161  Economy / Economics / Re: USD Inflation over the last century. Bitcoin can protect you even in the US. on: June 16, 2021, 11:29:52 AM
You’re right of course, Bitcoin can protect your money, same thing as other good assets there are. Even before Bitcoin was developed there have been other ways that people has been using to store their value so that they don’t end up losing money because of inflation.

Although right now bitcoin seems to be a better choice because of how much you can make from it, which is as a result of the price volatility. So there is no doubt about that, and a lot of people who have been investing for long, including have witnessed it. Bitcoin has changed a lot of people’s lives, and took them to a level that could have taken them years to achieve.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Gas Fees Drop on: June 15, 2021, 08:40:31 PM
Honestly, $2 in one transaction we can say is still a bit expensive if we compare it to Binance Smart Chain,
but at least Ethereum transaction fees are going down little by little and hopefully that will continue,
We'll see what happens and I hope it's cheaper
That is exactly the reason why we are not seeing anything suddenly dropping like crazy in the BSC world, binance is still holding strong and pancake is still getting a ton of volume, why? Because ethereum is still quite expensive compared to bsc, however that is still a fine deal.

I personally like bsc a ton more and I will keep using it even if the prices were equal (gas fee) because for some reason that looks a lot better polished and ready whereas erc20 ones are rarely any good, that is probably because all the talented ones started a project in BSC during this past 6-8 months because eth gas fee was high and now that it is a bit lower maybe there will be some good new ones there but for the time being there weren't all that plenty starting as erc20 tokens because it was such an expensive one. Let's hope that we will end up with more competition soon.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽UEFA EURO 2020 Discussion Thread | Current Phase: Finals in June 2021! on: June 15, 2021, 08:06:14 PM
Spain and Sweden game was really fun to watch there were ton of great positions and its sad that both teams failed to score but it is good that they had a draw, it was totally a 2-2 type of game if you looked at the positions and not the score. France vs Germany is another key game, it is really a shocking fact that they are in the same group but two teams go up the groups so its fine, I think it will be a sad group for portugal and hungary but rarer things happened in football so if one day I wake up and someone tells me "france and germany is eleminated, portugal and hungary is moving to next stage" I would be surprised a bit but I wouldn't say its impossible in the world of football neither.

This is why this is a very important game, hence why the draw is such low odds compared to most other games, there is really no team clearly better, the highest odd for france is 2.74 and lowest for germany is 2.74, think about that.
164  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits Self Exclusion NOT Honored on: June 14, 2021, 08:26:31 PM
Those addicts in gambling will blame everyone but never themselves, op should not blame Duelbits if they are late in implementing the exclusion they have thousands of users and this is the least of the issue that needs to be resolved if Duel bits can't do it right away, you should have the control to do it, but you cannot because you have no control and you blame Duelbits for something that only you can control, stop gambling and practice having control first.
Maybe he should have changed the password to something random and forget it lol. Unbelievable to think he is now blaming the casino when he intentionally deposited and wagered by himself. I feel bad for OP but he is the one to be blamed here eventually.

You can't blame casinos for your own addiction. Just like fast food restaurants, no one forces you or me to eat over there.
I was wondering the same since nothing stops him from playing at other casinos if one casino restricts his account. He should not have been allowed to deposit and wager right but that is just a mistake from the casino, not a scam. And he was fully aware that he is gambling again, would he complain had he won? Obviously not.
165  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Sportsbook is ON 🏟️ Advanced Dice Game 🎲 2.000 Bets/s⚡ on: June 12, 2021, 08:23:04 PM
The sportsbook part was something you guys always wanted, I knew that wolf.bet worked on this for a long time and they have managed to make a good progress and now we are here. At the end of the day we are only as good as what we dream to become, they dreamed big and they are here now.

I know book is not really a huge deal in crypto world nowadays because almost all places are adding it, but it is also not that easy to become a good casino and then change moves to make something bigger, so they are actually working to become something bigger and better and we should respect that. I haven't tried yet because all my sportsbook bets were a different bookie, but I will surely use some of my deposit on sports instead of casino at some point to see how it is. That way I am sure that I will still like this place, they are so good at casino, can't see them not be as great in book part.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Human productivity on: June 12, 2021, 07:16:20 AM
In the past, people farmed and exchanged the surplus grain harvested in autumn for rare, unchanging gold. Then give the gold to a trusted person in exchange for his IOU. When you finish eating your own grain, you can exchange the IOU for gold and then exchange for grain.
I really don't know what IOU was but money serves the same purpose if you think of it. You farm and change it for gold/money and later you can use it for any purpose.

In fact, in a few years, I often imagined how to send money conveniently on the Internet. After thinking of Bitcoin, I found that Bitcoin, which has solved scarcity, trust and immutability, is money itself, and it is digital gold that is easy to use.
I myself use Bitcoins but I think online transactions were already easy to make because a lot of payment processors existed for years and decades now. The real problem that Bitcoin solved was transparency and chargeback problems that were always associated with other payment options.

Bitcoin although solves a ton of problems still remains a hesitant payment option because the time of confirmation is usually 10-15 minutes and not every transaction has the liberty of allowing so much time. You cannot pay at a gas station, coffee shop and other places where you don't want to wait.
167  Economy / Economics / Re: Preparing for a capital gains tax increase (US) on: June 11, 2021, 12:45:07 PM
I don't think there is any proposal to eliminate the ability to offset capital losses to capital gains

Imagine that you made $2 million in long-term BTC gains by buying in March 2020 and cashing out 100% during the highs of 2021, and then you decide to put all of your money into shares of AMC. Then you realize in April of 2022 that you owe over $800k in taxes. At that point it's too late to apply capital losses, since it's now the year after you made the gains. Capital losses don't carry backward at all, and they only carry forward a very small limited amount per year. In this scenario, you have to hope that your AMC shares are still worth at least $800k, or else your net worth will probably now be negative.

Quote
It is far more likely that inflation will exceed norms to the upside than it will to the downside.

I'm very curious to see how it plays out! These are unprecedented economic times in many ways.
It is rare that I end up responding to the man himself! However one thing I am wondering (serious question), if you are earning, and then you are paying taxes for what you are earning, then you do not stop and you end up losing money to taxes, isn't that a sort of good thing for the population? Sure horrible for you but sounds good for the population isn't it? I mean you DID make that profit, then you basically restarted again to make a profit and ended up a loss, that's normal.

If we didn't taxed people until they sell and get out, that would be basically someone buying a stock and not selling it until they die and that would make the community bad because there are people making tens of billions of dollars profit while not selling anything at all, which would be bad for the taxes. At the end of the day, I would prefer people to pay taxes on their profits, and if they want to sell and get out that's fine, if they stay in, aren't they taking that risk?
168  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin (crypto) worth anything at all?? on: June 11, 2021, 09:41:05 AM
Almost everyone has that kind of thought when they were growing, and I did have this same and always wondered why they never did this until I started growing up and understood how money (or economics in general) works. And as for bitcoin, sometimes you have to take the risk, because when you don’t, you might be missing an opportunity of a lifetime.

The value of bitcoin comes from its scarcity, divisibility, utility, and transferability. These are not what I am going to be explaining one by one, I think it’s up to you to do your serious research and get full understanding on this.

And moreover another thing is the belief that we have for Bitcoin, when people believes in something, that means it is going to stay literally forever.
169  Economy / Economics / Re: Human productivity on: June 11, 2021, 08:41:51 AM
In fact, in a few years, I often imagined how to send money conveniently on the Internet. After thinking of Bitcoin, I found that Bitcoin, which has solved scarcity, trust and immutability, is money itself, and it is digital gold that is easy to use.
I simply see Bitcoin as Bitcoin, and not as gold as some of you would always say. I feel that the both of them are totally different. I do know that they are both being used as a store of value, but Bitcoin is not the only asset, neither is it the only cryptocurrency, that can be used as a store of value.

There are lots of other assets out there that are being used as a store of value and also for transactions, why are they also not being called another ‘digitalgold’ like some would call Bitcoin? Bitcoin is totally on its own path, and for sure we look forward to more growth of Bitcoin like it is doing now.
170  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 2 Simple Ways Crypto Whales Manipulate the Market on: June 11, 2021, 06:49:40 AM
The whales are soon going to be unable to manipulate the market or they will find it hard to do so, the market keeps growing and the level at which it was in 2014 is not what it is now, it has reached a bigger level now.

Although we still some of them that have tried to manipulate the market as of recent, with some being influencers who tries to use their influence on their followers to gain control over the market. I am hoping that soon we will get pass that level where people will have any single chance to manipulate the market at all, and I hope the market will just move on its own.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Signals in crypto on: June 10, 2021, 04:09:03 PM
Im preety new on forum, I posted 99% on my local forum, but now I want also post on international forum.

Im intrested in trading in crypto, cause mining crypto in this days is not profitable. I Want to know how I can recognize right coin, expect BTC, and ETH, how I can recognize some other good coins? How I can recognize when is the right time for buyng and sellig crypto to make most of trades profitable? Is it possible some how exploting some coin and be sure this coin can make 10x, 20, 50x,... in next months?

Sorry if Im spell something wrong cause my English is not best.
If you’re talking about making ten times and fifty times profit, it doesn’t happen in a day, it can take days and even months. So you can’t get that much so easily. Even as a day trader you’re going to be making just a few profit a day, but by if you do really well, by the end of the month you can be realizing more than thirty percentage of profit from trading daily.

Whether the market happens to become bullish at the time, you’re going to make lots of profit and even more than hundred percent profit. The market is not bullish, although some are predicting bull run again, as of now it has been a bearish trend.
172  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is Easy dont be afraid just on: June 10, 2021, 03:32:33 PM
The same odds to lose are 50:50 to Win.
You lose Only if You buy When price is Up Green*
Or You Panic selling*
If its correction just buy more.
Just make sure You have always other 50% cash to buy the dips
Well, you are kind of right. But trading is not something that you will rush into, you have to calm down and learn it, if not you’ are more likely to lose than to win. People who trade cryptocurrency without the knowledge, sees it as a gambling and they are relying on luck to trade, which means that they are more likely to lose their money.

So, you need to go through some lessons and prepare yourself for it. The good thing is that once you learn how to trade, it becomes an easy thing for you and you’re going to be able to rely on it and make money. That’s why you will see a lot of traders who are quitting their jobs to become full time traders.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Did you fall for the current dip and sell off on: June 10, 2021, 12:56:47 PM
when the price collapses very deep and I sell it out of panic then it will only make me regret it even more the next day when the price has recovered and rose to be very expensive, so I prefer to wait for the price to rise and be patient.
I don't understand what people are doing when doge coin was over 0.5$ it seems to be pure greed if you ask me, doge coin is the most profitable coin this bull season because it was dirty cheap in 2020 with even few thousands pieces of doge you are already in money
That's right and a lot of exchanges with foul intention closed accounts that were inactive with balances in Dogecoins once they realize that the price has ballooned too high and it is time to turn scam.

I had accounts on multiple exchanges since a long time and now as I try to login, most of them are asking for my identity verification because I have some balance and they never asked me for KYC in past. Hitbtc is asking for ID verification and I had some balance in there and similarly, there are other exchanges like bleutrade who are asking for selfies and all shits because I have a few hundred doge coins on there.
174  Economy / Economics / Re: The Difference Between Staking and Investing on: June 09, 2021, 07:44:05 PM
I don't want to indulge in PoW vs PoS debate once again.. but from what I have seen over the years, PoS coins have been disastrous for the investors. The only exception would be Cardano (ADA), but let's not forget the fact that even Cardano went down by almost 98%-99% in 2018. PoW coins on the other hand has returned good amounts of profit to the investors. There can be exceptions, but in the majority of cases this is what happened in 2017-18 period.
Proof-Of-Stake coins are not ideal for investment that's true and that is because they make the rich even richer while the Proof-Of-work coins are a comparatively better option because there are resources used and it actually costs for the miners to mine them so it is a more tiring process. The reason why POS is popular is that it saves energy but I am still in favor of POW if someone asks me.

Investing is just a different aspect altogether because while POS & POW don't have direct risks involved, investment is all about taking calculated risks and can't really be compared to staking. I think if still one has to compare then investing is a much better option than staking because the value of most coins that are based on POS will drop down since people who stake those coins will keep dumping the coins to the market.
175  Economy / Economics / Re: I want to start a crypto project, gimme advice on: June 09, 2021, 07:06:11 PM
So I have an idea, I identified the problem and the solution, I have the prototype, I'm working on the MVP.
I roughly know some of my potential clients.

What I don't have:
1. Team - suggest places where I could recruit people. I tried job boards, but I only got a ton application from newbies, when I need someone serious who will work for me for free, initially.
2. Money - where do you look for investors in crypto projects?
3. Followers - what stage is the right moment to start promoting a project?
Creating a project like this is not going to be easy, it requires hard work to be able to achieve success in it. And it’s not just about hard work, you also need funds to be able to push the project forward, because there are times you’re going to need to run paid promotions on social media platforms such as Instagram and Facebook and Twitter to be able to get followers to your page to support and invest in it.

If you do follow other big cryptocurrency institutions or companies closely you will notice that they are steady doing paid promotions. Then you can also start with this bitcoin Forum, and also on Reddit. And don’t forget LinkedIn, that’s where you’re more likely to meet like minded people who are ready to invest.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Casino & Sports - UFC Official Betting Partner - Play Smarter 🥊 on: June 09, 2021, 06:29:10 PM
I am not entirely sure if any stake owners/admins read the requests here but there's a list now I have compiled and want stake to have a look and consider implementing.

1- Make 3x tickets for sports bettors too since it doesn't give us a fair chance at winning the raffles.
2- Make all VIP managers pick winners, only a handful of VIP managers pick winners weekly and they pick their own players so players with non-picking VIPs don't stand a chance.
3- Please do something about the rain spam in English chat, it's near impossible to chat during rains. Maybe implement a timeout or slow mode.
4- Fix the sports betting as the page doesn't load sometimes and the warning shows "something went wrong"

On a serious note, players might leave stake because of all the focus on verifying users and doing KYC. Trust me, no one likes it. Do giveaways based on wager and you won't have to ask for KYC.
177  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $10,000 DAILY Wagering contest < on: June 09, 2021, 05:29:18 PM
Hello Baryom and Bitsler team, please consider my request and do some changes to the VIP system. I am playing here for quite a while and I noticed that there is no way of getting chests from bitsler unless you search for the admins on telegram and be lucky enough to find them. I mean some players get chests while others who don't know will never be able to get chests with this bogus kind of system in place. Please try and understand, I love bitsler and hence I am saying it, I do not mean to hurt anyone's sentiments.

There should be a clear path of how to get chests and how to contact admins because some players are getting more than others right now who are active and find admins while others who focus on playing are missing them. Maybe somewhere in the VIP tab you can mention that players can claim chests by talking to support/admins.

179  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: May 20, 2021, 06:17:13 PM
Im newbie in trading it is really hard to choose what margins if I will be in high or low margin. Due of not consistent value of the price I've doubt in myself if will learn in trading . One of my friend traders tell me more about trading and he just said to me that I must read more the sequences of trading and observe the graphic.

Until I learn little thing regards in trading , cause trade it's not a consistent it is just an analysis of us. Being a traders I'll become flexible and to be risk taker no matter what I've lost in my traded.
Just as your friend has said, you should study more on trading and understand it very well, because from what I have understood it seems you don’t have a single clue on how trading works. How are you going to be expecting to win your trades when you’re not good at it? So go back and learn it first, you’re even lucky that you have a friend who is a trader. If he’s really good at it then he can help put you through and it will even be more easy for you to understand it when you have someone that is there with you to teach you about trading than when you have to be learning it online.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How long will this scam go on? on: February 24, 2021, 11:59:00 AM
I can feel the frustration but as long as crypto currencies exist, there will be good and shit coins both and in good numbers. The main reason is because anyone anonymously can create their coin, do scam ICOs and even airdrops them to everyone to later dump when it hits an exchange.

I don't mind these things because its like the real market, there will be scammers all over the marketplace but that doesn't mean we stop using it. It only means that we have to be more careful.

Talking of being careful and selective, investors have already stopped investing into scams and are very picky now and do their complete analysis before investing anything. Unlike few years ago when any ICO gained millions, now ICOs are barely even reaching their soft cap which shows that investors have become very cautious and the naive ones are already scammed I think.
