Long term HODL isn't a solution to every market situation.

If you are in cryptos just for ROI that too in long term by taking the least risk possible, then yes, HODL is the possible option to get decent ROI with least risk. In this volatile market, a year or two years hodl can earn you good ROI. But make sure that you go for potential coins because shit tokens have a lifetime period of not more than a year.

But if you are here for quick bucks and to exploit the maximum potential, trade according to trends. Don't let your investment sit throughout down/up trend. Make tradng decisions according to the ongoing trend to maximize your profit. This do involves more risk.

I would like to join the contest. But can you at least pay the BTC amount just after choosing the winner and runner ups and YTC of course after the ICO ends?
And are the BTC funds escrowed?

Would like answers to these 2 questions before starting with the logo.

Many people became victim of FOMO in last year end and are left with bags till now. Many are still hodling all the way through this bear phase. This is the reason of little or no understanding of trading and buying on someone else's signals. Person should atleast try to learn basic TA to analyze the entry exit point at least before trading. Fundamental analysis also helps a lot in cryptos and the combination of both will definitely gonna help a lot in cutting the losses and maintaining the risk reward ratio.

Masternodes lead people hodl their coins which limits the supply in the market. Whether the price will go up and down will depend upon the percentage reward the masternode will give. We can't give an comprehensive analysis on all the MN coins. ROI plays a big role in determining whether the coin will be profitable or not. For example, DASH and PIVX, they are quite popular MN altcoins and their ROI is 7.13% and 6.28% respectively which doesn't bring much inflation. But altcoins with high rewards are destined to fail because of excessive selling pressure. I have seen this happening with XGOX. Also, coins with high ROI if not fails isn't able to grow much in price like SmartCash.

On weekly charts, BTC sell volume is decreasing which means that selling pressure is fizzling out. So, July might be a bit bullish month unlike June. Since, the market runs according to Bitcoin price, altcoins will too go bullish in July as BTC is expected to rally till $7400. Altcoins usually give higher ROI than BTC. Therefore, will give more opportunities. Beaten down altcoins with good volume can easily give good ROI.

XRP is one of them. Price has touched the all time low of 2018. With an approaching bullish season, XRP which is quite popular in Asian countries, will grow the most.

The whole market is running on trust and demand-supply. Bitcoin still lacks an intrinsic value or any utility. People are keeping it as investment asset and is not being really used in a form of currency for buying-selling things at a massive scale which is required to back its value. It is mere a store of value which runs on trust. Hence, BTC crashes, your money is gone just like any other stock or share. BTC or altcoins are intangible and lack any intrinsic value. Therefore, you won't be able to recover the price in any possible way.

So, in short if coin crashes, you won't be left with anything.

Technical analysis are best for making entry and exit on a trade. Usually people can find a good investment coin through news and fundamental analysis, but TA helps in making entry, exit and stop loss decisions which helps in making a calculated trade with keeping risk reward-ratio in mind. You can trade effectively on news without TA in cryptos, but you will never know when to exit a trade and this can create a problem and make you undergo a loss. So, yes TA can't be always right to predict a future price trend but are required for making basic trading decisions. Anyone who is in crypto trading, should at least try to understand fundamentals of technical analysis.

TBH July trends are still bearish. No sign of recovery can be seen in TA. But market doesn't really move with TA and has become unpredictable nowadays. Short term trends are still easier to analyze, but long term trends (which also includes a month long trend) can't be predicted in cryptos because of the uncertainty in the market. So, FA and TA both direct towards a bearish July. But a sudden positive news might change the trends as crytpos are highly news dependent.

Indeed! This is the best point to enter the market for long and mid term holders.

According to technical analysis, BTC which usually drives the market along with its price, is expected to go as low as $5200 and anything below it might not really happen. according to fundamental analysis, trading desks are being opened by the fintech companies all over the world to provide investors an easy and safer way to enter the crypto market when institutional money is already been waiting on sidelines. So, both FA and TA are showing the best investment opportunity in cryptos.

Price is being heavily manipulated at the moment.

When price went $6000 after returning from a low of $5800, BTC long positions were at highly overbought condition and were 30% more than shorts which made it quite riskier to hodl longs. This was all according to the technical analysis. but BTC completely went against the TA and gone through a 6% instant rise. I am not saying TA is always correct. But how it failed to this extent when volume and price trend were both directing towards another dump to $5800 after $6000. This shows that whales are manipulating the market and working against the common market perception which ruins the small traders and make them panic sell.

No matter that market is experiencing a squeeze in volume, but ICO has so far been able to raise double than last year in just first half of 2018.

This shows that craze hasn't yet ended. Many people are saying that bubble has burst. But the truth is people are investing more in new project regardless of ICO ad bans by social media platforms. The intrest in new projects and altcoins is still alive. Market is just undergoing a necessary correction which is needed for a healthy market growth. Almost $13.7 billion has been raised by ICO so far this year. This is quite a decent growth in crypto industry.

There are like thousands of bounty hunters and most of them are quick sellers because they consider bounty rewards as their income and not an investment. Bounty sellers do bring a dump but if the coin is legit and is not artificially inflated, then the dump stays for short term and price comes back to original level. Also, the volume plays the big role. If the coin volume is under $100k, then dump would last long whereas a volume above $500k-$1 M can prevent a dump. It is more dependent upon the 24 hr supply of that particular coin and bounty allocation than people selling their rewards. One should keep such statistics in mind while designing and distributing the bounty.

For future traders, every up/down position is sell/buy opportunity. So, if you are a future trader or day trader, you have to time your buy and sell according to TA. But if you are a Hodler, price can go down as much as $5200 and anything below it quite impossible. So, if you have bought altcoins right now, just hold tight till the bullish divergence. Don't sell at this moment because we are at all time low levels. Bitcoin here got support. So, there will be an instant recovery if BTC falls below $5800. So, nothing to worry here.

Manipulation has lead to this.

Whales are manipulating market just to make panic sellers sell at all time low. People bring unnecessary emotions in crypto trading because of high volatility. Market lacks volume which makes it easy for whales to manipulate market supply and price trends. I have seen market defying technical analysis in many case because whales tend to move market irrespective of potential trends. This is quite a big problem for the market as for now, which can only be changes if market volume increases.

This is called panic selling and FOMO. People are not able to exclude emotions from trading. Usually when a price rises, people buy in FOMO (Fear Of Missing Out). When the price dumps, people sell out of panic. There is nothing wrong in buying during bullish period. But you need to time your buying and never buy at ATH. Similarly, there isn't anything wrong in selling during bear phase. But again panic sellers end up selling at all time low. Buy and sell can't be timed without a knowledge of Technical analysis and most of the traders here don't know much about TA.

There is no sure shot answer to it. Where Bitcoin.com has launched Institutional Investment Platform which will help in bringing institutional money and hence, volume in the market, Bitcoin futures might prevent a sudden upsurge. Bitcoin futures will lead to a slow recovery unlike last year growth. But they will also help in preventing any serious dump. Bitcoin futures limit the percentage growth but still maintain the high volatility in small percentages. Most of the trading is happening OTC.

I don't expect price to tumble more. But the recovery if happens would be at slow place.

I would suggest to go with alts for anyone looking for higher ROI.

I don't believe that BTC will give a higher ROI in short term because of the Bitcoin futures. Bitcoin futures were the reason that BTC experienced such a steep fall. Bitcoin won't be able to experience a constant bullish rally because futures trader will keep on shorting BTC. You must have noticed that since the inception of BTC futures in December last year, price has been going down. This also is happening because the correction was highly needed to bring the price out of a bubble to the actual growth. But BTC futures will prevent any rapid appreciation of price in short term as we have seen last time.

Whereas alts have higher chances of giving multiplier profit in short term. Only make sure to invest in coins which have potential and use case.
