241  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Anyone heard of or investing in 'Mining Sweden'? on: October 12, 2015, 06:05:46 PM
Do you think that if Mining Sweden upgrades to S7s, that it will positively affect those who have already bought mining power - or that it will be offered as "unique" mining packs in the shop?

how will it positively impact you? More miners means the difficulty will go up, making the miners you "own" worth less. They will "sell" those miners to other people which will give you a smaller percentage of the total hashpower.

It was a stupid question, but I was wondering if they would shut down the old miners and transfer the contracts to the S7s - I guess not Smiley

Sounds good to me!

I still keep getting my peanut withdrawals. Apart from having lost a little money here, I have lost a lot of time, which is far worse in my opinion. Sad i hope that people will still be able to withdraw, but I also wish that the scam site closes down for good so people can move on with their life.

Thank you for your analyses and thoughts! I agree that the v4 does not look as promising as the v3 did...

I see they are now offering separate S7-packs in the shop!

Will there be a tournament this weekend?

A fun tournament mode would be one where mass size increases as normal, but you are only awarded points for eliminating other players completely - thus forcing people to take more chances and perhaps get eaten themselves. Not sure if that will be the outcome, but it could provide some interesting gameplay.

Also, it could be fun with a game mode where all players start out with a larger size, just to speed things up a bit in the start.

LoL, hiring Dog would definitely work as a PR stunt for Bitcoin. It looks like his better half can crush someone too!

Got my first ref yesterday Smiley

How will we be able to see who the ChopCoin crew are during the tournament? You will probably inform us about that anyway, but I'm asking just in case.

I have never been to the IRC club, but if it has anything near the amount of bickering that this thread has, I will stay well clear.

I got my 0.09~BTC withdrawal just a short while ago. I have been able to collect most of my "earnings" since things went south, but I am still robbed of my 3BTC withdrawal, which sucks...

Such addictiveness! I love this game Smiley

Let me preface this with, I'm 99% sure Scrypt.cc is a scam/ponzi or something else not legit.

But I just wanted to say you can still withdraw cash.
2015-09-13 15:40:56 / 1.41700839btc

That was a withdrawal that I actually did about 6 days ago.
They changed the date when it went through, but I requested it 6 days ago.

And here you can see it arrived:
https://blockchain.info/address/1CiAaYaZsLxHtVw3UBrTyawfzwpkiA91GJ

So it is still slowly ticking over. Ponzi hasn't collapsed yet.

I think it is weird why the date gets changed. I received a tiny .04BTC withdrawal yesterday that I requested over a week ago, but it shows as requested yesterday. In addition, I had two more separate requests that for some reason were "merged" into one, but the total satoshi-size had changed by an insignificant amount.

I'm satisfied with the piknik 3.0, but it's not the fastest ROI. At least the investment feels safe  Smiley
255  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Betterbets.io - Invest in multiple Casinos and apps at once through Moneypot.com on: September 07, 2015, 12:40:28 AM
Thank you to all our current investors and to those who decide to invest in the future as well. We now have a current max payout of 4.17 BTC per bet!

One of our Bitcoin brothers NLNico, a respected forum member, has put together a very nice Moneypot statistical overview on his site. I feel this is superior to this thread and could be used as a means to track your investment and how all casinos and apps are doing as well. Best wishes to all of you, (both players and investors) as Moneypot and BetterBets.io climb their way into Bitcoin gambling history and continues to provide entertainment for everyone.

Please use this site for detailed stats: http://dicesites.com/moneypot

Received .027 today, but another request of .017 was cancelled. Surprisingly, my auto-invest was not turned back on this time.

So, it has been two years since the last post in here... During this time, has anyone developed a decent gambling strategy for .01 - 1.0 BTC bankrolls yet? Grin And yes, I know we always lose in the end and the house always wins etc. lol, but it doesn't hurt to ask. I like the occational gamble, and it is fun to discuss strategies!

I see that you have made alive an old thread so let me crush your dreams. Smiley

I don't that this has happened and I don't think that will ever happen. There are no strategies. In the long run, casino will always win. It has been like that since forever. In the short run, or by a crazy luck, yes you can win and this is exactly what all gamblers are chasing, this string of crazy luck.

I don't think I am that lucky just like I don't think that I am that unlucky that the plane I board will crash. That's why I stay away from gambling.

Everytime I see one of these betting system ideas I love to get out my spreadsheets and play around with the numbers. You can do quite well at times, but if you don't stop at those times, you will have a bad time.

yeah it's fun to play around with different systems. I've given dicebot a try again now for some serious faucet gambling hehe. I think that with a little luck, proper bankroll management, and a decent strategy, it is possible to get out on top. At least short-term.

Did any of you try the system in the first post? I know it is ridiculously risky, but it might still pay off a few lucky times, with a high enough bankroll to sustain a shitstorm of losses that is.

haha, thanks for the good answer  Smiley I know, you are mathematically right, but it's still a thrill to go on gambling frenzies, so long as not too much money is risked! Oh, the excitement of seeing those green numbers accumulating... and then that hollow, empty and lonely feeling when the bankroll reads 0... lol.
