get a perspective. |

But it is okay, we're on it!1 more small issue left. Some advice for now... a great time to BUY. Some neat things on the horizon... and also... here's some neat stuff too! I like the advert sets! However, I would suggest that the delay between each frame in the large one with all the text is increased, because it is almost impossible to read the message before it changes. |

Does this work only on window 7?
I tried this on my sandbox xp and synced the wallet.
But gamebot won't launch. clicking blue start gaming button on wallet does not do anything.
Should I try this on 64bit win 7?

Bot is working in backround check your cpu load it should be 100 I checked the CPU usuage, and it was flatlining. game launch button was non responsive at all. Did you get it working yet? I'm running it fine on 64 bit win 10. |

In daWallet's burst client for windows v0.2.3, in the crowdfunding section, the button you must press to execute the search is hidden by the text line where you specify what to search for. I can imagine that this prevents some people from actually finding projects they want to support. It would be nice if pressing the return key on the keyboard would execute the search as well.
