1021  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which one is better? Forex or crypto currency trading? on: February 04, 2019, 08:26:59 PM
Hi,

What is your opinion about forex trading vs crypto currency trading?
Which one is better? More profitable ?

Also, there are some bots like GunBot or C.A.T which automate whole trading, but is there any bots for forex?
Is crypto currency and forex trading strategy and method the same?
Forex trading is a bit stable market to me and if you have developed your skills and knowledge on interpreting the market using candlesticks formation and some indicators you can easily predict the market and get some profits out of the market.  Cryptocurrencies market is a different think and we can actually make money from the market using technical and fundamentals analysis but the volatility is too high that most time the breakouts do cause  Suspending of the existing market pattern.
Trading with bots is not much advisable to me.  I could remember how in 2011 I lose huge amounts of money through bot and since then I hate trading using bots or robots.
Speculators can move the market with low liquidity and marketcap. Cryptocurrencies are perfect example for trapping others with hot money which flows between financial markets. Low liquidity gives advantage to create shooting star type of price bars on charts and long wicks are created by speculators. Situation is not same on spot forex market. Hedge funds are regulated and they are not allowed to intervene for taking more profit. Automation is usable in case of having working strategy with proven history.
1022  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scam Crypto Telegram Groups on: February 04, 2019, 08:21:17 PM
These telegram groups just influence new traders with high profits. Their one & only slogan is to be a crypto millionaire within a month. hahaha.

I think OP already got my point. You have keep it on mind that they are nothing but fake signal providers. You can easily detect their false announcement on their channel where they got 100000 members but post seen by only 2.5k.
Quantity is over quantity in these signal groups. Etoro and similar platforms offer PAMM accounts for those who interested for managing trading accounts of investors with fixed/floating rates. Fake and egg accounts are there for a reason which mainly used for scamming new traders who want to get rich overnight.
1023  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO vs STO on: February 04, 2019, 08:17:28 PM
Until the bears leave the market and crypto growth begins, the “STO” will also not enjoy popularity. And judging by the pace of the market, it will not happen soon.
You're wrong because the crypto currency market status can not stop the growth of STO because the mode of investment applied by the STOs is different and secure than ICOs cause STOs brings liquidity to investors which the reason why almost 97% STOs in the current market were participated by alot of investors around the world.
Maybe STOs can give a feeling to investors about security and legalization but there is no reason to ignore ICOs. Scammers are looking for new methods for stealing other people's money but it is not easy nowadays. STOs can prevent this fraud trend and ICOs need to adopt to these new ecosystem.
1024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When bullrun comes on: February 04, 2019, 08:14:19 PM
bullish growth will not be soon, now the price will only fall. Only the strongest both projects and cryptocurrency owners will remain. The weak will be removed from the market, and projects that were not ready for such a fall will disappear.
Strong projects are also affected by blood bath and there is no exception unfortunately. I never invest to ICOs during bull market for preventing possible dump after listing on exchanges. Bear market is not excuse for reputable projects which have working product rather than bunch of words.
1025  Economy / Gambling / Re: BITCOINRUSH CASINO AND SPORTSBOOK - SUPER BOWL SPECIALS on: February 04, 2019, 08:11:42 PM
Thank you for offering a a better odds compared to other sportsbook.
I'm always getting like 1.93 odds for the games I like, unlike with others where they can only offer 1.90 and lower.
However, I have one request, is it possible to add more odds in a certain game?
Having better odds gives better margin compared to other gambling sites for same deal. I always prefer to bet over/under especially in Asian handicap markets but unfortunately not all bitcoin sports books offer such type of bets. Comparing odds on oddsportal will give better idea for deciding about where to spend your time in order to get best return on bet.Honestly, bitcoinrush odds are better.
1026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Bull run bring about the resurrection of ICOs and dead Altcoins? on: January 31, 2019, 10:30:29 AM
Hello forum members, this question of "Can bull run or bull market bring about the resurrection of good ICOs and also help some good altcoins that are almost dead gain their ground and run their project smoothly?"

How feasible is my reasoning? Kindly shed more lights. Thanks
For development teams behind project need additional money for running this business model but current market conditions are not good for applying their ideas to real problems. Maybe bull trend can enlighten these dead projects before rest of investors go to alternative financial markets. ICOs are not considered as solution to problems which created by traditional systems and they don't ignore the fact about copying the idea of other projects.
1027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bounty hunter paid USDT? on: January 31, 2019, 10:28:58 AM
as I know, USDT can only be accepted in exchange. right? that means it will be troublesome for the bounty hunter. sending currencies directly to exchanges, sometimes having obstacles. it could be that the USDT sent does not arrive at our balance. if that happens, there will be many complaints.
İ don't think so. There is no such possibility for USDT transfer and delays are normal for crypto payments. Stable cryptocurrrency idea is not perfect honestly so fiat is more advanced for experienced traders.
1028  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why Do You Think 2019 Will Be Different? on: January 31, 2019, 07:37:54 AM
Unlike many users here I'm not really expecting the year of 2019 to be that different, we are not going to see a huge recovery happening in this year but I do not think that we are going to see a huge crash like the one we saw during the last year, so at worst we are going to see the price remaining static for a very long time, this is not so bad because that give to us the opportunity to buy coins for a low price.
I am agree with your opinion, there is no enough arguments for aiming bulltrend. Last year was worst for new investors who bought cryptocurrencies after 10K$ but holding is only option in this case for people who already missed the train.
1029  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with the Unsold Tokens? on: January 31, 2019, 07:35:18 AM
I am confused by the fact that many projects initially declare their intention to burn unsold tokens, but when it comes to this, it often happens that the team decides to leave the tokens at their disposal. This is unfair to investors because it greatly reduces the shares of other investors. I believe that this is unacceptable.
Freezing unsold tokens is kinda acceptable if team promise to use this tokens for token development after fixed timeframe. Burned tokens increases revenue for investors but low supply doesn't prevent dumping on exchanges after listing. Sometimes team decides to decrease the bounty&marketing pool for protecting their investors but unfortunately this method doesn't work always.
1030  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel now? on: January 31, 2019, 07:31:00 AM

There are big players and small players in the market. In general, the system handles large players. We try to pursue opportunities. The crypto market is now in the hands of whales and they are directing as they wish. Despite this, I am hopeful about the market. Soon we will all start to win a lot. The reason for this is the future of the investment market in blockchain technology.
Large amounts creates more volatility but liquidity is main existing problem for big amounts. Illiquid markets are elastic to sudden price movement which caused by big orders placed in order book. Big whales are smart guys and they know how to turn the odds for their favour.
1031  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of Twitter Scammers on: January 31, 2019, 07:26:26 AM
Many scammer always doing unique way how to make their investor lost much money, like sending bitcoin 0.02 btc and will get tripple, never trusted about how scammer give you much profit without doing anything.
Still actual case nowadays. Famous twitter accounts add "Non eth giver"  line next to their nick in order to avoid scam issues. Some accounts change their twitter name to similar name of known project for forwarding investors to fishy links. Phishing newbies is easy for scammers because they know how to play with odds in this social media game.
1032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reading Whitepapers on: January 31, 2019, 07:22:26 AM
I do not waste time reading white paper because there are many words that do not make sense and do not guarantee the safety of my money.
Reading these lines can help investor to understand the process how project will solve mentioned problem. So no need to take pain if you are lazy. If you don't like scrolling though termins then ask a litepaper from team.
1033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever? on: January 31, 2019, 07:18:07 AM
Do you thing Cryptocurrency can last forever?
What is the reason behind for Cryptocurrency lasting forever?
How can we make people belive on cryptocurrency?

No, maybe there will soon some currency that will be invented that best suits the security of money and transaction of the world rather than hash power of people around the world.
What about quantum computers? Quantum computers can do same job less than required time compared to normal computer. Maybe government backed cryptocurrency can destroy current ecosystem instead of adding value.
1034  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Scam Strategy on: January 31, 2019, 07:16:14 AM
Hi everyone,
I just want to tell everyone about the new scheme of the scammer to scam. especially those people who really doesn't understand much about centralized and decentralized trading platform.

I have read several people posting about arbitrage coins like for example MTV arbitrage
Please check this link as an example:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5050943

upon checking what they the link that they are using, you can see that they are pointing you to Forkdelta.
when you check the trading on https://forkdelta.app/#!/trade/0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff-ETH you will see a token named MTV  (Multiversum). The scammer wanted you to think that this token is the same token found on IDEX.
Because there is really a Multiversum on IDEX.

But if you analyze very carefully the MTV on forkdelta doesn't match in IDEX because of 2 factors.

1.) they have a different smart contract. on forkdelta (0xcd53c76b8a350b7f9815d6ddc4617bf37c7288ff) , on IDEX (0x07a7ed332c595b53a317afcee50733af571475e7)
2.) The have Different token extension. Forkdelta (MTV) , IDEX (eMTV)

I hope that this short analysis will help others to avoid this kind of scam.
make your analysis first before trying to buy or invest on a token.
That's the reason why newbies cey on telegram groups for dumped prices on external exchanges. Contract address is copied from original source and they are trading between each other for making volume for trapping token holders who want to sell there. It is necessary to double check the  coin symbol and contract address before trading.
1035  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Thoughts on upcoming profitable coins? on: January 31, 2019, 07:01:25 AM
Do you have thoughts about profitable coins in the near future?
Since GRIN difficulty is exploding and the prince sinking.

And ideas?
Zcash,Minexcoin,Nagacoin etc. If you are asking for making portfolio then diversifying between promising coins can give better results rather than blindly putting all money to single basket.
1036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The dump has started for 2019 on: January 31, 2019, 06:59:47 AM
There is always dump of prices in the crypto market and no one can avoid it. The market is not yet on the road to recovery but some price of the altcoins are going up and I think they are the one to recover first before bitcoin. The price of leading cryptocurrencies might continue to be in roller coaster ride because there is still no positive development to support a price rally.
Dump is natural with in downtrend and bear market. Cryptocurrencies are volatile financial assets and alternatives are limited. Pump and dump happens as fast as possible compared to forex news pump&dump.
1037  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I own 1 full Bitcoin!! on: January 31, 2019, 06:53:11 AM
Hi All

I have been following this forum for a long time now.  And have learnt so much, so Thank you.

As of today I own 1 full bitcoin!

This has been a long term accumulation project for me (bought 0.1 a month for the last 10 months). The bear market has helped me achieve my goal of owning 1 full BTC.

In December 2017, I could have never imagined owning a full bitcoin.

It’s now locked on my ledger for the next few years, let’s see where we go.

Thanks again to this forum and its members.

Congrats!
Way back to 2013 i remember the day when i invested my savings to crypto for buying first bitcoin with profit. Try to invest your BTC for getting more btc. As i can see you also have ledger hardware wallet which i prefer as the safest method for storing my cryptocurrencies.
You are welcome!
1038  Economy / Gambling / Re: Betbit.com Bitcoin SPORTSBOOK AND CASINO 100% first deposit bonus on: January 31, 2019, 06:45:45 AM
Can you bet eth on your sportsbook?
Or is it btc only?

Both btc and eth. From the site i found they accept various cryptocurrencies as payment method:

Quote
Depositing other crypto currencies use the same method. The most popular crypto currencies are Litecoins, Monero, Ethereum, Ripple, and Bitcoin Cash. On the deposit page you will see all of the addresses you need. Find the crypto currency you prefer and make a deposit. The corresponding mNTC will be credited to your account.
1039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Alt teams have abondened their projects! on: January 31, 2019, 06:40:01 AM
Unfortunately it is true, there are some ICOs that have collected huge money, like 20-60 million USD in their token sales, but they are doing absolutely nothing with their development and some of them are even not listed on exchanges.
ICOs don't like downtrends because of spending during development process. Sometimes they collect good amounts but conditions don't let them to do their job as required. Huge amounts are result of hard work, promotions, people who made tasks for this purpose and more.
1040  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: life of a trader on: January 31, 2019, 06:37:10 AM
please i need advice from those traders have has been in the business for long, how do you combine it with your other normal life activities , i mean cryptocurrency trading , i just started and am glued to my phone every second , advice will be appreciated  Grin Grin Grin Grin
looking at the phone every time and checking price when I had free time.
that's used to be a habit to me, but I gave up. even the most patien person can not handle a long - big dump like his year
Addiction is not good for health especially for traders who can't control emotions while staring at charts. Just turn off the phone/pc after job is done and go walk. Patience is virtue,my friend.
