201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 01, 2022, 06:26:22 PM
West Ham would stay as one of the strong teams to beat for the biggest teams of the league anyway. Maybe it is really difficult for them to finish a season in top four now but they can still be one of the biggest contenders for the fifth and sixth positions. Their last season effort was really impressive and this kind of good transfers can help the team get stronger and stay where they are in the worst case. I remember West Ham's very poor times too so it's good to see them like this now.
There is no doubt West Ham is enjoying good fight for last few seasons under David Moyes even they have mostly averaged players but with few new singeing's they can achieve their target which is keeping to stay at top even they fail to have top four spots but still staying in higher rank is not easy here in Premier League where we have too many underdogs and very tough competitions for many seasons.

Now in coming season we can expect some tough challenge with few teams are already having good benefit of this transfer window, and they are not having funds as they need but still doing good job and having some quality players are giving them good chance for giving tough fight to top Premier League clubs even sometime they are a giant killer which is more interesting.

I was surprised to see that my report handle fast this time. I notice that guy post often times on gambling discussions and I honestly don’t see any sense on most of his post. I report some of them but my report accuracy decreased so I stop reporting post and just ignore guys that post like this. Yeah, I saw the topic about poor quality post construction in meta and most of them came from gambling board since this is most often the requirements on signature campaign. It’s really delightful to finally my report handle successfully this time.  Cheesy

Is there any news about the release of new version? The last time I saw update of admin here was it will approximately 2 weeks so I assume the update might reveal this month?
We need to realize that bitcointalk is a multi-million dollar business. Yes there could be some sort of issue with the fact that the forum looks like it's straight out of 2005, and they wanted to change it but it was quite difficult to change it without breaking the whole system. But, they are still a multi-million dollar company, go ahead and look at the auctions and how much money they are making just from that alone, on top of that they got a huge ton of donations back in the day as well.

This is why I honestly believe that the best thing we could do right now would be going with the renewable of the website, but also realize that no spam would go unnoticed.
203  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bear Market Opportunities - Forget "When Lambo" on: July 01, 2022, 02:19:25 PM
smart people will not forget LAMBO when the market is bearish, but greedy people will forget it,
and he remembers it when the market is Bullish, because it is very easy to get profit in a Bullish market than during a bear market like today,
but we must also remember ! that when bearish price becomes cheap, and that's our chance to get LAMBO!
Getting hyped about profits when everything is going up 10% per day is easy, doing that requires no brain and no talent and no skill. You will be able to turn your few thousand dollars in to couple tens of thousands of dollars during that period and you will be super happy.

However, turning your few thousands into retirement amount of money that allows you to never work again? That requires you to be hyped about the bear markets, because you won't just turn your 5k into 50k, you will turn that into 500k when the time comes. You will be investing not only into bitcoin, but you will make so much profit from bitcoin then you will spread it around in alts and make that kind of return as well.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $17.5K the low? on: July 01, 2022, 11:02:34 AM
I hope for the same thing, in fact I am 99% sure that everyone who holds bitcoin right now probably hopes for the same thing as well. However, just in case that it doesn't happen, we should also realize that the best thing to do right now would be getting ready for a big drop, not that we would want it to happen but we need to be ready if it happens.

I personally stashed some BUSD aside, not a lot but good enough to enter one more time which means that if it ever drops then I would be there to get in, and drop my average a bit more down. If it doesn't happen then I already have a good chunk of btc, which means I would be profiting from the increase anyway.
That is the better method for sure. There are tons of people out there who think that they could do as well as they imagine with the drop they could get a huge amount right away now and they would get a huge profit right away. If they could instead sit down and just think, they will realize that being ready for any case would be a better method.

I personally live all my life as a calculation of investments, what would happen if I do this, what would happen if I do that. It's like chess to me, and yes sometimes I lose, and that's normal because you can't win them all but usually if you are ready for everything then you are going to end up winning.
205  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: July 01, 2022, 08:18:14 AM
Actually those still waiting will never buy. They still need some sort of miracle to convince them. Some wait for lower prices and when the prices start rising they cry that they've missed the train and now is too expensive (no matter when that now is), some others are disappointed and sell now at a loss, claiming Bitcoin to be Ponzi and so on, and near the next ATH they may FOMO buy again.

As said, human psychology is very strange / counterintuitive. And also as said, whoever wants to buy, DCA is the easiest and best way to do it.
This is what I believe, people who are waiting even today will not end up buying and they will keep on waiting more and more. Many of them may even end up buying when the price goes up as well, which would be funny but it will happen for sure. Think about it, the price is 20k, and if they wait more for 15k, they may end up buying at 30k not to miss out on the profit making. If they just took the current situation seriously and bought it at 20k then they would have made a lot more profit.

All those people who will wait, will regret it later on. What would happen if they buy now? They will profit less, what would happen if they do not buy now? They would be too late and not profit for longer period.
206  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎥 YouTube Overview event for $10 000|🚀 BFG Listing Anniversary on: June 30, 2022, 04:30:09 PM
Something that only the success of the team can dictate the future profitable potential of this coin, staking or using it for your everyday gambling to earn some additional coins, it's up to you as long as you treat this investment as passive and you are not really being affected of the current crypto movement. Long-term wise, if you have good control over your emotion from both gambling and trading, you will have good chances of success.
I do agree that it’s up to you, but the idea seems alright to be fair. Think about it this way, if you look only in the token number approach, that means you will earn let’s say dividends, and then you will keep on spending that token to gamble and then repeat this constantly, technically speaking when you lose you even get some of it back since it's dividends from the losses which you helped.

So, you are not losing something, and even in a bear market that isn't really a bad approach at all. I personally do prefer it this way, it definitely makes things a lot better and it does bring a new level of approach to what we have been doing for years.
207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most of us have lived a world of USD dominance, but history changes on: June 30, 2022, 01:09:36 PM
Those are the latest 3 world currencies. We're about to enter the fourth one, Bitcoin.

It will take some time, but it will happen.
Right now it is a bit hard to imagine Bitcoins becoming the next world currency because the world is so divided and I am not sure if there would be a consensus all around the world to accept Bitcoins as the new world currency. There are two important aspects for a world currency that might be hard for Bitcoins to achieve. The first one is easier and could happen in a few years, it means that the world currency needs to be accepted all around the world by merchants and people to exchange for goods. For example, if we go to a small store in Africa, or Asia and want to buy some snacks than they need to accept Bitcoins as a form of payment. The only problem is if too many countries ban the use of Bitcoins it will be difficult. The second issue is that countries globally start using Bitcoin as currency to settle trade. All the major commodities would need to be quoted in Bitcoin price rather than USD for it to become the new world currency.
That is the biggest problem that is facing us, but also the best thing about bitcoin at the same time. Why? Because it would be insane to think US government, UK government, Russian government and the Chinese government all agreeing on the same thing, hell when it is about literally saving the world they still are up in races and disagree, instead of get together and save the world. This means that we should be doing as well as we can to hope that the public would agree instead.

So, it is hard because governments would never agree, but it would be awesome if all citizens of those nations get together and try to do something that is bitcoin oriented in the economy, spend that instead of the fiat they are told to use.
208  Economy / Gambling / Re: KYC casino or no-KYC casino, but with no bonuses/no cashback? on: June 30, 2022, 11:17:28 AM
If you were given a choice, would you play regularly in a cryptocurrency casino WITH KYC, and with added benefits like first deposit/welcome bonuses and cashbacks?

Or would you like to play regularly in a casino, WITHOUT KYC, BUT also without the welcome bonuses, cashbacks and other extra rewards?
For me I don't mind doing a kyc and of course I like it when they have bonuses because to be honest this is also one of the reason why I will wager on a casino. If ever there are no bonuses being offered I think I can easily quit playing a gambling, which is also a good thing I guess? Because there will be no more stress and no more losses for me.

For someone that are allergic with kyc, they will surely go for a non kyc gambling site and they can take it even if there's no bonuses whatsoever being offered. What is interesting is that a no kyc gambling site can still attract players even without bonuses and any other perks but a kyc casino cant possibly do that.
209  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: June 30, 2022, 10:04:38 AM
I did invest, bought some of them as I never did that one before so it was my first satoshis spent buying tickets, quite a good amount but our mind/my mind perceives it as if you have more tickets you are going to win, forgetting that there are 171 million tickets overall and your let's say 100K tickets are just a drop in the ocean,my brain or the brain of a gambler always fails to realize this and that emotion comes. Now I only buy tickets with the free rolls and the WoF spins and I don't expect any thing or any win.

For the GT,I will continue to wager only when the Promo of 5X reward points will be on so I can make some RP 5x faster by wagering.
I would guess that buying tickets is never the majority does, it is more like you get it for free. Sure there must be plenty of people who do buy as well, otherwise it would be a pure loss for freebitco.in, but they give out a lot of ree tickets both for lambo and for the weekly based on how much you gamble as well. Albeit, if you gamble that much on 5% house edge, you are bound to lose a bit as well so it is never really "free" tickets, but there could be a chance where you wager a lot and win as well, so it is not straight up taking your money. This is why I believe that it's quite important to realize, lottery tickets are not usually bought, it's earned.
210  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Brand Name Vs Site Functionality? Or Both? on: June 29, 2022, 04:41:27 PM
I have to say, I used to believe that functionality was more important, and I really believed that, it was something that I believed to the core and you would eventually get famous if you were a good place. But right now, I am looking at it and I have to say that the brand could mean at least as much, if not more as well.

The reality is that we are in a world where it is not going to be that simple, and we are going to end up with a bit of a problem in the long run. If you do not have a good brand, you are done, even if you mean the best, you will be done. Branding is not just brand name though, you gotta have a brand name, and also get a great reputation for that name as well.
211  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Kucoin vs FTX...which one do you recommend? on: June 29, 2022, 03:52:29 PM
The fact is that Binance is better than both of them, which begs the question, why pick one of these? What could be the reason to compare these two together? I have to say that the best thing we could do right now would be picking the best exchange, if not then why pick these two?

There are hundreds of exchanges out there, and the idea to pick binance means that you picked the best one and I can see that and understand why someone would do that, but if not then I wouldn't limit it to these two. I love coinbase, I love kraken, I love a few others as well, those are good too? Do not limit yourself to these two, that would not make any sense at all.
212  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook |250k$ Easter giveaway | VIP | on: June 29, 2022, 03:05:56 PM
Slots are purely luck based games, and, unlike knowledge or wealth, luck is not something some people have more than others. Just keep trying and you will also win one day. But by "keep trying" I don't mean roll and and roll endlessly until you hit something big. No, of course, not. It is very likely that you would just lose all your bankroll with that attitude. Rather, go to Duelbits if you feel like it, if you want to relax a bit from your main job. Make 50-60 spins with minimum bet possible, get your joy and move on. Good luck! Smiley
Even me i didn't have manage to win with this kind of shot i play a lot of low ball wage because i always do gambling management like limiting my self to my gambling games and wage to make sure i didn't get too much addicted and sometimes if i made a withdrawal i put some small amount in the wallet just to play a casual game of slot because cant withdraw anymore, i still didn't get a win with this i guess the luck is not with me everytime i play, still I've love to play with their free spins just for fun.
Slots are some places where you can see the wildest things ever, like crazy stuff. I remember my wife playing one where you could have a progressive win, meaning you could wager 10 cents, and lose it all, or there is a "special" bonus place that you go to, but that bonus place could give you another bonus, and could give you another bonus in loop forever if you are lucky, of course low chance but it was there.

My close friend plays so much, tens of thousands of hand per day, that once I remember her going to 7th bonus, which mean that her 10 cents became over a thousand dollars win and I mean just because of that. Of course she didn't even break even considering how much she lost overall, but that was a good period of her life, went for withdrawing that and bought so many things Cheesy.
213  Economy / Speculation / Re: “When” Will Bitcoin Price Break $69k All Time High? on: June 29, 2022, 09:16:52 AM
“I think given this price drop, from the all-time high of 68k to 20k now, it will probably take a while to get back. It probably will take a few months or a couple of years.”
For this statement, if it is really translated correctly, we should give the Nobel Prize, because behind such a clever statement there is certainly a science that has opened our eyes and will make us rich. The article is bad, the OP doesn't even understand the basic numbers, and CZ is talking nonsense at the level of an elementary school child - although there are a lot of smarter young people there who would say something more meaningful than him.
I guess it is not really a reasonable approach because it is not giving any definite date, but at the same time why take a risk and say a date that will get bitcoin back up again, he just said something superficial which will be right eventually. So, he is right that it will take a few months to a few years, and it is something we all know, so he is right.

Yes, it is not a great sentence and yes it is something even a child knows about, but that doesn't mean that he should have taken a risk and say something like "bitcoin price will break over 30k on November 23rd" or something, that would be the wrong thing to say and that is why he avoided something like that and said something a child could say to stay out of trouble.
214  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do not panic. Everything will get better on: June 29, 2022, 07:41:22 AM
This market moves and not everyone is happy with the profits that have been made. Instead, a sad mood covers the minds of new entrants who are suffering losses. I also went through a period where I saw losses every day and it didn't leave my mind; when it was all over, I knew the solution was to simply do your job well and then consider investing in something with the expectation of a return. A formula that I find quite simple, but if we haven't experienced it, it will be difficult for us to see how it is right.
Isn't it normal that people would be sad that they see their coins going down in value and while the whole world economy is doing badly, they wanted or at least expected bitcoin to do something different so that it would make sense to invest here? I agree that you could be losing a lot of money here and there, and we should be fine with that because as long as we do not sell, we will get it back.

But, there are plenty of people saying "I bought at 40k, wish I bought at 20k" and yes they will make their money back when it is 40k+ again, which will happen, but it would have been better if they bought at 20k, and people deserve to be upset about it, I would be if I bought there, in fact I did, I just bought at everywhere on all prices so I am not too upset.
215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin monetary policy on: June 28, 2022, 07:20:50 PM
Easily volatility. If I wanted regular boring investment, I would have invested into stock market and would make money that way, why would I do something like that when it is a lot easier to make a profit this way?

It's clear to me that the best way to make money right now would be to wait and earn that INSANE return, because crypto will be like that very soon, we have been down for nearly a year right now, or it is getting there at least during this Q4, and the return will be something crazy like 10x or even more.

Stable would mean that all of that would be gone, and what's the point of crypto investment if we are not going to lose a lot and earn a lot, we need to get that high ups and downs to make it different.
216  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: June 28, 2022, 06:29:34 PM
I believe that the number one thing that I always do is long term and will always do it. Number one is a weird thing because there are so many crucial stuff, like investing into silly idiotic stuff that are obviously bad but just liked because of a hype is something you should stay away from.

Or someone that promises you something too good to be true, usually is. But the long term one has helped me more than anything else, do not invest and wait for a response in a few days, invest and wait for at least a few years, it would be awesome if you could wait for at least a decade, that's how you make all that insane big number profits in the long term.
217  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲BetFury.io|🎥 YouTube Overview event for $10 000|🚀 BFG Listing Anniversary on: June 28, 2022, 04:25:55 PM
The cycle continues and the longer you take your stake, the better in the future. As long as the progress is happening and the business is still alive, there's no problem with the current setup. But everything depends on how the traders and investors understand the process. The investment side is like a passive way of generating profits while holding and waiting for the value to rise up.
I would guess that after you buy as much as you can, and then start staking it, rest of the situation is at the hands of the market. If everyone leaves and only a few people remains, it will be worth very little but you will make a lot more profit since you are one of the few that remains doing it.

If one day everyone comes back, the return for staking will drop, but the value of the token will skyrocket. So, best case scenario for everyone right now is getting in, hoping that everyone leaves, be worth little, stake a lot, then everyone slowly comes back, and price of it increases a lot when you staked enough. This is why everyone gotta start now in order to maximize the profit.
This is a good approach, leaving everything else to the market and not feeling any anxiety because it’s nothing to do with you. You could buy BFG, put it on stake, and then leave and not care about anything else after that. It’s true that the chance that BFG goes to zero is not 0%, it "could" happen but we feel it's unlikely and won't happen.

It means, the price going up or down is out of our reach and something we can't change, so why feel anxiety about it? This is why I personally believe that the best thing we could do is exactly what you say, just get in, stake, get the dividends, and then wait for it to go up, absolutely perfect investment method, can't see any downside.

Thank you for the replies brothers and to panjul07 for providing the link. Really helpful especially the calculator provided in the article. I didn't know I already wagered that amount to achieve the Bronze until now.  Cheesy It may take 3 more seasons before I reach the Silver if I stayed on the same pace of my gambling habit. It's okay and indeed it's one of the good perks of just having fun.
No worries, I won't bet blindly. I know a lot of sports but I don't usually bet on them because I am not comfortable with them yet.
Do not try to overwager your amount that you normally wager just to reach those levels. I would highly suggest that the best thing you could do right now would be trying to stick with your plan and do not get too much ahead of yourself. If you try to reach Silver by gambling more than usual, that will result with you losing a lot more and it doesn't worth it.

I personally think Silver and anything higher would be a great thing if it were to happen, and I felt amazing when it first happened to me, but that doesn't mean that it would be worth it to lose money, at least not just for that, lose while gambling of course if you have fun, but not to be silver.
219  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there a order a simple order for this case ? on: June 28, 2022, 10:25:23 AM
Well, it all depends on the kind of asset on question here. Let’s take for instance that you want to buy an asset with a very high marketcap and possibly, high liquidity; Let’s take BTC as the asset for example, then you’d need to make use of the market order; now the question is, how does market order help or what does it do? Market orders generally executes near the current sell orders or ask price. I actually choose to go with the market order because they are popular considering that they are a fast and reliable method of either entering or exiting a trade.

Limit order is can be use to set buy and sell in specific prices, but you need to wait until the candle stick reached your target price. If it didn't happen then your limit order still pending.  If you want to execute your trade immediately, i suggest use market order especially if you're sure on your analysis, so that as well you don't need to wait in every trade..
Well, to some persons, the limit order could be a good other to use in this case but at the same time, personally I realized that the risk inherent to limit orders is that it fails to execute your orders if the market price doesn’t fall within the order's guidelines. Another issue that may take place is that after reaching a target price, it may happen that there wouldn’t be enough liquidity to fill the order that was set, when its turn comes. I experienced this a few times when using the limit order, it wasn’t actually a very good experience for me, so I don’t know how it favours you!
