And how would I know what someone else bid, huh? EDIT: We found our block, who was closest?

I've just made a few changes, please let me know if you see any difference in stale/invalid shares.
That's cool you tried something. +1. Also, you can use the [edit] button on your posts to avoid multiple posting back-to-back. PS: Just because, imho, it's better, why not utilize anchor text in your signature links? Let me code it for you! Ausp, MrSam, everyone,
Can we learn how to use the EDIT button? Please?
|
|

I'm going to try the 5 second method first, and if that fails, will do the 30 second method.
EDIT: I didn't do the 1 resistor method. However the 3 resistor method worked flawlessly! I also wrapped the middle resistor with electrical tape, then all three, so that they wouldn't fall off easily.

Well, I don't think it's your fault, but after you saying that they do in fact sell memory, I went back to have a look.
I barely was able to see the ONE link in the horizontal bar that it says memory. Everything else about the site is "transciever this" and "transciever that" They make it very hard to find memory. THey don't even list memory in the sidebar! All that's there is Transceivers. Transceivers, Transceivers, Transceivers, Transceivers, Transceivers.
And then, once I click on memory, I am not impressed. I will not be shopping there, sad to say. I need some memory too.
Like I said, not your fault.

I agree, the site is confusing. The owner is taking a risk that you will not like it and leave, lol.

Example: If you believe that the block will be found at 2:36PM and 20 seconds GMT you would send 0.10143620 BTCs to the address provided. Wow, this was confusing me, and I didn't even realize it. So, to put it in other words: The lottery ticket price consists of: + 0.10 000000 + 0.00 120000 hour of day in 24 hr clock (in this case 12 noon) + 0.00 003400 minute of the hour (in this case 34) + 0.00 000056 seconds of the minute (in this case 56) ----------------- T 0.10123456 purchase price. HOWEVER, only the 0.10 goes to the pot, the rest of the bits stay with the lotto operator. I think I will pick the time 00:01:01! J/k.

I thought they sold memory. Boy was I wrong.
What do you mean? They sell Transceivers.

Hi, when can I send a PM :S?

Is there a chain of command here? Does Diablo not have a superior?

|

Why not a concurrent (bi)weekly draw? Keep the mega-millions (of .0000 0001 lol) and have a smaller time window, but higher ticket? Just an idea.
|
|
|
Any questions, please feel free to ask.
When will there be shorter lotto times? (ie: weekly draws)

Okay, next question. I withdrew $37 BBP which I thought should equal 0.037 however I've just received the transaction and it's only 0.0037.
Isn't $1 BBP 1/1000th of a BTC?
I believe that 1/1000th is 3 decimal places, not four. So, 1 BBP should equal 0.001 BTC. Now, did bitbetter not understand decimal places? :p

Yeah, the first time I entered the 50/50 game I was thrown for a loop.
I also "won" about 200 bit points playing 6 times in a row. I thought it was stuck on PAY or something. Then I went back in and lost 50, 47, 35, 50 in a row. F that game! lol.
It would be simpler if the winning/losing part was the same. Say, each time you play, you are only risking X amount of points.

P.s. I may regret posting this tomorrow when I wake up.
+1 for making me laugh out loud, literally.

Did you know you can turn off signatures? It will turn off EVERYONE'S though. Kind of like turning off the TV forever, just because you don't want to see late-night infomercials. I know. To be honest I don't think anyone was complaining about signatures, rather about the spammy posts and threads. Yeah, I know. :-/ Just trying to shine the light on one of the options available. If you read my other posts lately, I agree about too many threads about TM. One might say "well, don't read the threads if you don't like what they have to say." On the other hand (otoh), going down a list of topics (threads) and having it seem like every other one is about TM is bad. PS: I use to be a (multi-) forum administrator for 10 years. I was pretty good at it too. But too many forum newbies gave me a headache. (I'm talking about forum etiquette and the like.) But I digress.

But the differance is that we cant "turn off" the triple mining tv channel, It's like an ad on Every tv station. I know what I am about to say is a poor, blanket response, but I feel the need to offer the option. Did you know you can turn off signatures? It will turn off EVERYONE'S though. Kind of like turning off the TV forever, just because you don't want to see late-night infomercials. I know. But, here is how you accomplish this: - click on Profile
- the on the sidebar, find and click 'Look and Layout Preferences'
- find the 4th check-box and check it. [Don't show users' signatures.]
