2  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Ethereum a good investment? on: October 17, 2018, 03:20:32 PM
What makes a coin worth investing?
It usually is the underlying project idea and its utility in the market. ETH has utility as a smart contract and is widely being used to create cryptocurrencies, exchanges and other stuffs which means that it has potential to grow in term of demand.

Then comes the supply cycle. The supply of ETH is uncapped. But that isn't a problem because the release of tokens isn't that quick. Hence, the demand and supply cycle works nicely.

At this point, the whole market is suffering. But ETH can be a good investment at this phase.
3  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Psychological fear dominates the market on: October 17, 2018, 03:16:21 PM
Emotions play a big role in such markets. Specially in cryptos where the volatility is pretty high, people enter for quick profits which did make sense in the previous years. But the market is expanding now and volatility is decreasing as the result. So, people who come with unrealistic expectations are obviously going to react with fear and emotions. No financial market is good for emotions. It's all number and technical indicators. For example the recent pump, market didn't react on the logical news as that of Binance opening a crypto exchange. But they reacted on a false news out of fear.
4  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: October 17, 2018, 03:10:28 PM
Blockchain is like a revolutionary technology for this world. It has the power to disrupt many sectors/businesses. The best part of blockchain is that it is not going to attack the employee sector but the center. For exapmle, it can be a problem for the UBER but not the drivers. With blockchain drivers can do what UBER does, alone. If blockchain is going yo make it big, cryptocurrencies will go side by side. Those are wrong who says that Blockchain can survive without cryptos or bitcoin in general. But I don't think so. You can't eliminate BTC from a system until people recognize blockchain tech. So, yes cryptos will survive.
5  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: October 17, 2018, 03:05:29 PM
So this happened to me twice this week, first I sold Bitcoin Cash and the next day, it started booming and has not up considerably and still going strong, then I sold Golem and boom it goes too.

What do you do in such situations? When you finally sell for a small profit after a long wait but then you realize that you missed on big profit with you bad timing.
How do you deal with this? Any tips to minimize this or overcome after such bad timing decisions?
You can never always sell at the ATH. Look at the prices now, I think you must be happy that you exited still at the better time. What actually happens in that in expectation of chasing the ATH, people incur loss instead because after ATH, a dump will follow. Never regret leaving before the ATH. Hardly people can time the ATH. It isn't even easy for the best of the traders. They always exit a bit before ATH.
6  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are The Bulls Back? on: October 17, 2018, 03:01:31 PM
The recent pump happened because of the FUD spread by one tweet that Kucoin is shutting down USDT. People thought that following this many big exchanges will do the same and hence, most of them started buying BTC which pumped its price. It was all a FUD. Kucoin clearly stated that they are just shutting down the withdrawal and deposits of tether for sometime.

FUD do create such pumps. It was short lived but yes, the price is still better than before. In some way this FUD did help. But there is not a single sign of bull market according to the TA.

8  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make this world economically better? on: October 10, 2018, 03:35:30 PM
Something that can make this world economically better is the money education. Most people don't take money education seriously. They think that what they are doing with their money is the best possible option. If your money is not earning passively, you can never be rich. The problem is that people don't manage their money smartly and that differentiate a poor from rich.

I would like to quote a line from the book "Rich Dad Poor Dad"

""Everything the working class has been told to do, the rich do not do.""

I know that money management is a small part of a better economy. But it definitely is a gear.
9  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to reinvest into ETH? on: October 10, 2018, 03:25:44 PM
This is the time to make investment in most of the large cap or potential coins. The charting on SMMA is telling a happy story about the market. The price action of Bitcoin is forming a bullish divergence with RSI. Since, the whole market follows the bitcoin price movement.  A bullish wave is likely to come soon.
10  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can the world really go digital with crypto? on: October 10, 2018, 03:22:19 PM
Cryptos have provided this world with an alternative way of transacting and a monetary model which is completely decentralized. I believe that cryptos can boost the economy in the direction of digitization. But it won't be the sole monetary method. Governments and banks will most likely work on the blockchain tech and will bring their own centralized currency.
11  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $2000 to invest ? on: October 10, 2018, 03:17:14 PM
Build a diversified portfolio!

You have $2k which can be divided in 3:4:2:1 ratio. Put the first part in BTC. Put the second in the large cap coins usually the top 10 ones. You can experiment with mid and small cap market with the third part. Put the last in one ICO.

It could give you a balanced portfolio and also with putting a small amount in last two, you can experiment with the actual volatility of the crypto market and can learn.
12  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Currency is fastest way to get rich ? on: October 10, 2018, 03:13:07 PM
This is the biggest misconception people bring with themselves while investing in cryptos. I agree that cryptos are volatile and hence, could give higher returns in shorter span unlike other investment assets. But it is an easy an a fast way to lose money as well. Market is so volatile that taking a proper action everytime isn't really easy. So trade wisely.

14  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are you ready for bull market? on: October 05, 2018, 03:48:13 PM
Everyone is talking about the bull market as the year end is approaching. There is a high probability that a bullish wave will come. But most of the bag holders are ready to sell their holdings when a pump arrives. That could resist the growth to some extent. Moreover, the institutional money we were waiting for to enter is mainly OTC. OTC trades don't really provide momentum to the mainstream crypto market. But nevertheless, a pump is approaching.
15  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH, road down to $50? on: October 05, 2018, 03:45:21 PM
There is no way that ETH is touching $50 no matter what are the market condition. Unless the whole market get screwed badly and people start getting out of it, ETH is not going down to $50. That would mean disaster not only for the ETH but for the whole market. ETH has enough community support and the token has utility factor which can keep the price above $150 at least. Moreover, there is a huge volume of trade carried out through ETH. It has the demand part working for it.
16  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: October 05, 2018, 03:42:36 PM
what do you think about altcoin,do you think is the time to buy? am afraid because all my money is heading to zero.. Angry Angry
If you are afraid of something that you want to invest in. It is better to stay away. If you are afraid that means you don't really believe in what you are investing and not really well versed with the fundamentals. Unless you understand the fundamentals of the asset you are investing in, there is a big chance that you will panic sell during bear and FOMO during bull. You won't be able to get profits this way.

For your question, most of the altcoins are garbage and not at all worth investing. They have a lifetime of a year or so. 95% is shit. So, choosing a coin that is worth investing is altogether a big task. But if done wisely, there is huge ROI waiting for you in a year or so.
17  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any coin like bitcoin? on: October 05, 2018, 03:39:23 PM
If you are asking in terms of returns that Bitcoin has given us since the start, it is tough to find such a coin now. Because at that time there were a few people in cryptos and with adoption and hence, demand price pumped up. But you can still expect better returns than traditional investment assets like shares, stocks, property and gold. They are relatively stable market than cryptos and hence, don't give high ROI. But in cryptos it is pretty much possible but there is more risk. That is why it is called investment for millennial.
18  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Late to Invest in Cryptocurrencies? on: October 05, 2018, 03:20:05 PM
This is the best time to invest in large cap coins.

The growth projection for the large cap coins is 500%-700% by the year end.

Where BTC is expected to breach $35k price, ETH is likely to cross $2500. This growth projection is created due to many factors like last term growth data, institutional money entrance, increase of new investors near thanksgiving etc. Market is due for a bullish cycle and this long term bearish phase has built that inner momentum. If everything goes right without any major negative news, then ETH can successfully reach $2500 by year end.

Thus, a good investment.
19  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next bull run is coming on: October 04, 2018, 05:45:15 PM
People are quite optimistic about the year end. I think that investment from other assets will start flowing in cryptos near last quarter of the year. I expect a bullish season to start from October this year with peak in December. But try to take the maximum advantage of bear market by playing in future market or doing short term trades.

Moreover, If we analyze past charts of Bitcoin as it is the oldest currency, there have been pumps in the last quarter of the year.
20  Economy / Speculation / Re: No Bitcoin bullrun this year. on: October 04, 2018, 05:24:59 PM
If we analyze past charts of Bitcoin as it is the oldest currency, there have been pumps in the last quarter of the year. This year, a bull run is being eagerly awaited. People are stuck with their bags bought at high prices. This could prevent an insane pump like last year from happening as people are likely to sell in the initial leg of the pump. But we will see some pumping for sure.
