I'm getting 1.9% stales with minecoin, yet 0.1% with another pool. Is there something going on?

I prefer betco.in for poker. It's fast, transparent and without lags or bugs. And rakes are minimal. I think it's ok for the webmaster to get some bitcents for his service. He carries also some risks (regulations etc.).
I've played on BetCo.in before. But there's no tournaments, only cash games. I've set up a poker buy-in button for .25btc, I just don't know when we should schedule a game. For today, what's a good time? I'm open for the next few hours. My Skype name (for IM) is: PandaMarketer if you want to play a game.

... there is an error in your siggy. Looks like you ran out of characters, because the closing color tag got 2 char chopped off. I suggest you just remove it, be cause apparently, you don't need a closing tag in your siggy if it's the last thing to close.

Thanks for the info/answers.
Heh, I just thought of something... instead of calling them "chips" we should call them hashes. We start off the game with 100MH and the blinds are 500Kh and 1Mh. (for a tourney style, not cash game)

So, you have 4 cores, and want only 75% of your CPU to work, but having 3 cores at 100% is not what you mean. I guess the real question is WHY. Why doesn't this method work for you? The math is sound. (100+100+100+0) / 4 = 75%

buy on an exchange or OTC ?
If you can find someone in person to deal with cash money, then go for it. Otherwise, use an exchange. Bitcoin7 is looking pretty good right about now.

I am in the process of installing bitcoin client on one of my miners for testing purposes. It has been 3 hours and it still hasn't downloaded all of the blocks yet. I fear every day puts minutes onto this time. Which means that by this time next year, it will take a day or more to have a fully up-to-date client.
I wonder if there is a way to copy the database?

The wallet.data file has a lot of info in it... number of blocks, addresses... what we need is the Balance! Where do you get that from? If you find a partial file, which part is paramount?

Nice. Not fair, but nice.

I do have a quad core CPU, however when selecting CPU affinity in GUIMiner to less than all four cores, it continues to use all of them at 100%. Do you have the latest GUIminer version 2011-06-14? There should be "CPU Affinity" check boxes. Use those in conjunction with the Task-Manager trick, making sure to set it on "guiminer.exe" as well as "polcbm.exe." There is a new "polcbm.exe" in the processes list for every active worker you have "started" on guiminer. LMK if that was the problem.

Hi Steve. Nice intro. I'm Dave.
Can you tell me what was the other forum? doom9 Of course it would be a gamer forum! lol

I've got a referral with 930 MH/s And three that are currently idle. Haven't seem them doing any hashing at all yet. I'm working on a "privmsg" system so you can kick their ass +1

Maybe add a backup option in the client. You click on backup and it prompts you with which drive do you want to save the wallet.dat as wallet-yyyymmddhhmmss.dat ?

Is anyone reading all these introductions? I don't think so. Might as well start a game thread. "next poster adds 1 to the number in the previous post"
