Kraken $/BTC = 8055$
$/€ = 1.1785 ... 8055/1.1785=6835€ but there is a wall that prevent it to go above 6800
I don't know exactly what that means.

So I was at a happy hour and a couple of colleagues brought up the subject of Bitcoin out of the blue. It was all I could do to bite my tongue, none of them know I own any bitcoin and never will.
So one of them brings up the old, tired Peter Schiff argument of "Well at least Gold has intrinsic value. You can make jewelry out of it. Bitcoin has no intrinsic value."
So I look at him and casually say, "So you can make jewelry out of gold. Fair enough. So what then, gives jewelry value?"
That look on his face when his brain seemed to completely lock up for about a minute was priceless.
And then when his brain started processing again, of course comes the requisite reply, "Um, what do you mean? Because jewelry...has gold in it?"
People simply don't understand the philosophical basis for human's valuing anything. Everything is just taken for granted.
For the same purpose I use as example Picasso's paintings. It's just some dry paint on a board, total value $30, but it's worth millions. I like it because beside its price the number of picassos's paintings is limited exactly like bitcoins, and the total capitalizations are alike. |

I don't think I have any of those. They were gifted to you at the time of the not-fork? There was supposed to be a hard fork for S2X at blockheight 494,784 which had no replay protection and was supposed to stir panic among the natives. But the fork broke because of shitty coding so this weekends Bcash epic pump and dump never got off the ground. So there hasn’t been a fork and now almost certainly won’t be because the main chain is too far ahead. So you won’t have any because they don’t exist. The BFX 2X tokens are futures for delivery of a currently non-existent coin that you can buy and sell on BFX before the fork. Leaving some rather unhappy bag holders today. Eventually people will learn not to trust Chinese miners but probably not yet. Lemme grab an aspirin and reread that at a later time in a calm environment... |
