1041  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is doing Pump & Dump before the US Election results are finalized on: November 09, 2020, 05:08:57 PM
If there is any downside it won't be anytime soon, there was a HUGE try for a sell push by the short future holders and there was a lot of sellers, we went under 15k and there was nearly a 5%+ fall, yet all of that was recovered in few hours back to over 15k once again. This is why I do not think that we are going to see any fall anytime soon, we are definitely going to see more big increases coming soon, not only because I think it could go up but because I believe there is no more sellers that believe price will fall.

When you convince sellers not to sell because price won't go down, you are handling something very important, that is at least half of the situation if not more, only thing left would be convincing buyers to buy because it will go up and that is already here anyway.
1042  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tax authority wants all crypto traders data on exchanges on: November 09, 2020, 04:21:12 PM
these regulations are like that, but it is very good for the future of crypto currencies,
because cryptocurrencies are recognized by the state, maybe taxes will be imposed on the condition, not all members are given taxes
There should be no reason one should trade on centralized exchanges if they don't want to pay taxes or evade them, there are so many DEX made for the exact same reason for people who wish to remain unknown and don't want to pay taxes. If paying taxes is right or wrong I don't want to get that debate going here but if you are using centralized exchanges you should be fine with the law enforcements as well.

till this day I still trade on binance without approving KYC verifications, since I'm not hitting the minimum requirements for KYC yet I will be fine, on data part centralized exchanges can't be trusted
You know Binance doesn't ask for verification for certain under limits but they can ask your verification if they found something fishy or they detect certain abnormalities.
1043  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Should i Invest more??? on: November 09, 2020, 03:49:38 PM
this profit is cool but i understand it wont be enough for you because of the heavy capital. all these are not quite popular but i know of them. curio and insolar is good , kindly do more research on them and take any little profit you see on them.
I was feeling so strange that how come I have only heard about insolar and none of the other 3 coins mentioned, maybe I am not a trader so I am not in touch with the market updates and news and hence never heard of these.

Personally I would be tempted to save the 20ETH profit and invest everything into bitcoins and wait for sometime as the BTC market is going boom right now and I know people might criticize me for always going stubborn and investing with BTC rather than bright and fresh opportunities in altcoins but my past has been disastrous with altcoin trading and even investing so I would rather be stubborn and earn than to be flashy and lose.
1044  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading losses on: November 09, 2020, 02:27:28 PM
People do not look at bitcoin the same way all the time, our views of bitcoin changes over time constantly, sometimes goes back to what it was and sometimes becomes much different. I started it out because I hated banks and I wanted my money to be in bitcoin, I moved into seeing it as a way to get paid globally for work I would do, it moved into investment and now it is more about freedom and not being tied to regular fiat world anymore.

All of these affects your trading as well, when you look at bitcoin differently you also trade it differently as well, when you look at bitcoin one way you trade it more frequently, when you look at it another way you hold it and not trade or maybe just sell. So basically what you think bitcoin is, would also be answer to what type of trading you would do.
1045  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Software That Copy Trades on: November 09, 2020, 08:51:53 AM
If you're looking for copy trading as a third-party tool which can be incorporated into any platform then I guess, this will not be working in such a way. It is still in the state of exchange/broker specific services like they are having software developed for getting you signals when professional traders open trades.

There are lots of exchanges/brokers are offering copy trading feature for forex and stock markets but all of them are not free of cost. You must need to pay a subscription fee for availing those signals for copy trading (I believe you that a share will be paid to those actual trader for encouraging them to continue sharing their trades for other traders to copy).
1046  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading in the pandemic on: November 08, 2020, 09:17:47 PM
many trader are still worry about the market if there is still hope for them to make a good income just because  of what covid-19 has caused in the world trade.
The crypto market wasn't influenced much to be honest and some even believe that the crypto market actually had a positive impact overall from the pandemic.

Many trader are yet to recover from the loss they experienced during pandemic that caused so many of them not to recover yet from their trade. Some trader learned their lesson from the pandemic which change them not to hold their coins more than a year not to experience loss again.
Most of the coins and tokens are moving up now as BTC price is going up since sometime now and I don't know which tokens are going down because almost all the coins in my portfolio are only showing green positive change in the last around 1 month or so. Pandemic was horrible and still not over completely but the crypto market didn't had much of a problem with it, at least that's what the prices and the movements suggested.
1047  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Official betting partner of ARSENAL FC 🚀 on: November 08, 2020, 08:45:14 PM
My bets on US elections are now being settled finally as I had multiple bets on various state betting and I saw that the Michigan state betting was graded so guys need to be a little patient and we all know how hectic the whole election time was as Trump even said he would challenge things into court which might have mixed things further for odds provider.

I am really surprised that how Biden suddenly won all the states even the ones which were clearly looking like in the pocket of Trump like the Georgia one which was always looking like the Republicans got it, but if I am not wrong Biden got that one too.
1048  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sportsbook - US Election Madness 🚀 🎰 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 🎲 on: November 08, 2020, 08:05:27 PM
All my settled bets, gone.
There was a small downtime sort of thing and I asked support and as always they quickly told me that I don't have to worry much because it was a small bug and it was fixed pretty fast to be honest and yeah being a sports bettor it foxed me too because I was trying to get the bet id from winning bets to submit into the forum challenges and the settled bets page showed no settled bets. It was fixed though and worked fine after that.

Love everything about stake but wanted to say the limits on CSGO betting are really shrinking to poor numbers for some reason and at times I am not allowed to make more than $10-15 bets which is really bad. I mean please fix this if possible and I am not a big winner on CSGO either.
1049  Economy / Economics / Re: Here is a conspiracy theory on: November 08, 2020, 06:51:30 PM
Obviously conspiracy theories are something people make up to have fun, some people believe in them as well but thankfully they are not really that big in numbers and can't really do much about it even if they were, there are tons of people who still do not believe that humanity went to moon when you can literally watch space rockets go up with your own eyes these days (obviously you have to be there) so it is understandable that there are people who fall for these.

However this one is a bit too extreme isn't it? I mean from just a vaccine to suddenly nuclear war? Isn't that like at least 100+ years of troubles all compacted into one problem we have now? Vaccine will probably happen sooner or later, it could happen a year from now or two years but it will happen, we are not going to see these type of huge problems in just few years, no way.
1050  Economy / Economics / Re: After elections end this year for all countries, we are all screwed on: November 08, 2020, 04:57:12 PM
Obviously lockdowns are not something we are going to see again, there could be some limitations, like let's say "no clubbing after midnight" or things like "no gatherings over 50 people", I am making up limitations and don't know what they would do, would change from state to state as well but the maximum they could do would be stuff like that, it wouldn't be a lockdown but it would have some sort of rules.

The best one would probably be having limited customers in a shop compared to unlimited, that would allow a lot of spreading out if it comes to that. However new governments could definitely try to tackle this better because it will be the first thing they will be judged with, Trump was criticized for not caring enough so Biden has to care a lot to show he is different.
1051  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A gambler living in England makes a $5M bet on Trump on: November 07, 2020, 10:12:23 PM
Too bad he choose the wrong one. However I don't think it will bother him no one will place $5M on a single bet for sure this person is really rich that he can manage to lose that $5M easily.
Yeah, there are guys who bet 1 million on UFC so betting 5m on elections is not a big deal for some guys. I saw a few guys on stake making huge bets Trump vs Biden and I was surprised to see the amount of interest because usually people from other countries don't have much interest in who is gonna win and I myself don't have much interest.

There are guys who make 10 BTC bets regularly at stake, sportsbet.io and others and 10 BTC is more like 1/6 or 1/7 of a million and they don't even make news so crypto market has some juicy gamblers indeed and there are guys who don't want much attention for their bets to maintain their privacy.
1052  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why most of us are losing money in sports betting? on: November 07, 2020, 09:38:21 PM
we are talking about sports betting, don't just bet blindly.
I sort of agree but you know whenever I analyze games and make bets then I always end up on the losing side but when I just take random picks then I often win, so I mean yes we should analyze and bet but at times I feel like betting random ain't a bad idea either as long as you have basic knowledge about the sport.

Doesn't mean that a team is good it will win all of its games without losing. There are factors that we can look into to analyze teams, players, games or matches before it can happen so we have the upper hand. Though there is a reason why it is called gambling, you can't actually tell which teams will win so we just find a way to increase our chance of winning or minimize our loss.
True and no matter how much you analyze because those odds provider are always doing the same and they have a dedicated team who provide odds I believe so they must be better than us in terms of analyzing and providing correct odds so it is hard to beat them and no matter how sweet a bet looks like it always has chance of losing, unless it's obviously fixed.
1053  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: November 07, 2020, 06:53:17 PM
I would say Leicester wolves game will be as equally entertaining as the city vs lfc as well. People are focusing at the top games for tomorrow but they are not looking at what could be done with the Leicester game, I personally put some money on Leicester to win but I am not entirely sure, it could be anything out of that game too.

I agree that lfc looking like they are going to win tomorrow, they are much better team in shape, city had a bad start of the season but they are recovering and honestly they got the momentum going for now but that doesn't mean that lfc will be swept that easily, so maybe they will stop cities momentum before it gets bigger. Plus Villa and arsenal game looking good too, normally I would say arsenal but this year I am not so sure about it.
1054  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin on Track for USD 100,000 in 2025 on: November 07, 2020, 06:04:38 PM
What are your plans when it reaches $100k? I have always seen people who talk about how bitcoin will be over $20k (which is quite realistic right now) $50k, $100k, $400k, 1 million and many more things like that, they want bitcoin to increase the way it increased back in the day so they could be super rich as well. I wouldn't be rich even if bitcoin reaches to 1 million dollars each because I do not even have 1 bitcoin.

However these people who wants to see it at $100k each must be rich in bitcoins in order to be wealthy when that price reaches, they need to have tens of bitcoins in order to be a millionaire, do they? I do not care about price going that high because I do not have one bitcoin, which means I think price staying right around here for a longer period so I can accumulate more bitcoins would be much better for me.
1055  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is getting ready for 20k again on: November 07, 2020, 08:31:00 AM
Everyone is acting like $20k is a given thing just because we broke over $15k, I do not understand where the confidence towards bitcoin comes from, I love bitcoin myself and have always been an investor but I do not trust it as much as you guys do with the short term gains. Basically I do believe that bitcoin will move beyond $20k without a doubt, that is not even a question of "will" bitcoin reach above $20k because I know in my gut that it will go over $20k one day, but I am not like you guys and I can't guarantee something like that in short term.

I could say that it could happen in the next few years, that is a realistic and definitely believable approach, but if you ask me what is going to happen in the next 1 month? I would not be able to tell you the answer for that.
1056  Economy / Speculation / Re: Altcoin still feasible? Profit or loss? on: November 06, 2020, 08:42:25 PM
Altcoins were always there for grabs but people got scared, nobody said things would stay low with altcoins and you know that altcoins are legit good investments as well (not all, but there are few who are great like ETH) and that means when they go down, you should see that as a way to get more of them.

I increased my ethereum position at 384 for example, because I knew that it would go over 400 very soon and thanks to ETH 2.0 news the price is now over 430 dollars. I didn't make a big profit from this move, under 100 dollars profit, but I did realized that it was possible to make that move, if you saw the altcoin prices going down and assumed it was a doomsday situation, you were very wrong to begin with because alts will never stay low forever.

However now we see bitcoin AND alts going up together so we know that is possible and people may use that information in the future.
1057  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safeguarding funds , your funds on exchanges are safe? on: November 06, 2020, 11:37:13 AM
These are like the normal things that everyone needs to know, though the one of going all on a trade is something that I am not sure about, unless you just invested an amount that you have plans to trade with straight from your wallet then you can decide to go all in with it and if you happen to lose you can still buy back with your money that's stored on your wallets.

Whenever you make a profit it's a good idea to withdraw some of the profit to your original and secure wallet and then continue with the other money that's left on the exchange . You have good tips except for the going all in on a trade.
1058  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 06, 2020, 10:58:16 AM
Okay, that IDO is a new word for me, I have never seen that before, Initial Dex Offering.
Well now that I do, later I will look into it and understand it better.

As for which one is the best, maybe IEO and ICO, but if you say which is more safe I would say that IEO and STO are more safe.

STO might even be the one that is more safe because the methods that are involved, and by the way it’s the most difficult among them, it’s not an easy project to launch.

IEO might be safe because of the Exchanges that they are being launched with.

In a way, ICO is really cool, and I think people like it, because we have seen all these new ones trend and then within a short time they stop trending, while ICO still continues to live.
1059  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Help us to validate our business model! on: November 06, 2020, 09:00:31 AM
People here will not agree to fill a Google form, seems like you're still new around here, everyone is concerned about their privacy. No one is going to be giving away their email to answer your question. So, it would be best for you that you drop all those questions here in the forum and also set up a poll if you want, and people will answer every question in the comment section.

And as for the idea you have, it's a good one, and if you think you can be able to push the idea, then why not go ahead with it? Although I think you're going to be seeing a lot of competition. You want to offer services to merchants to be accepting cryptocurrency, and right now PayPal is doing the same, so you might have to give it a thought and know if you're able to put up with this.
1060  Economy / Gambling / Re: Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 commission on LTC investments is at 35% till 31. Dec on: November 05, 2020, 09:20:11 PM
you never know though, now doge is the one being killed by players
Yea, sadly almost all doge investors are in negative profit for now. Only few of them still in profit, those who have invested more than 6 months ago and when the whales already stopped.
Never though site's profit was 119million doges can be take down to 108millions right now, with only 0.5% max profit from bankroll.
That is the thing about investing into a casino, you do take the fact that you are with the house edge and you are probably going to make a profit in the long run, but you have to eat up here and there big wins from some gamblers time to time. It is not going to be a steady income forever, it is a casino, there are days maybe someone will lose hundreds of bitcoins here, and there will be days maybe they will win, that is the risk factor involved in casinos.

You are not investing into a manufacturing factory that produces something steadily and profits, it is a high risk high reward investment. Which is why I think it is quite important to realize we need to be calm on days like these where people do end up profiting from gambling in order to be able to say we profited on the other days when gamblers lose.
