201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Waiting for the rise of all altcoins on: January 09, 2020, 11:08:00 AM
There may not be a rise in alts as it was in 2017 BTC all time high. The situations are different now and the world is in a type of recession and investments might be only in Bitcoin. The projects which might become a reality for common people, only those may get money from BTC and may rise again.
202  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto Taxation on: January 09, 2020, 10:21:39 AM
I feel the best way to tax crypto earnings is to put taxes on capital gains, it can be in slabs where taxes will increase as you go up. It should not matter how much a person trades rather the taxes should be put on the money he wants to take out and spend.
203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: High price but no volume on: January 09, 2020, 07:57:52 AM
I have always suggested people not to buy random coins because of a someone gave a "Call" that it will be pumped. The coin needs to have a certain project or utilization in the future. Or at least a roadmap which displays some use case for the coin. Otherwise there is no hope for it even if its listed on a big exchange.
204  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC to 5000$ before a big rise ? on: January 09, 2020, 06:25:27 AM
I was thinking about this in the end of October 2019 and there were some instances when the price dropped down to $6k marks. but it recovered fast from there so I dont think there will be any more instances of even hitting that price now, halving too near for another dump and people will be waiting for something like this if happened.
205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run or Bull Trap on: January 07, 2020, 12:29:01 PM
There is a confusion in everyone's mind on what might be reason for this BTC uptrend now, most of us think that it might be because of the war situation but there is a possibility of BTC bull run as the halving not so far in the future. Hopefully, its the latter and there may be no war. We may not see a huge alt season this time but top alts will rally with BTC.
206  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: if anyone hacked your account then who is responsible??? on: January 07, 2020, 12:10:09 PM
If the exchange is hacked then you cant do anything unless they take responsibility and pay you back. If only your account is hacked then it will be on your head as you need to take precautions like 2FA etc.

The best way is to hodl the coins which you dont want to trade in a personal wallet rather than an exchange.
207  Economy / Economics / Re: BTC to GOLD on: January 07, 2020, 11:58:51 AM
I would have selected Gold as the price of gold is peaking to its all time high and still has the potential to go up with all the war scene cooking up. If there is a war in future then the gold price will definitely go higher than expectation. BTC also trying to break the resistance and may well go past $10k this month.
208  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to make big profits from exchanging bitcoin to altcoins on: January 07, 2020, 11:45:52 AM
Looking at the profile of the OP, he/she didnt come back to the forum or did anything other than marketing a discord channel. It might be his/her channel to get more members for future pumps.
Never trust these groups or telegram channels, they just try to manipulate the alt market and get their money doubled.
209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will binance reach $23 as per experts prediction? on: January 07, 2020, 10:21:47 AM
If Changpeng Zhao continues his aggressive marketing strategies and include more and more new features then there is no doubt that BNB will get back to its all time high again. BNB gives allot of advantages in terms of getting lottery tickets in IEO, also the platform gives staking rewards.
210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Death of ICOs on: January 06, 2020, 12:05:11 PM
It was inevitable, people were concerned about their investments from the beginning but the greed was too much to control. When the highly anticipated projects started failing, people started to understand. There is no future in ICO's now.
211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Why price down after listing in exchanges on: January 06, 2020, 10:32:26 AM
Yes it is true but not only those two, there are allot of reasons behind this. There will be "angel investors", who had bought early and will sell their tokens, there may be bounties and they used to sell at certain price. People dont believe in hodling for a long time now.
212  Economy / Economics / Re: World Economy and war situation and crypto on: January 06, 2020, 08:04:25 AM
Iran will respond to the strikes sooner or later, may be after the funeral on Tuesday. It will have impacts on Bitcoin and crypto but as Iran was under the sanctions from long time now, this wont be affecting in large quantity. Hopefully, there will be no war because it will be a greater loss than good.
213  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: January 06, 2020, 07:30:28 AM
The time is not right for long term traders as most of the alts are not having any support and with BTC fluctuations, its harder than ever to keep holding an alt. To do short term trading, you need allot of time and patience and should be attentive towards all the news thats come on to social media.
214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Google’s Censorship Of Cryptocurrencies Goes Way Beyond YouTube on: January 06, 2020, 05:15:00 AM
Google is no less than facebook in keeping privacy of users. I was thinking whether google will come up with its own cryptocurrency but after all the mess "Libra" created, it will be far from making one.

People still dont know about Brave. It has everything which Chrome has and works better in my opinion. But for mail and video streaming there is little to none competition for Google.
215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best small exchanges that you really like on: January 04, 2020, 11:51:13 AM
I actually trade on Waves DEX. They are constantly updating and good with their services. Also waves has their leasing concept through which you can earn interest without actually sending the waves anywhere. Coingecko is also good and has many coins.
216  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be main currency during WW III, and back to $20k ? on: January 04, 2020, 07:16:46 AM
I hope there would be none or minute retaliation from Iranians but if there comes a war then BTC will definitely gain more and more popularity in Iran and its friends. They can easily transact in and out of the country with BTC. US cant sanction that so it will be a situation to resolve.
217  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sending Bitcoin over Bluetooth? on: January 04, 2020, 06:45:35 AM
If you really want it complete decentralized then I think you should ask about how to transfer Bitcoin in a local wifi network of a device.?

If that is possible then the adoption of bitcoin will be a huge hit as shop owners can easily use it.
218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] KICKICO - PLATFORM FOR FUNDRAISING ON CRYPTOCURRENCY on: January 04, 2020, 05:52:04 AM
@TimeTeller

There is no team member here. They have left this thread long ago.

The only proper reply you get on their telegram channel is that they have a beta test where you can join.

219  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Any other games working with crypto? on: January 03, 2020, 11:10:53 AM
I havent played these but I have played allot of games on TheAbyss platform. Its predicted as the future of crypto in gaming industry as it is similar to what steam is for regular gamers. Check it out if you havent heard about it, new games will come up every often.
220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin could reach $100,000 in 2020: Ross Ulbricht on: January 03, 2020, 10:33:52 AM
Sometimes I feel these predictions will bring more bad luck to the community rather than a news for normal people who dont know crypto yet. As the bitcoin halving is coming near we may see good volumes into the market and upward trend soon.
