1  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Some Countries living behind their century, taking a back sit on BTC evolution. on: September 17, 2023, 05:46:00 PM
Awareness is for the general public, and the bans and restrictions are put by the governments who are always well aware of everything they do these things deliberately because most of them find Bitcoin to be a threat to their traditional financial institutions since people will slowly convert their storage of wealth and savings from those institutions into Bitcoin and the governments don't want that to happen hence they are imposing bans and restrictions on it.

I'm pretty sure that in all those countries, people are very much interested in using Bitcoin, I can see a lot of people from Bangladesh on this forum who are still involved with cryptocurrencies despite their government being pretty strict regarding the ban they've imposed. So, it's not the ease of access of use that is stopping these nations, it's their governments.
2  Economy / Speculation / Re: Good time to sell? on: September 17, 2023, 04:48:09 PM
Do you have a set "goal" price at which you'd be selling no matter what happens? Do you intend to sell incrementally as the price goes up? Or maybe when the price gradually drops (e.g. it goes down for X days in a row), indicating we're past the peak?
I have set my goal to sell some part of my bitcoin assets by the second quarter of 2025 that's when I deem fit that the crypto space will be experiencing a bull run by then. Whatever price I see by then, I feel like if I have gotten the profits I desire from Bitcoin investment, nothing stops me from selling some part of my Bitcoin. The rest of the bitcoin not sold will be kept by applying a DCA strategy to it
It's all about reaching your financial goals and desires and the approach you are talking about is exactly what everyone should practice so that they don't miss an opportunity. If I have bought Bitcoins worth $500 when it was priced at $25k and when I see I'm getting $1.5k for my Bitcoins, I will probably sell 50% of it so that I get my initial capital and some profits on top of that, and I will hold the remaining balance to see if the price goes up more or not.

If I see the market is declining, I will probably sell the remaining Bitcoins as well so that I don't get my profits cut down, but if the market keeps going up, I will also sell them in portions as you said so that I keep getting more profits as the market moves forward, that's how it should be for everyone.

Real Madrid would win bigger but with unlucky and inaccurate finishes as well as some good saves from Liverpool goalkeeper Alison Becker, Real Madrid could not score more than one goal. Real Madrid totally dominated the match and they would have won bigger than just a minimal win.

With older Modric and Kroos, Camavinga will play more important role in next season and maybe Modric will end his time in Madrid after this season.

Sweet 2.25 mBTC! I take that, haha! Let's see how it goes with the Europa League tomorrow.
Am I the only one surprised that Serie A clubs are very successful in Champions League this season. They have 3 clubs in quarter final round and will their clubs can continue this impression in Europa League? Roma and Juventus look are good to be two Serie A clubs will go to next round of Europa League.
Honestly by that logic we could have seen Curtois saving so many shots as well, that dude plays his best ever games against Liverpool, without those amazing saves and some unlucky shots that just barely missed, Liverpool could have scored enough to go to next stage as well, up until second half they tried their hardest, I would give the first half to Liverpool easily, they played so well and had so many chances.

However, after all of them were saved or missed, they lost some hope and realized they won't go to next stage, which is why they started to play worse and of course eventually Real scored. Even the goal was lucky, VVD couldn't hit it and missed, so the ball found itself in front of a wide open Benzema.
4  Economy / Service Discussion / virtual debit card for non-EU? Virtual card for samsung pay? on: December 23, 2022, 09:01:40 PM
Any trusted services for getting virtual debit card for the resident of non-European Economic Area (EEA)?

I checked that all crypto loadable cards are available only for EU residents. Is there any service for all others with at least virtual card.

Is it possible to avail any banking services through online registration only?

Google may help me but I look for suggestion/opinion from people with recent real personal experience. Thanks in advance.
5  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 31, 2022, 08:32:58 PM
Tomorrow we have two games first is going to play between Sri Lanka vs Afghanistan and second is England vs New Zealand both matches will be played at Brisbane where today have big scoring match between Australia vs Ireland so if we have good weather condition then surely we are going to have another day with fully entertainment in cricket because this is favorable for both teams Afghanistan and Sri Lanka and both have quality spinners even Sri Lanka is better in batting, but surely things could be not easy for them against Rashid, Mujieeb and Mohammad Nabi which are looking for their first complete match after two abandons.

Second match is going to decide who is going to be favourite for top two slots from this group because I was feeling good about England and New Zealand but suddenly Ireland done big upset and now if tomorrow England lost their match then most chances they could be out of the race, so they have to win with this win they could be level on points with Australia and New Zealand then have their last match against Sri Lanka and New Zealand is going to play their last game against Ireland and Australia vs Afghanistan look like NRR is also going to be important for these all.
6  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 28, 2022, 06:14:08 PM
Easy win for Chelsea as Brighton are consistent in their form ever since Graham Potter left the team. Brighton might try as well to draw the game but blues always know how to pinch the defendlines of the seagulls Albion. When Graham Potter was still managing Brighton, they took a new turn around this season and was in competition for the top four, but when blues offered him bid and he accepted, that's the beginning of downfall of Brighton. Although they had a new manager, but he's incompetent and doesn't know the knot and tie of the team, how they operate, the new boss needs to settle down and examine the club. Graham Potter have not lost a game since his arrival as Chelsea coach, can Brighton be the first team to break his winning streak?
You never know what will happen on ground on match day because it's never been easy for any team to have full three points from away game even right now Brighton is the worst team in Premier League and after change of coach they are facing consequences which are going to be more troubled for them if they are not able to have improvement in performance even right now Chelsea is clearly favourite for this match, and we have no hope of better result from home side but still things could be change and Brighton can change their fortune from this match which is also not bad at all now race for top four is going tough with too many teams are on same level and improvement in quality and performance can give them better results now we have few games than long break and transfer window surely can have big impact on many teams.
7  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Mining Will Be Banned Due to Fears of Climate Change? on: October 26, 2022, 06:11:20 PM
It is already banned in some countries but some banned it for different reasons and not totally because of climate change nor btc is PoW. Not only btc but all cryptos are banned on them as well. Not all governments are the same.

If you live in a country with a more strict government then they won't give any consideration but ban btc and btc mining while for others, they will encourage miners to use renewable energy. If not then they will banned it as well but miners can't disagree with it since governments will also help them financially, so I choose the third option in the poll. On the second option of the poll, maybe you mean mining will be less in demand after it?
8  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Free NFTs are a waste of time on: October 20, 2022, 05:20:41 PM
I think these free nft's are the same to those airdops (free tokens and altcoins). You will mostly get useless nft but if you got lucky then you can make a fortune with them.

If you value your time then you better use them on something that is more worth it like working in a real job so that you can earn a guaranteed money but if you still have a free time and you don't know how to spend it then you can gamble your way on them and who knows? Just like the airdrops, some of these are not totally free but you are required to pay some gas to mint the nft. I remember there was a pepsi nft giveaway last time but I didn't participate it for that reason. I regret it later on because the nft's are being sold at a high price.
9  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: August 03, 2022, 09:18:59 PM
Basically Juventus' performance declined after its dominance was taken over by Inter and Milan in two consecutive seasons but even so, Juventus can still be in the top four in those two bad seasons. So that way, Juventus will always have a chance to win the title and with the changes made in this transfer window I personally strongly believe that Juventus will be the team that might come back to take over that dominance. Regarding Roma, I am also a little optimistic that they seem to have a very big new motivation after Dybala's arrival. Maybe, Mourinho will be able to maximize Dybala's abilities at Roma, we will not know for sure the result but at least they always have big ambitions to be able to compete in the title race.
If Juventus can do good in bad shape with having every time spot into last four which is good achievement for them with this now they are improving quality and doing some good positive changes for next season which can surely give them good result, and now we have three-way race for title in coming season with still both Milan teams are in good shape and Juventus is also doing good.

Roma could be Dark horse for next season because they achieve good result in last season against all odds, and now they are also well-developed with Mourinho doing good some and Dybala is going to be good plus for them if he is able to transform them into good shape then surely we can expect some good and extraordinary result from them, and they can settle at top very strongly because few other teams in Serie A are struggling badly.
10  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready to embrace physical bitcoin? on: July 07, 2022, 06:52:50 AM
I do not think I can actually support this particular development because I see it as a backwards growth. If there is no other reason for the loss of value of the fiat physical currency – it is for the fact that it was made physical and people were given the access to have it in large quantities without any significant thing happening to the actual value.

Unlike the digital Bitcoin, where it increases and drops, thereby commanding value to itself.
We are in a digitalized world already, making Bitcoin physically simply just does not tally.

16  Economy / Economics / Re: German Authorities Shut Down Russian Darknet Market, Seize $25M In Bitcoin on: April 05, 2022, 09:44:35 PM
25 million dollars is nothing in the grand scheme of things. That is basically one days worth of energy Russia gets paid from just a single nation let alone all of Europe. They may not be aware of this, but it is really a tiny amount. Of course putting bad people in jail and getting their money is a big deal, it shouldn't matter if they were Russian or not, and even if it was, it is still great that they were caught and the money was confiscated as well.

We had like billions of dollars owned by Russian oligarchs frozen and seized, if that didn't hurt Russian economy then I do not know what would. Definitely not some darknet getting shut down.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I invest in new projects? on: April 03, 2022, 06:56:56 PM
I think it will be very important if you should look at the community and level of engagement on this project before you start investing in it. Although if it's a new project then you can maybe still invest in it, if it really seems like a good project to you. As time goes on if it is really a good project then the community will grow stronger and also the level of adoption will grow as well.

I have seen so many other gaming project. And to be sincere I have even seen projects that are far much better than this one. I have clicked the link you posted and checked out the website. It doesn’t really seem like a big deal to me. Though I didn’t really go to through whitepaper to read all that. but it is still up to you. Just do your research.
18  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Worst exchange you experience for trading on: April 03, 2022, 02:58:50 PM
I don’t know why anyone would choose to make use of an unknown exchange, that is something that I have never tried since I started trading cryptocurrency. I have always made sure that I’m making use of reliable exchanges and the ones that are well-known in the crypto-currency market.

The exchanges that I have made sure to stick with are binance.com, coinbase.com and these two exchanges has really served me pretty well when it comes to trading cryptocurrency especially binance.com.

I've always considered making use of unknown exchanges as a huge risk because I don't have enough money to risk on all that, so it is best that I just stay safe and not mess around with what I have. I have been scammed once, though not through an exchange, but I wouldn't like to experience that twice.
19  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 03, 2022, 01:11:19 PM
I don’t really think that it is all about how much you’re able to make from your investment on Bitcoin, what matters the most is what you’re able to reproduce with that amount that you have got.

Yes, one million dollars ($1,000,000) doesn’t make you rich in the first world countries, but you’re still kinda rich though. With that amount of money you’re able to start a good business and that can build you through to a higher level more than what you have got from BTC.

Bitcoin is not meant to change your life but it can help you to kick start and get better. The money I have invested in Bitcoin is what has helped to reach the level I am currently at. And I have been able to make more and invest back in BTC a bigger amount. Long term holding of bitcoin will do magical things as it will start production good returns on exponential growth.
20  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Understanding "When" to trade. on: April 03, 2022, 08:48:29 AM
Every trader should make sure that they really understand themselves and how things would really work for them. I do see traders who are trading on a daily, and they are able to make profit. Maybe I would say it's because they have better skills, and like you have said anyone who is trading should only go in at the time when they feel it is right for them to do so, so I believe that these people will also be doing the same. So, it’s all about what you can do, just stay at that.

Then I would like to add that it is very important that we keep our emotions in check, and know when to trade. If we are having a bad day, it is very important that we avoid trading, because most times our mind would be messed up and we wouldn’t be able to focus enough to be able to trade perfectly.
