1081  Other / Archival / Re: European institutional investors are interested in cryptocurrencies on: October 31, 2020, 04:33:51 PM
It is not just about European ones, it is all over the world, USA has a lot of them with over a billion dollars invested just in the recent 8 months so we can say that the whole world is looking at crypto differently in 2020.

What this pandemic managed to provide to the huge companies that crypto is above them, in the sense that anything could happen to a company but crypto doesn't belong to one country or one company or one person, it is decentralized and it will not be affected by anything major the way other things gets affected, sure it will be impacted a bit but not huge like other places.

This is why I would say they are going into bitcoin and crypto, from USA, from Europe, from Asia and everywhere else people are getting into crypto for a "store of value" perspective to keep their wealth.
1082  Economy / Economics / Re: PayPal to allow cryptocurrency buying, selling and shopping on its network on: October 30, 2020, 08:14:35 PM
This is what the first transaction of buying bitcoin with PayPal looks like:

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire hinted that the function is now available for a limited number of persons.
Thanks, that looks really cool and I don't know when it would be allowed for all the users but the news alone lifted the market so I am not sure how the market would react when they will be actually able to buy Bitcoins with their paypal balance.

This is for sure the biggest adoption of Bitcoins because PayPal make no mistake is the biggest payment processor right now and them allowing the purchase of Bitcoins means that we are now just one step away from the mass adoption we often talk about. I would also like to know if we can send Bitcoins from our wallet to others? I mean buying bitcoins is great but if we can transfer those coins to others that would be even great because that simply means Bitcoins based payments on PayPal.
1083  Economy / Economics / Re: btc value and currency inflations on: October 30, 2020, 07:03:00 PM
If currencies (especially the US dollar) are highly devalued, it wouldn't have anything to do with Bitcoin and that means Bitcoin will be worth more in dollars, and those who bought at the early stage before that happens will benefit more from it.
Well, I don't really think so because the fall of USD would mean the fall of the whole share market and there will be chaos in the market which might actually affect the price of bitcoin negatively as we had seen during the initial stages of corona virus as the market dropped down even the BTC price was down even around $5k at time if I am not wrong.

I don't think there is any reason or news to back such claims but an interesting question and a good debate although I feel that there is no way that the bitcoins won't be moved by the drop in USD because all these markets are connected to each other and if USD drops to 50% value suddenly then BTC won't double it's value in USD suddenly either.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 30, 2020, 06:31:40 PM
My opinion is BNB because their system is similar then BNB has a backup of one of the largest exchanges in the world, namely Binance, whereas there are many other coins but not as potential as BNB.
The thing with BNB is as far as I know, they can only be used to reduce fees for the trades on the exchange so really not expecting a huge growth anytime soon or even ever in future. Yes the token will maintain it's value without a doubt but there is no real reason for BNB to take big leap.

In my view, it could be that TRX in the future will take the ETH position someday, currently there are many altcoins running using the Tron blockchain, which costs much cheaper gas than ETH.
That is true and trx runs at 0 transaction fees but just because it has no transaction fees does not make it a valuable coin because there must be some use case for the token and there should be some good scalable model behind them. Also being a POS token I haven't got into deep but there must be a way to maintain the token value for long time.
1085  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: October 29, 2020, 04:53:36 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.
This is the exact same thought process almost all the bounty hunters have as they do not want to wait and hope for better prices hence they want to dump as soon as the coin gets listed on the exchange at whatever the value is, if even it is 1/10 of the expected value. I don't want to say this mentality is wrong or needs improvement but frankly speaking sometimes if you wait you can earn so much from a single token which is more than you will earn with all the coins combined in your life.

It all depends on your financial situation and if you sell for a living then maybe it's right to sell asap but if you have enough stability and only earn these tokens for savings and enthusiasm then waiting might be worth it.
1086  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏈 NITROGEN SPORTS | NFL Survivor Pools with over 30 BTC* in GTD prizes! 🏈 on: October 29, 2020, 10:00:01 AM
Thanks for giving me incredible limits now nitro.
100$ on basketball, what a joke.
I don't bet ever on nitrogensports after their terrible behavior and various scam accusations against them but one thing you must know that every sportsbook limit users after winning and I have even even guys complaining about limits on stake.com which is a decent sportsbook so I believe limitation happens once you win a lot. But that said, the limits are usually set on e-sports because there is a higher chance of manipulation and even match fixing and they should allow higher bets on basketball and other sports.

I don't even know why you use them when they have so many ongoing problems and accusations but whatever the reason is, there are way better and far more popular sportsbook available if you can just visit the gambling section HERE
1087  Economy / Speculation / Re: PayPal to open up network to cryptocurrencies on: October 29, 2020, 08:49:38 AM
This is going to be a long term effect this is just a confirmation that they are going to add Cryptocurrency to their platform but once the platform roll up and once there are Cryptocurrencies transactions on going and PayPal is adding more Cryptocurrencies expect the market to react to that situation, this is the best time to buy for future reaction of the market that this news will bring.
I don't use Paypal personally but I am glad they made such a move because if anything it will at least bring a hike in the price of bitcoins as a lot of Paypal users who might not be aware of what are cryptocurrencies and how they work will now get into our market and the price should jump when new investors come and demand increases. Also there were guys who were worried if Bitcoins is just a bubble and if they should invest or not, with Paypal acceptance of Bitcoins they should be confident now and even more investors.

I hope this move from Paypal is followed by other dominant payment processors because really this is the big step towards mass adoption of Bitcoins we all often talk about.
1088  Economy / Speculation / Re: bitcoin price now and something interesting on: October 28, 2020, 07:05:09 PM
We are moving towards $20k like the good old days, I knew this day would come one day but I never knew when that would happen, I am very happy that it is finally here. I can't guarantee $20k obviously, I can't even guarantee staying above $13.5k for too long, maybe tomorrow we will be going down to $10k who knows?

But, I remember 2017 just like yesterday, it was just a month after month of regular craziness and around November it started to finally crack and it went up to a level where it was like $3-5k range and everyone was excited and thought that we reached a new high that would be there for a while, yet we broke over that by 5x and reached to $20k and nobody was believing what they were seeing. So at the end of the day I say this increases could be signaling to something much bigger.
1089  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin broke $13k today on: October 27, 2020, 06:28:42 PM
What will be our next target though? Like I know we are talking about 13k today but what do you put your eye on right now? I get that it would be quite important that people would be focusing on the happy part of the situation but we have to focus on the future of our profits as well, just because you made a buck today doesn't mean you will continue to make more money in the later stages neither, you could totally get nothing at all as well.

As long as we have a clear path and we know what to do, I am sure we will definitely find a way to put a new realistic increase but we are at a strange place where we do not have a short term profit idea. Sure we want to go to 100k, or even closer we want to go to 20k as well and break the ATH price but what is the next small step? 13.8k? 14.2k? maybe 15k? We have no clue.
1090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: In-play or pre-match staking on: October 27, 2020, 03:47:55 PM
Pre-live is always more risky because you get an idea in play for example there is a match between favorites and underdogs and somehow the underdogs make the 1st goal then you can always bet on the 2nd goal to come from the favorites because they get aggressive and the chances are high that they will find the next goal. These are little things that sound weird but really they give better chances than you would find on pre-live markets.

Wagering or staking is all about getting the best odds and making sure to bet on the highest possible outcomes even if they pay less. I have often seen draw-no-bet markets and the game is at 80 mins gone and score is 2-0 now draw no bet is the best possible market for staking because the opposition might score 1 or even 2 goals but surely not 3 goals without conceding one.
1091  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen next if the resistance breaks? on: October 26, 2020, 09:42:35 PM
I expect the dump to happen in form of market correction and since have surpass the resistance level i honestly dont know when the correction will happen because the Paypal cryptocurrency integration hype have totally change the market trend and the uptrend may happen more than expected. However, the correction will still happen during December till January next year.
Yeah correction doesn't seem to be a thing for now, people assume that just because whenever bitcoin price goes up a lot the correction will happen each time after that, but the reality is we didn't went up that much this time so it doesn't require a correction at all, that is at least what I believe, we went up like 10% and even not that much for now that is why I think correction is not required but also at the same time not every increase has a correction following that, even if there is a 20-30% increase doesn't mean it will be followed by a correction right away, it could go up even more for a long time before it could ever fall.

Obviously it will fall one day, but maybe it will go up to $20k once again until it starts to go down? We do not know when it will happen.
1092  Economy / Economics / Re: Why has crypto failed to break through still? on: October 26, 2020, 09:02:28 PM
I believe some posters don't understand the "WHY" of Bitcoin's continued existence. It's finding inefficiencies to make them efficient.

The centralized cryptocurrencies can be censored by the government, and would have to follow the rules. It would be stupid to use that to find an inefficiency in the dark markets to make it efficient. Bitcoin works simply because it can't be censored.

I agree that it's almost impossible for a government to censor the use of crypto currencies. They could make the use of cryptos illegal but to enforce such laws is very difficult. In the long run each country needs to find a way to accept and somehow regulate crypto currencies. I think almost everybody has heard of Bitcoin's by now. There is no way around it anymore. And am open government can actually profit from cryptos if they tax them.

The problem is like you said they can "tax" bitcoin but the truth is because the cryptocurrencies are decentralized and anonymous by nature it is nearly impossible to force taxation because I mean people who are innocent will only pay tax and one who wants to save tax can easily do so. Another problem with legalizing bitcoins is that a lot of fraud transactions are then increased because already so many hackers ask for bitcoins and once they are legalized it will be even easier for them to demand it.

I think Bitcoins don't really need to be controlled by the government and I believe the basic aim of making bitcoins was to eliminate the control and laws government impose on us. Let a decentralized system be as it and no need to put everything into the hands of the government.
1093  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - $1,000 Daily Race! 30% Rakeback! Advanced Dice Game🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: October 26, 2020, 07:42:44 PM
Life is a gamble, some small risks every day is normal imo so I dont see a problem with casual games, simple gamble so long its not over doing it and risking harm to budgeting then sure thats to be avoided.  The real issue is regulating the money you have to spend on games, I agree dont go spending everything you have daily because thats not healthy but the main deal is enjoying the game.  If its not happening enjoyment wise in just the game taking the chance wins then dont let it exclusively be about the money everyday or it can turn sour.
Noobs will likely to ain't normal but those who come earlier and knows exactly what is gambling will probably understand it. That chances of winning in gambling are just 50/50, and it sounds lucky enough if you can increase it but the reality is that, more gamblers had to lose that of winning. I'd come into gambling without thinking about winning but just I feel myself being pleased with what I do, and you're right, just enjoy the time spending your money. I think you are still winning also.
The chances are not 50-50 my friend because the house is not going running for a social cause instead they have a house edge which you should be well aware of and know how it works since you seem to be here for quite a while.

As long as there is a house edge you will have 49% winning and 51% losing chance in a 1% house edge and imagine how these numbers can change with a slight change in the hose edge. That is also the reason why everyone loves dice because it has lowest edge among all games while some games like slots and roulette have the highest house edge (live slots and roulette).
1094  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 💜 — No Tricks, All Treats 🎃Win a share of €1,000 every day! on: October 26, 2020, 06:01:10 PM
Is anyone else having trouble playing Fruit Zen slots by Betsoft on Bitcasino? The game will not load, no error messages or anything, it just hangs at the loading screen. I tested from my home connection and also a private collocation Sweden proxy. It doesn’t load on FortuneJack either. I’m curious to know whether the game has been blocked in some countries. I was playing anonymously without an account on Bitcasino.
It might be very well because the game might be blocked/restricted for some countries like you also mentioned. There might be another reason which is sometimes cookies which get stored in your browser as you play along and sometimes I also face issues with laggy games and white screen so I just clear my cookies and usually the problem is solved. Maybe you can try playing with a VPN if that's allowed on bitcasino because I am not too sure if they allow proxy vpn or not.

Bitcasino.io is so fast to answer feels really good you asked the doubt and they replied within 20 minutes. Some casinos' support doesn't even reply that fast in live chat Grin.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you think will become next Ethereum? on: October 25, 2020, 09:16:38 PM
Litecoin will be the next.
The way the season is going litecoin will be the next coin that will trend all over the market. This is the season of litecoin according to my research I carry out today show that litecoin will take over market soon.
You might be spot on because I heard recently even Paypal has decided to allow users on their platform to hold crypto coins and they have allowed only 4 coins fist up which include LTC among others and the price has been doing solid since then.

I believe though just because Paypal accepts LTC among other coins that might not be the only reason behind the recent surge of LTC and there must be some development news as well which I think I am missing right now. We do not need a new Ethereum or compare to ETH but there are many good coins like Cardano (ADA) out there and then there are massive tokens being made in the DeFi market as well.
1096  Economy / Speculation / Re: Your plans for the coming bull on: October 25, 2020, 08:25:55 PM
My plan is continue trading with my trading stash until BTC gets to $50,000s.
I don't want to sound pessimistic but 50k is a huge price and see I know the price will rise but the rise that happened over previous years was very sharp and quick because adoption rate was higher but now heavy adoption already took place and now slowly the value of bitcoins will increase I believe and 50k might take at least 2-3 years in my opinion.

Wait a year or so for BTC to crash back to near the 200 week moving average. Then start picking up Bitcoin on the cheap probably around $25k or so, using a bunch of the money I made from the bull run sell. Rinse, repeat for next market cycle.
That is what a lot of guys do but instead of 25k they did it at 6k when price earlier this year dropped and created mayhem among investors and traders but smart guys bought a big number of bitcoins that time and well rewarded for their trust. The market is funny one who panics loses his coins to one who has faith.
1097  Economy / Speculation / Re: history loves repeating itself. the only question is when! on: October 25, 2020, 07:07:26 PM
I do expect that a bull run is around to come at anytime soon. The season is getting turned on because of the end of the year. Volatility is the next to follow just as it happened in 2017. This year may not have been uptrend from beginning but it seem it has taken another turn.
Someone as experienced as you and who has 1400+ posts on forum I am really surprised why do you reply the same post twice in consecutive posts because you can easily give one answer and since you are replying to the same post. Please avoid this in future because this is normally considered as spam and not something appreciated by anyone.

I do expect that a bull run is around to come at anytime soon. The season is getting turned on because of the end of the year.
You might have a point actually and there is always a positive movement in the charts around late every year in Q4. But this time I feel like the price is going up for a reason and this might be because the investors are coming back into crypto after selling it earlier this year when everyone suffered and a lot of investors sold their assets to maintain their fiat portfolios and now they are getting back into action.
1098  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Airdrops Confusion on: October 25, 2020, 05:56:15 PM
Are those spreading all over around especially in this forum known to be an "airdrop" is considered an airdrop or bounty campaign since some of those are requiring people to fill up some of the forms or need to sign up or follow some social media accounts, etc?
Different airdrops have different requirements and the basic aim of an airdrop is to send some free coins to interested people but they require some work to be done like one may give out coins for just posting your coin address and name while some may ask you to link your social media and this is also done to ensure that participants are not cheating because abusing of an airdrop is common.

you did some task or work to get those coins.
I call them bounty if they require you to fulfill a particular task. Campaigns and airdrops are similar actually but the only difference is that while campaigns have a strict task you need to perform but airdrops are usually only to connect your social accounts or fill a small form and get your coins. Also airdrop coins are fixed but bounty campaigns payment usually varies from user to user based on how well they perform the task given to them.
1099  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: When You trade Do You use VPN? on: October 24, 2020, 08:42:35 PM
I don't need a VPN for trading, because my country does not prohibit using cryptocurrency as a digital asset. My country only prohibits using cryptocurrency for payments, so I can trade without using a VPN.
That's really strange because if the rules allow you to trade bitcoins for other coins then surely you should be able to spend the coins anywhere you want. I mean at the end of all trades how are you going to cash your bitcoins for cash then?

I don't think VPN can do much good in this case.  However, it is true that a lot of restricted things can be accessed through VPN.  However, I personally do not use any VPN and I feel comfortable with it.
I would never suggest using a VPN for accessing an exchange because you are moving towards the illegal side of crypto and it can be troubling if the authorities find that you are doing something like that and even the exchange can block your withdrawals at any instant if they detect VPN.

I do not know why people keep trying tactics that we know they do not work, exchanges are very smart, they know that some of their clients will try to use VPNs to hide their activities
I think if you purchase a dedicated VPN though you might easily be able to bypass any scrutiny from the exchange because VPNs are usually detected because of their common IP addresses.

Anyways I would still never advise using VPN to access any exchange that does not allow users from your country.
1100  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it seems to getting more difficult now to analyse cryptocurrency prices on: October 24, 2020, 06:31:14 PM
The price never been like that since I got here, it’s always been unpredictable. I have seen so many experts on the price that took their time and wrote an analysis on Bitcoin and at the end it never worked that. Only few times (two times to be precise) that I have seen people predict the price exactly.
Well, when the market was new it was actually possible to see the market swings and notice why those swings are happening but now that the market is so diverse and big it is actually impossible to predict the price and even the direction of the flow of market.

The market can go anyway, the best you can do is predict both ways so that if it doesn’t go the other way, then you’re certain of the other, that way you can be sure what actions to take if it’s negative. As far as I am concerned, never traders realized that market conditions are easier and favorable to them; it is always a challenging one and who are all able to ride along the market direction, enjoying the profits.
But, predicting it both ways is a bad idea to be honest because if you predict it both ways how would you even make your trades? I mean you buy bitcoins when you think the price is going to go down and you put sell orders when you think the price is going down in coming wave. If you predict both ways you are actually playing the wait game, so you wait for the market to go up or down and you react accordingly.
