541  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it a good long term investment to buy 1 BTC today? on: March 01, 2016, 03:17:33 PM
Its very good to invest long term in the bitcoin these days the halving is coming this year but after that it will reach a high price you can consider to sell it then or just wait till 2020.
In 2020 there will come another halving and than the price will really go to a high amount if it goes well.
542  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: why transactions are taking too long ? on: March 01, 2016, 03:14:52 PM
Transaction are taking long when you are sending with a low fee, because the confirmations will take a lot longer because of the low fee, I really hate that part from the bitcoin.
If that would be better the bitcoin would be perfect and ready for a take over at the world.
543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? on: March 01, 2016, 10:50:24 AM
I never gambled if I'm very honest, I only gambling in real life, I do not like gambling online because I have a feeling I will lose a lot and also due to the fact I think the rates are not fair so that is another reason for me to not do it.
I think its good to not do because I'm also fast addicted to something so its a good thing I never began doing it.
544  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think the price will rise again above $400 on: March 01, 2016, 10:46:16 AM
The price is already above 400 and it will continue to go up until the halving occurs, and it wont fall below that at a moment, and that is a good sign that price is moving up and it also remains stable.

i think the price will not go above $500 soon. It will consolidate for a few months, then it is rise to $800 or higher.

I also think it will got soon to a amount of near the 500 dollar in the next months, after the 500 it will go to a lower point again till the halving and than it will go to a high amount because of the halving.
I think the bitcoin has a really good future ahead this year and the next few years that are coming.
545  Economy / Economics / Re: Sell Everything? on: March 01, 2016, 10:41:22 AM
Selling all your bitcoins would b stupid if you ask me, you can sell some bitcoins if you in real need of money but you should still hold some bitcoins because the bitcoin will got to a high amount this year and maybe later also.
I think if you just hold a bit if bitcoins you will make a lot of profit, also if you have some small amount its already good if you have that.
546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin vs Dollar on: March 01, 2016, 10:37:59 AM
Dollar is a currency and bitcoin has no fizical appearance, everyone knows about dollar but mostly people don't know about bitcoin,so both have a lot of different.

Yep. And they can never replace on another. Bitcoin can never be a real form of currency. It's just easier to refer it as one because same as with any other currencies - there are values and trades and swaps. But it's totally different.

Dollar is currency but bitcoin is also a currency , the only difference is that dollar is currency use as fiat and bitcoin is currency used for digital use , so acts as a virtual currency.
It does not matter for a currency to be in what form. the matter should have to be its acceptance, and so bitcoin is acceptable worldwide.
Bitcoin is ofcourse better than Dollar. But some people dont even know what Bitcoin is and that is the problem. Bitcoin must be more popular.
Than more people are going to use it maybe. And that will be good if it is more popular, and the value must rise as well.

Yes indeed the bitcoin is better than the bitcoin, and I think the bitcoin will also win from the dollar at a later point, it will sure take a lot of years but its possible for sure, also a fact is that the dollar can be digital yes but the bitcoin is already fully digital and is a digital created currency's so that would be much better.
I think we only need to convince the bank soon or later that the bitcoin is much better because of many reason.
547  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Shop which accepts BTC on: March 01, 2016, 10:30:54 AM
I mostly used Bitify, you can buy a lot of stuff on it, its like pavivy, they have a very nice system and its very easy to use if you ask me, You can find things like parts of a car to games for the playstation its very nice.
I think there will come a lot of bitcoins shops later this year because the bitcoin is getting bigger everyday.
548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 01, 2016, 10:26:24 AM
Quitting gambling can be very hard because it also lays on different aspects, if someone really spend their whole bank account they cannot stop because they want to win back their whole bank account that they lost.
It depends how you get addicted to it if I'm honest I think you just need to speak with relatives about it to create some social control.
549  Economy / Speculation / Re: Explain WHY bitcoin will be worth 1-3000 USD on: March 01, 2016, 10:21:50 AM
Hi,

Can all of you bitcoin and market gurus please explain for a dumb kid like me WHY bitcoin will and can be worth 1000-3000 USD (some say $10000 to $1MIL which I find weird?!).
One reason I think I've understood is that once all the bitcoins are mined and bitcoins goes global... we can kinda set the price. Is this correct?

Please list every reason and explain it like it's for a 10 yr old. I often see "BITCOIN WILL REACH THE PRICE XXXX USD" but never a reason why.
My heart says I should hold on to all of my bitcoins but my paranoid brain says "No. Plenty of crashes before that."

Thanks in advance.

because owning bitcoins gives you rights of ownership of the relative data stored on the Blockchain, which is the world's biggest, more widespread and popular p2p decentralized network, hence bitcoins have an intrinsic value.
because bitcoins have the pros without cons of gold, which makes them and ideal store of value.
because bitcoins have the pros without the cons of cash, which which makes them the ultimate payment method for in person trades.
because bitcoins have the pros without the cons of electronic payment systems, and are much more secure and fast than those, which makes them the ultimate payment method for online trades.
because bitcoins are non inflationary, which means that if demand and adoption grow, their value is bound to rise.
and many more reasons, these are the most notheworthy.

you would just need one of these reasons to justify such prices, but you have all of them.

I think you are right, but its also the fact that we are making the price of the bitcoin with the whole bitcoin itself so I think we can also say the price is made by our self right ?

Its also the fact that the halving is coming and that will let the price go to a high amount or maybe to a lower amount, you of course never know what is gonna happen.
550  Economy / Economics / Re: Does the Price of Bitcoin Matter? on: March 01, 2016, 10:14:10 AM
if course the price matters, its also that people need the price to believe in the bitcoin again if the bitcoin do not  has a price many people will not invest in the bitcoin I'm sure of that.
I think the price is very important for the people, because they want to know how much the bitcoin is worth and so you can see if the future is good.
551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 01, 2016, 10:11:17 AM
I think bitcoin is even better secured than your normal bank account, I really like the bitcoin and its very trusted to put money on, the bitcoin itself is very trusted, just use blockchain or something they are trusted for sure.
The bitcoin is trusted by already a lot of users, so its definitely  yes.
552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is their any safe methods to gamble? on: February 27, 2016, 08:58:36 PM
The best thing I have ever seen as a safe method is to bet on sports and do martingale basically. You bet some 0.01 ( or say 10 of your bankroll ) and then bet double on next event you feel sure about, its better than dice, since your luck can let you down but I think brain wont Tongue

Sports bets are as risky as any other bet. If you want to gamble safe then don't gamble at all or place bets in demo.
If you can and like the risk/thrill then go for roulette. That's real gambling to me anyway.
553  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bank account suspended for buying bitcoins? on: February 27, 2016, 08:55:13 PM
My friend's bank account already got suspended for trading bitcoins.
Weird thing is i bought also bitcoins at the same bank and got no problems. Bought over 4k of bitcoins.
554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you consider trading as gambling? on: February 27, 2016, 08:50:42 PM
Trading , investing, gambling etc.. They're all the same for me because you need money to put in then its the sites who deals if you win or lose..

There are totally different.
Gambling is too risky. You can lose all of your money.
Trading is quite safe, if you trade in good assets, there is no risk involved.
555  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTC Payment integration to website on: February 27, 2016, 08:45:32 PM
I would go for blockchain.info's API. You don't need to have the deamon running.
This way you can save money and resources on security and integration.

Or go with bitpay they got a neat API too.
556  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ soon on: February 27, 2016, 08:42:52 PM
Well soon in your dreams.

Just think about it realistically. How can an asset x12 in a short period of time. We are talking about an asset with a cap of 6.6 billion.
There is no way this can happen.

557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: February 27, 2016, 08:35:26 PM
Offcourse the price will go up eventually and with that i see many possibilities to get a decent profit.
Else well i feel happy to be into the bitcoin revolution.

It's fun and very exciting.

I would not be so optimistic. There is a good chance the project will faill alltogether.
There is no solution yet for the blocksize. Investors are getting impatient and most of them are not forgiving. If they leave, they leave forever.
558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: February 27, 2016, 08:32:21 PM
The prospect of getting loads of money is why gamblers keep on gambling. They want more and more and won't stop before they reach their goal.
In the end you will see the lose against themself instead of the game
559  Economy / Economics / Re: Long term OIL on: February 27, 2016, 08:27:28 PM
I've bought some stocks for oil a few weeks back. it's a very good investment in my perception.
Just let the price go back to 100 usd per barrel in a few years and i've tripled my investment.
560  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Is genesis-mining.com good?! on: February 27, 2016, 08:25:14 PM
Well if you buy hash there prepare for a big loss.
It's way better to donate your money to some charity before investing with them. They will take your money and will give your nothing in return.

Yeah i've bought a contract there a year ago and it did not give me any profit whatsoever.
In fact they screwed me and many other scrypt clients over by cheating with elecricity prices.
