41  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NOW the time to get into Ethereum ? on: February 28, 2020, 10:52:47 PM
personally i still see correction on ethereum or another cryptocurrency price. at this moment eth price still aroun $ 217 and maybe many people thinking its best deal to buy ethereum. but in my sight very different, halving still one month again, in concept sell they roumor and by on fact possible happen to market. so nearing halvin moment all crypto currency might be still down. i am waiting this moment before deciced to buy ethereum.

That's right. It is foolish to believe that such rapid growth will remain without any correction. In general, the market looks rather strange; on the eve of halving, you can expect anything.
Therefore, I would refrain from making any major transactions in the market until the situation is fully clarified, roughly after one and a half to two months.
Of course, the rapid growth will be followed by the correction, especially if there is a deep correlation between the top altcoins. The correction phase will take the market to another level which will be dusty. After the settled dust, the investors and traders will think about buying the dip again.
42  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trust wallet rocks on: February 28, 2020, 09:44:55 PM
I agree the latest features of a Trust wallet are necessary for completing the transaction in Bitpay invoices. The DAPP browser lets us spend BTC and ETH for paying the Bitpay invoice which is widely used for top-up Skrill wallet.  Sometimes, I prefer to top up my Skrill account with BTC but Skrill takes the money from Bitpay. For filling the gap, the Trust wallet works better than its own application of Bitpay.
43  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you see Markets on Gambling Sites? on: February 28, 2020, 05:41:44 PM
They offer promotions, they offer certain things and they even had merchandise! (Well some of them has it)
As a Gambler How do you view these things? Is it worthy of a try? Or it's just a thing of the company to get more sales and money?

No harm trying them all out, it's free I received a promotion on some of the gambling sites where I have an account and playing, promotions are good it's a good way to tell that they are allocating a portion of their profit for giveaways and merchandise, top gambling casinos are doing that to their loyal customers and new clients.
I don't want to mention here the gambling brand which has been accused as a scam site but these guys have a great range of promotions. The crypto marketplace and live casino with great cashback rate make it kinda unbearable, the free game choices are second to none for the new customers. Anyway, regarding the bottom line, it is all about lucrative promotions and marketing gimmicks.
44  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: WHERE ARE THE PAYCENT PYN-C37 EMBASSADORS? on: February 27, 2020, 11:47:34 PM
I am not sure you got this mail from real team or fake Paycent representative but there are two versions of Paycent token:
1) https://etherscan.io/token/0x0142c3b2fc51819b5af5dfc4aa52df9722790851
2)https://www.binance.org/en/trade/PYN-C37_BNB
The first one is the contract address of Paycent token which is widely used on the app. The second one is the trade page of Paycent in DEX. You can convert the PYN-C37 to BNB and later do whatever you wanna do.
45  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can ETH reach $5k in this up cycle ? on: February 27, 2020, 11:27:03 PM
Depends on BTC, if it rallies to $100,000 USD then I have no doubt ETH can reach $5,000 USD at the same time.
may take a few more years to achieve that much just can be said.

Sure, I just don't consider that a problem. Maybe it is a problem for short term traders. But those people generally do very poorly in the long run anyway.
It is not about for short term traders, there will be more waves of the current downtrend, from my experience. Don't forget, every tick on the second is the basement for all time frames, every newborn price tick will accelerate the current downtrend. I don't think market will go higher from this point but the small bounce is not impossible before the real market move by the tricky bears.
46  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying low selling high ain't always successful on: February 27, 2020, 12:39:16 PM
Buying the dip has its bad side and that's unable to predict market movement You buy the dip, it goes dipper. You buy the high, it goes dipper, you convert to usdt, it starts surging ....I quit buying low selling high for now
The unstable market conditions give us the opportunities for making gain but I agree, sometimes *hit happens and we have no choice except accepting the failure. That is the reason why I never go in a single trade more than I can afford to lose. The dip is not rational and then there is a chance of going dipper than the current dip. This is a wild market and everyone should cover his back.
47  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to survive if you lose more than 80% of your Capital? on: February 26, 2020, 05:46:17 PM
You can recover is you belief, you should learn trading for fast recovery and I suggest you use Bitcoin not altcoins for trading, if you can keep buying Bitcoin at bottoms you will rise up fast, the most profitable investment now is bitcoin

Do not have this dangerous attitude my friend. Hope and belief has nothing to do with gambling (and yes,,, trading and losing 80% capital definitely means you have been gambling). I would stop. Clearly trading is not for OP and there is no shame to admit that. Take the 20% and tell yourself you learned a good lesson and you will recover when BTC goes x5:)
First, you blamed the emotions of the trader and at the last sentence, you wished "hope" for hopeless trader. The hope is not the case here, controlling the risk and accepting the right decisions will only save the trading account unless the trader has no edge. If the trader has the edge in the crypto markets then it is not bad to make risky trades, without bias it is impossible to bear the market in the long run.
48  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you borrow money as your bankroll if you trust your skills in gambling? on: February 26, 2020, 04:45:52 PM
It is a hard question to answer and the dilemma is between "believing yourself, your gambling skills" "controlling risk with the best possible money management" is obvious. There is no Holy Grail in gambling, I prefer to gamble with the money which I can afford to lose in all cases. I am against idea of borrowing money just because I have overconfidence regarding my gambling skills, knowledge.
49  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] tap - Access to crypto trading and banking | Mastercard Approved on: February 26, 2020, 10:06:43 AM
It’s official! We have partnered with Transact Payments Limited (TPL) to provide the Tap Prepaid Mastercard® that will allow customers to convert crypto assets held with tap for spending wherever Mastercard is accepted. https://www.transactpaymentsltd.com/news/press-release/1978/

This means you will start delivering cards soon?

How to order and how much? Is it open to all residents worldwide? or just an specific country for a start?

Sorry for the bunch of question, just excited in this latest news.
For now the cards will only be available in the EU
Still no change since this post? What about the global card idea? The ANN thread is dead but there is no another thread to find the right answers to my questions. The team representative has announced a new bounty campaign for the TAP customers who passed the KYC and filled the form, I advise to post updates here during a month at least. Is there any fee to order the card? What about the express shipping options? Is the fee included or should be paid separately?
50  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ImToken lost mnemonic on: February 24, 2020, 08:11:35 PM
On your Imtoken App, just use your password you had use when creating the wallet. Click profile, click manage wallets on top left hand side, then select any of the wallets you want to retrieve. Export keystore. copy the keystore and save somewhere that is protected. I don't recommend you export the Private keys because if not well kept, all your asset can be stolen. While Keystore still need your password to decrypt your wallet. You may want to transfer out your asset and create an entire new wallet. Never save your Mnemonic phrase online or your private keys.
The best method is to keep the parts of the private key or mnemonic phrase on the different storages. If the user still has the access to the wallet, exporting the private key of the specific altcoin(in this case ETH) will solve all this mess. Next time OP should take the backup stage seriously before using the online wallets frequently.

52  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who bought Bitcoin in late 2017? Still recovering or fully recovered? on: January 28, 2020, 04:22:02 PM
The dumb money left the market and smart money pumps the recent market, it was not same during 2017. The mixed trading sentiment was caused side effects and new investors fall to the trap. Now the patient group holds the same amount of BTC while others gave up for buying back at lower levels. The overreacting trades happen around key price levels for this reason, IMHO.
53  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading Options is a bit overwhelming for me. Any Suggestions to make it easier? on: January 25, 2020, 04:28:52 PM
It seems a lot people replied here without understanding the option trading at first.

Option trading is a type of trading other than spot trading. It shouldn't be compared to crypto, stock or forex cause those three are investment instrument. Crypto support option trading, stock supports option trading, and forex supports option trading.

For me, option trading is one level below gambling in terms of risk. Therefore of you aren't really good at spot trading, you shouldn't do option trading.
The lack of understanding will lead to the misconception and the lasting consequences will be harmful. Binary options is good for hedging the time based price movements with opening the counter trade against the currency transfer made by the business owner. Someone needs to buy a $300k worth with selling EUR in June and the person is afraid of the huge difference at the mentioned date if they sign the agreement now. The person opens a time based binary options for 5 months and buys Euro with the leveraged funds on the both binary options and CFD platforms.
54  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: to be able to get a large profit in today's trading is very difficult! on: January 23, 2020, 04:28:48 PM
You are right in saying that it is very difficult to be able to make a big profit in today's trading but then you should practice and trade various places before trading. It is less risky and the sites that should be traded with well-known popularis. With proper research you can succeed.
For now big profit in trading is very difficult especially some known altcoins are getting low and its hard to trade because in one day some coins are not moving up they stock up. So I don't know when I get profit. So I think big profit for small capital is impossible but if you have enough money to trade I think you can get a big profit.

It is not only about the initial investment amount or capital, but the market is also rigged. The market manipulators use all available tools for changing the direction of the trend and they hunt stops with tricky ways. That's the reason why stop-outs happen a lot and they use well-known tactics for manipulation. As it was mentioned in the old proverb: You can't teach an old dog new tricks.
55  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You CANNOT trade successfully without RISK-MANAGEMENT on: January 23, 2020, 03:25:00 PM
I found lots of threads here on the reasons for losses or the ways to earn in the long term.

Some of the threads are quite useful, but here I'd like to put special attention to risk management. Many traders, even those who use cool strategies lose. Everyone loses sometimes. This is a rule of the market.

I'm already 10 years in trading and can state that to save is harder than to earn, that's my position. So, always plan your trading system with a special attention to risk management.

Here you can read about risks and losses:
https://www.bitinsure.com/blog/?p=35

And also reasons not to rely fully on trading bots:
https://www.bitinsure.com/blog/?p=59

Probably after it you will pay more attention to risks. Hope this will be useful.

What types and methods of risk management you use? Any software? What risk limits do you set?

Let's share Wink

Trading is not for newbies and for those who dont have proper knowledge of that. Greatest risk is start trading with huge capital without having any knowledge of that. I prefer HODL over trading since there is very little risk involved in this strategy.
https://www.bitinsure.com/blog/?p=59 this link is asking for username/password.
Yes, it is tough and explaining the hardness of the trading journey to the new traders is tougher than this. The quick rick scheme is still dominant on the minds and people don't want to understand the fact: The easy money idea is the deal-breaker for the experienced traders and they always prefer to manage the risks with strong money management and diversification.
56  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Long Term VS Daily Trading on: January 21, 2020, 04:17:27 PM
I cannot choose only between this two, because both are giving me a profit in the market. Because not all coins in crypto are design for long term vice versa with the day trading too, that's why we need to make a research about the coin we are going to buy in the market dude. But once We hold the right one coins, I can guarantee you that coins can give you a huge profit in the future.

With the right strategy we can always do what we wanted, we can always take profit depending on how we are aiming to do it! Doing day trading has a lot of more potential than long term, but still  you can earn thru long term, I do both of them too as I wanted to have more passive income, I want my money works for me.
Daily trading is more clearly profitable because our circulation of funds continues to revolve, but the ability and enough time to spend watching price action. and when the ability in daily trading is already proficient, long-term investment will be able to take place too. sometimes we really need both in investing, which certainly depends on the initial goal.
In terms of profitability, the long term investment worth to spend time and money but I doubt the time factor is considered as a variable in your calculation. The ROI wouldn't be the same in the nonvolatile market days and the unknown length of bear market will be a source of wasted time for the day trader. Investing is all about the right timing, the rest depends on the money management skills of the investor.
57  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss, A life saver or a evil? on: January 16, 2020, 06:12:49 PM
In my own personal opinion, stop loss could actually help a trader to minimize their losses when we are facing a sudden price drop or a bear market, that is why it is a life saver. But some traders intends not to stop their losses because they actually just hodl their coins until the price returns.
Stop loss is kinda double-edged sword for the inexperienced traders. The inexperienced trader has no idea where to put the stop loss line on chart and how to adjust it according to the latest market patterns. The naked price pattern is the best way to trade the average volatile markets without using the stop loss or take profit orders. The fake breakouts or early rebounds/pullbacks will be hit the SL before the trader moves it to the safe zone.
58  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What can make more profit ? on: January 16, 2020, 05:12:37 PM
The formula for maximum profit has long been known. Buy low sell high - repeat several times.
Each coin or IEO held is unique. In one case, it’s convenient to buy immediately, in the other it is better to wait, in the third, both. You need to adapt to the situation and play smartly with cards.

That is another version of the asked question: How do you know the price will not be cheaper on the listed exchange if the investor has purchased the tokens during the token sale?  In my case, I split the investment amount with buying the %50 on ICO/IEO and the rest of the amount will be held for buying the dumped tokens by bounty hunters or early investors.
59  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Full time trading is boring on: January 15, 2020, 03:54:06 PM
One of the biggest cons of full time trading is being alone , boring sitting in front of computer watching charts data all the time from past 6 moths i am almost doing this and now because of this i am not able to focus on trades. i feel like quieting full time trading and go to job so i make some new friends and Socialness

what you guys do to avoid this biggest cons on full time trading
So basically you are doing day trading and its kind of really stressful and will be more stressful if you are not making enough profits that you are expected from it. But if you are bored being alone then try to have habits like pets keeping or any kind of things which can be done alone.

If you can't handle your emotion and if you think that doing day trading causing you more stress really won't help a lot, that's why it is really important that you are enjoying what you are doing, because doing full time trade alone, of course takes time to focus but doesn't mean boring as for some it's exciting.
To be honest, sitting in front of the screen all day should be boring no matter what kind of activity you are doing. I know some financial market traders who travel the world with family and trade the markets in his spare time. Sounds very fascinating but this level of full-time trading is hard to achieve without mastering yourself in 10-14 years depending on the trader's ability.
60  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: It is right to come back? on: January 15, 2020, 02:49:54 PM

I think many people are making long-term investments with this in mind right now. There are always two options - either the price will go up or down. If we do shopping now, it does not matter that before halving the price will fall, because after it we will definitely earn. However, if the bull run starts now and the train leaves, then the chance for earning decreases every day. So in my opinion it's better to come back to the game now than to be late for the train.
to invest bitcoin does not take a short time. of course, you can take the long term and that's better because at this time the pump doesn't happen much. unless the pump is completely played and we can also benefit from it.

I think you're talking about a short-term investment for the current pump. In a long-term investment, you don't have to worry about small pumps, just wait for the bull run, which will end with a price increase of several hundred percent. For a long-term investor, a 300% price increase in 2-3 years is a huge success, so he does not pay attention to price movements by 20% as it is now, he is just waiting. So almost every moment is good to come back. I think this one is pretty good
The average business aim to make %10 annually, the few hundred percents are the dream of the many startup projects. Thanks to the advantages of the crypto ecosystem, the alternative projects offer such a high return on the investment. Waiting for the bull market will be boring but the investors know the consequences of emotional short term investment decisions.
