1  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Genesis-mining.com || World's leading hashpower provider! on: August 26, 2015, 08:50:44 PM
Which blocks have you mined Genesis?
2  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The network seems stressed (and behind) right now on: February 28, 2015, 08:42:20 PM
There don't even seem to be an excessive amount of transactions in these blocks that are approaching 1 meg.

Perhaps someone found out how to create really large transactions and clog up the network?

I doubt that large (kB) transactions are that hard to figure out how to do.  I doubt it's malicious.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The network seems stressed (and behind) right now on: February 28, 2015, 07:38:52 PM
The next block came out at 976kB
4  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / The network seems stressed (and behind) right now on: February 28, 2015, 07:37:58 PM
It's been a while since a block hasn't come out below the 731kB softcap.     Shocked

6  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [CLOSING] BTC Guild - Pays TxFees+NMC, Stratum, VarDiff, Private Servers on: October 31, 2014, 10:47:01 PM
Are you going to allow people to withdraw all BTC/NMC before any sale so they can make their own minds up if they want to stay with the new owners or not.

I imagine that you can withdraw as normal, and if it's sold you can withdraw as normal after it is sold then too.  I don't know about everyone, but I think any buyer would want to have zero service interruption.

I sent eleuthria a PM.  If you have time for a friendly call tomorrow, that would be nice.

What about Slush?
9  Bitcoin / Pools / Is it time to up the block size limit? on: November 26, 2013, 04:59:37 PM
Shouldn't all the major pools raise their soft cap to 500kB or 1MB.

Just a thought.  I think this would make room for the tremendous growth that we have seen this month.

I wanna see what this puppy can do.   Grin

12  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Running government just by inflating its currency on: August 20, 2013, 05:58:40 PM
I do not think this is possible.  With out the threat of harm these pieces of paper would loose their value.  People would switch to the currency that is not inflating.
13  Economy / Economics / Re: Meanwhile in the fiat world... on: August 20, 2013, 04:55:58 AM
If the taper gets receded then it's possible bond yields will pull back.

I agree with the sentiment though, the Fed is purchasing $45B a month and yields still go up.
14  Economy / Speculation / Re: New parabolic rise ahead! on: August 19, 2013, 12:45:21 PM
This is going down.  As you can see price dips are good for blueberries so this chart is bearish on bitcoin, and bullish on blueberries.

There is even a bear right on the chart, that's a clear signal that bitcoin will crash.

15  Other / Politics & Society / Re: George Lambert, exploring a run for governor of New Hampshire, discusses bitcoin on: August 15, 2013, 05:54:52 PM
He talks about the constitution a lot.  He's a big fan of the New Hampshire constitution.

Even the part that makes it legal to revolt against the government?

 Grin

I believe he served on the redress of grievances committee before the new guard disbanded it.

I don't know if the exploratory committee is taking a position on article 10.

I can't find his platform written out.  I know he was at, and spoke at, the bearcat protest in Concord this week.

I did find a few videos of his, including his interview at WMUR.  http://lambert2014.com/

He sponsored legislation which would outlaw the TSA touching breasts or genitalia.

He is a fan of Tesla (car manufacturer).  Now New Hampshire is one of the states where you can buy a car directly from Tesla.

He talks about the constitution a lot.  He's a big fan of the New Hampshire constitution.

Hope that gives you an idea.

George Lambert is exploring a run for governor.  He gets bitcoin.

Could you imagine not having to explain bitcoin to your governor.
